I've been coming to the family cabin on Gull Lake during the summer since I was a little kid, but now living in California those trips are fewer and farther between. So I wanted to make the most of the couple days I had there and decided to book a guide trip with Walleye Dan. Our guide was Dustin and he picked us up in the morning right at our dock. Within a couple minutes we had lines in the water and a few minutes after that our first few fish. Caught them pretty consistently the whole morning and my only regret is that we didn't have time to spend a few more hours out there. Everything was provided for fishing (rods, bait, etc.), just make sure you bring any water, snacks, and sunscreen you need and a valid fishing license. The booking process was very straightforward. I submitted an email through the website about availability. Shelley got back to me quick and I called her the next day to book. No problem with securing a time on a summer Friday morning.
