Eddie refused to accept any responsibility for the problem and the starter he recommended and installed did not provide any warranty for the starter. Eddie refused to do anything about the bill, even though I incurred additional expense to fix my boat. He then turned me over to a collection agency for not paying the bill on parts and service that clearly were not fit for the purpose he chose them for. I would go find a different dealer. One star is too many!!!

What a mess. He called tow companies, dealerships, lock smiths, LOTS of people to help either get us a new key or get the car off the ice. No dice, no one would come three miles out onto the lake to help out. I don't blame them, it was super cold and being out on a frozen lake isn't appealing to everyone anyway. Especially during the Polar Vortex. We pretty much felt screwed. THEN, our friend called Brandt's, asking for advice. The woman on the other end of the phone laughed, and then said she was going to send out "Dewey, a friend of the lake." She told us he was going to lower a hook and camera 30 feet down into the lake and fish out the keys. I know what you are thinking..."no way," right? Because that's what we were thinking. And then Dewey, along with his pal Ron, rolled up to the rental in a pick up truck with heavy-duty fishing gear and an underwater camera. Over the next two very tense hours, we FINALLY got the keys and celebrated by passing around a fifth of whiskey. Dewey and Ron will never be forgotten. True story. Thank, Brandt's! Well will only rent from you in the future!

So this review is exclusively for the mini golf experience. It was a slow day, so there were only about 3-4 groups on the course. It is a nice modern course - one of the type where is isn't always bad to hit your ball into the water. The staff member who helped us was friendly and helpful, and the course was well kept. We had fun and the game ended in a tie, perfect. If you like mini golf, this place is worth a visit. I'd go more often if it were closer to our cabin.

We got to climb the fire tower, fish at the local lakes and dams, dance around with our family and friends, and enjoy the stars at night. Everything is very clean when arriving. Bathrooms are outhouses that are well maintained, but once toilet has ran out we didn't get much of a refill. Parking space was big enough for our party and the other down the hill from us.

The highlights of the park for me are kayaking the Rum River or climbing the 100 foot fire tower to experience the view of the lake. Bird watching is also a good attraction here.
