I came here for a possible root canal consultation, and it turned into one of the worst dental…read moreoffice experiences I've ever had. Four days before my appointment, the office called trying to cancel and move me to another day. When I said that wouldn't work, they called back an hour later saying they'd "fit me in" at 7:30 a.m. I showed up 20 minutes early, ready to go -- only to be greeted by a rude, short-tempered receptionist who acted like she hated her job. After spending 20 minutes filling out paperwork, she calls me back up to the counter and tells me it'll be $650 to over $1,000 -- even though the dentist hadn't even seen me yet. When I asked why this wasn't mentioned earlier, she snapped, "You should know what your insurance covers." She hadn't even asked for my insurance card yet! Then she tossed a flyer on the counter and told me to scan it to apply for some "medical credit card." The attitude was unbelievable. I also overheard another patient frustrated about a $150 cancellation fee, even though the office had just cancelled his appointment last minute. At that point, I walked out. I wasn't about to hand over hundreds of dollars to an office that can't communicate with basic respect. Dental work is stressful enough -- you shouldn't have to deal with rude front-desk staff, hidden costs, and zero professionalism. Save yourself the headache. Find a dentist that values transparency, communication, and respect. This place clearly doesn't.

It's unfortunate that I have to leave a negative review, because I was satisfied with the quality…read moreof the actual dental care that I received. Through either negligence or incompetence, I was severely overcharged for my treatment as well as charged, without any sort of notice, $150 for mistakenly missing an appointment. I had even answered the phone the day of the missed appointment, explained that I was at work and would be unable to attend, and was not told over the phone that I would be charged. Thankfully I was able to work with my insurance and be refunded, but whoever handles the billing at this office needs to be held accountable. The older woman at the front desk is incredibly rude and refused to cooperate with me in any way when I was upset about the sudden charge and told her my insurance informed me I was overcharged. She and the billing are the entire reason I now have no desire to return to this office, which again, is a shame, because the actual dentists treating patients are lovely and did great work.

When my wife and I decided to "level up" with our dental care, we were referred to Dr. Michelle…read moreWang by our fabulous endodontist, Dr. Debra Meadows. Well, "level up" barely describes the experience we have had so far with Dr. Wang and her associates! First and foremost, Dr. Wang is a passionate dental educator at heart and incredibly professional and knowledgable! My new patient visit included x-rays, a thorough cleaning, MANY photos of what my teeth actually look like (yikes, the plaque!), a tooth-brushing demonstration, and guidance about how to use a Water Pik. The treatment plan she formulated for me was conservative, fair, and reasonable, and there was not one attempt to try to upsell me. She taught me so much about my teeth and oral hygiene care in that initial visit. And like any good educator, she was transparent about the work she was doing and what she plans to do with my teeth. I found her to be so motivating and encouraging. As someone who has never been a consistently good dental patient, I really appreciated her approach. I went back a month later for a few fillings and she showed me (via before and after photos) how much I've improved in my oral hygiene and a few areas where I need to be more diligent. That was really helpful and I will look forward to this monitoring in subsequent visits. The vibe in the office? Welcoming, friendly, and completely patient-centered. Heather, Natalia, and Sarah, along with Dr. Wang, are all so personable, sweet, and relaxed. If you are looking for a dental professional of this caliber, Dr. Michelle Wang is the one!

When I moved to the Palm Springs area, I was disappointed that none of the recommended dentists…read morewere accepting new patients. Eventually I discovered Dr. Wang in Redlands. I must say that I unequivocally feel that her practice is well worth the long commute. I have been very impressed with Dr. Wang, her staff and hygienists. Dr. Wang is thorough, knowledgeable, sensitive to the needs of her patients, and accommodating if there is an emergency situation. I have since moved out to Yucaipa so I no longer have the long commute, but I would have been more than happy to continue traveling the long distance to receive the quality care and attention I get from Dr. Wang, Heather, and the hygienists. I am so appreciative that I found them for my dental needs.
