I am beyond grateful and appreciative of Dr. Philip's time and care for me even though I am not his patient. After seeing my dentist at a different office, I was informed that I needed deep cleaning ASAP. However I was not provided further information. This made me doubt whether my own dentist just wanted me to pay out of pocket for a service that was not necessarily urgent. I wasn't sure what to do and expressed my concerns to my family. My sister suggested that she can ask her friends that are in the dental field which led us to Dr. Philip. Dr. Philip immediately responded to my sister and later even personally called me. He was already home, yet still took time to answer my questions. He even offered me to come over to his clinic for him to give me a proper consultation that I did not receive in my own dental clinic. He provided patient education that I needed and even followed up with me days later to make sure I received my perio charting and provided his professional opinion to help me make my decision. Knowing that Dr. Philip did this for me even though I am not a patient of his, I can imagine the greater care his patients receive. He is a phenomenal example that I wish more dentists exemplified. His expertise, patience, and understanding is exceptional! Thank you very much for your time and help Dr. Philip! You are the best!

It has now been four months since I posted this review. Despite the office publicly stating that…read morethey would review their intake procedures and reconsider how these forms are presented, neither the owner nor anyone from the office has contacted me to clarify the issue or follow up with the changes they have made. At this point, the lack of any follow-through leaves me with the impression that the response was primarily for public-facing purposes rather than an indication that meaningful changes would actually be considered. I would have been happy to return had the process been reconsidered, and I remain disappointed that their public response appears to have ended with the response itself.

I had a great experience here AT FIRST... This last time I…read morewent in to get my front bottom tooth fixed, as the composite that was on it from a childhood trauma came off, I had a terrible experience. I literally left crying. After my cleaning, which was great, Dr Maynard came in, didn't even say anything to me, and just started working on my teeth. There was no confirmation of what we were doing, never signed any kind of consent, literally nothing, just went to work. I have severe anxiety about coming to the dentist, so to not even know if I was going to be numbed or not while he started scraping and drilling on my tooth was extremely triggering. Not to mention he and the assistant talked the whole time and she continuously got distracted and wouldn't suction the spit in the back of my throat, making me have to keep asking and having him stop. At the end, the tooth kept touching my top teeth and I kept having to ask him to drill it down more, he seemed more and more annoyed each time. It still touches and is very bothersome. I have always chosen to come here because of the service. My insurance barely covers anything at this dentist office so I always get a bill after. When my bill came, I was charged for 2 of my front teeth being done. I called and they stated that he went ahead and took the old composite off of the other tooth, and exchanged it too. I was never told he was going to do this, and it honestly wasn't necessary. The composite on the other tooth was fine. I would have at least liked to have been given a choice in this matter, as I now have a 600 dollar bill that I have to pay. The composite he put in already had a crack in it, and I can feel it still when my mouth comes together, but I don't have it in me to even go back. I'm giving 3 starts because I know they can do better, and have in the past, but this last experience has me searching for a new dentist.

Exceptional Care and Professionalism…read more I was referred to Dr. Hatami by a coworker, and as a new patient, I was eager to find a dentist I could trust. From the very first interaction, she and her team exceeded my expectations. I called the day after a holiday weekend with a cracked molar and was able to get an appointment quickly. From that initial call through my office visit and cleaning, the team was not only attentive and professional, but genuinely compassionate--they understood my nervousness about returning to a dentist. When Dr. Hatami recommended tooth extraction, they referred me to a specialist facility that was just as amazing as they were. The extraction was performed the very next morning--an impressive turnaround that showed how seamlessly they coordinated my care. What made this experience meaningful is the context: my last dental visit was so traumatic that I didn't see a dentist for 15 years. But Dr. Hatami's compassionate approach helped me feel comfortable returning. Thankfully, my consistent at-home care kept major issues at bay, and with her help, I've now addressed the cracked molar. I can't recommend Dr. Hatami and her team highly enough. They restored my confidence in dental care--and validated my coworker's referral completely.
