In today's world, that kind of kindness and integrity is rare--and it speaks volumes about the way this practice treats their patients and families. Everyone in the office is professional, welcoming, and genuinely invested in each patient's care. We are so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and talented orthodontist. I recommend Dr. Kravitz and his team wholeheartedly--they go above and beyond in every way! Sincerely, Tim Ford

Despite having great insurance, Smile Doctors are constantly haranguing us, and not even the front office of Barakat can get them off our back. I called on a Friday afternoon only a couple hours before they close asking if they can schedule my two kids for a consultation. The nicest lady name Dawn helped me with the scheduling for the SAME day! Then we went there and were greeted by all of the staff! Val helped us with all of our questions, she was super nice and very polite, had a nice small on the entire time. Explained the process to me and my two kids, went over the payment plans, etc. There was a cart filled with all kind of treats and my kids had a blast. They use the latest and greatest technologies to take the X-Rays, scan the mouth, etc. Dr. Barakat is a very experienced doctor, she was so kind to us and went over everything with us. These nice staff helped us so much today and made us feel very welcome: Canan, Dawn, Val, Kelly, Kris, Genesis,Marjorie and Amanda. The office was packed filled with patients, that alone shows how experience the doctor is and how much they care about their patients. Each of my kids got a treatment plan tailored for their specific needs, customized for them so they can be happy with their braces and Invisalign. I went to other places (very famous ones in the area) and none impressed me (treatment wise, price wise and experience wise), Dr. Barakat and Val helped me so much with selecting treatments for each of my kids and we left the place knowing we are going to be in great hands!

I visited the offices for the first time today, and Vivian was the first person I met. Vivian is the most helpful & supportive person you'll want to meet when you walk into a Dr.'s office, she's professional, patient, accommodating, and Vivian puts people at ease, while she handles scheduling and various tasks at the same time; effortlessly. You'll know that you're in good hands from the moment you walk in the door, and wait until you meet Dr. Jones! I meet with businesses everyday as part of my career, and I met Dr. Jones for the first time today. As a non patient, it's common to wait or be rushed through meetings when we visit medical practices and hospitals, and sometimes the persons we meet are not fully engaged which is uncomfortable to witness LOL. Dr. with decades of success, he has treated people who've moved across the Country and who still miss the skill & care he provided them as seen in older Yelp reviews, and from my point of view, as a non patient, I can relate to their reviews because I only spent an hour talking with Dr. Jones and he's so present and in the moment that we talked about weather, exercise, the value of family time, college basketball and technology for an hour, and he talked with me the same way he talked his staff and a patient. That tells me he doesn't put on a show for the patients, he is a genuine healthcare provider who's patient's trust, have trusted, will trust and write home about, because this is who he is, and I thought you should know, from a non patient's point of view.

I wish that we could experience all the great things that other reviewers have mentioned,…read moreunfortunately we did not even get to step foot inside the office. I initially heard about this office on google when searching for an orthodontist for my son. They conveniently offer scheduling a new consult via their website. Scheduling was very simple and I thought we were done. Within one hour of scheduling a few weeks ago, I received a text message and 3 missed phone calls from their office. This was a huge turn off as a new patient. I was in a phone meeting At the time so it was very frustrating that they kept calling in such a short amount of time as well as texting. I did call and spoke with their office manager and expressed my frustration at being contacted so many times within such a short time frame. Their office manager stated it was because they needed to reschedule my appointment. At that time I decided not to reschedule and take some time to think. A few weeks later ( today) I decided that maybe it was a one time issue. Sometimes things happen and there is a need to call a patient and reschedule. Unfortunately the same issue happened again today. Within a short time of scheduling online, I was emailed and told they needed to reschedule my appointment. At this point I truly feel that management and the orthodontist need to have a sit down and revamp their online scheduling system or just figure out what is going on. When you have a new patient, you typically want your first interaction to be great. You don't want to have to contact them right away and reschedule. You want things to go smoothly and make a good impression. I had not one but two disappointing experiences with this practice before ever walking in the door and it is at this point that I realize this will not be the office that I want my son going to.
