My experience with this dental office has been amazing. My family had a really difficult time finding a good dentist when we moved to California. Our first dentist was super rigid with appointments and scheduling, our second dentist was corrupt, and our third dentist was incompetent. I am so grateful to find a dentist that is none of these things (and friendly as well). They fixed the problem that our incompetent dentist couldn't fix, they never try to "find work" or upsell something I don't need, and when there is something actually wrong in my mouth (I am experiencing pain when I bite down), they are patient with me as I seek to understand the problem and wait on the right timing to take care of it. I don't even live in Watsonville anymore, but am more than willing to commute 45 minutes to this dentist office because they are exceptionally good. I am thankful! read more

What more can I say but painless! In all the years I been to dentist He is by far the best ever. He is a master the art at shots and you don't know he is giving you one. He and his staff are friendly ,caring, professional and go above and beyond . I had a implant that came loose and we decides at this time a bridge would be best.. Well, how do I start! I've been going to Dr. Haskin since 1987 and then my parents started going and now my grandkids are going. First I have always believed Dr. Haskin and their entire team have been great. That's why some 8 or 9 years ago I was taking my two grand children to a dentist appointment just say in Salinas and while in the waiting room I tried to talk to the receptionist about their appointment as the office seemed to be running very late, the receptionist was rude---I decided my grand children needed to go to Dr. Haskin. Dr. Haskin and Dr. Goldstine have been very gracious with my 6 grand kids, especially one who is very difficult to work on, BUT TODAY the entire office went out of their way today for me and watched my twin 5 year old grandsons while I was having my teeth cleaned! First things first. Dr. Haskin is the best dentist, by far, I've ever had. Aside from his dental skills, his "bedside manner" should be taught in schools. My teeth, were a mess. I had been in multiple bicycle accidents and played rugby in college and due to that, the teeth that weren't missing, broken or loose were surrounded by hypertrophic gums due to medication and infection. He has completely taken care of that and I'm in the midst of being fitted for an upper denture. His office has been professional, helpful and is as nice as he is. Susan was incredibly helpful guiding me through the labyrinth known as dental insurance. It's obvious that the entire staff takes their cues from the leadership of Susan and Terry. I have been with Terry for over 20 years. He tried to retire & sold his practice. not seeing eye to eye with the Dentist he sold it to, Ifound another very competent dentist & was with him for many years. Evidently, most of his patients couldn't see eye to eye with the "new" guy. Consequently Terry swooped in to rescue the practice and has been here ever since. I am back along with many old and new patients. Terry is a great guy, so is his staff and his office is beautiful. I never feel I am being sold a procedure/treatment that isn't needed. Did I mention he was also 'painless'? Hard to say this about other dentists. So if you have dentist phobia, you got to try this guy. Okay,so I don't usually do 2 nd reviews but I just finished a root canal at Dr Haskins office and had to input. Dr Goldstine is who I saw and I gotta tell you he did better job than other specialists I saw.He was very patient and didn't seem frazzled about anything my tooth had going( much decay trying to save what's left)His assistant and him were in unison and I was not feeling anything,he gets you numb very well! So actually I'm looking forward to getting my crown next week,I don't have dental insurance so I have felt money is well spent for the quality work I received..This place is secret gem where it seems that medicine comes first.I think the whole office really cares about people,finally found some place with ethics!! read more

Our whole family goes to Dr Haskins office. We love the genuine friendly and professional nature of the staff, the clean environment and exceptional care. Everyone is very kind & welcoming. My youngest daughter was afraid of the dentist office. One bad visit at a different office left her terrified. When we started she would only sit on my lap and barely open her mouth. on our last visit she did it all. From X-Rays to Cleaning, Fluoride to wearing the glasses. She let both hygienist and Dr give the quality of care that we all are searching for. Especially when it comes to our children. The visit went alright. I checked in and sat for a few mins before being called. The room was quiet and I appreciated how everything looked clean and in place. The doctor came in and introduced themself in a kind but professional way. They asked a bunch of questions which at first felt a bit much but made sense later on. It was clear they were trying to figure out what was going on by looking at how different things might connect. They gave me some helpful info and talked through what some of my options could be. Was in shock, after appointment with a Dentist who said I needed extensive work, and would also need to have some of the Dental work done by a Oral Surgeon, with a cost that left me stunned. At the request of my Sister, I contacted Dr. Haskin for a second opinion. The extensive work was not necessary, nor having to see a Oral Surgeon and the cost was reasonable. Very pleased with the outcome of the dental work; pain level was little to none; Staff was friendly, answered my questions and are efficient. It was August and I'd just moved to Watsonville. I had a serious tooth ache but every dentist seemed to be on vacation, unresponsive, or not taking new patients. I actually found Dr. Haskin's office here online and hallelujah! they took me in. It turned out I needed a root canal so was referred for that work but returned to have a new crown by Dr. Goldstine. They worked through the pandemic with caution and care, and every person in the office is responsive and competent. I have very sensitive teeth and have had horrible experiences in the past with other dentist, and since my previous dentist who was great had retired its been a long time since I've gone being so terrified and judged before I didn't trust anyone else. Dr. Haskins is by far the best dentist I have ever had. He is a perfectionist, and his work is outstanding. He is also a master with the needle - absoutely no pain during injection or procedures. Had extensive removal of aging silver fillings and all were fast and painless. Even my brother who is a dentalphobe loves his new dentist. I took my wife to see Dr. Haskin for the first time upon the recommendation of our old dentist because of his reputation in working with the elderly. Even though we live above Scotts Valley in the mountains, the drive to Watsonville was well worth it and my wife of 89 years now enjoys a big smile. Dr Haskin is one of kindest people I've ever met. He is funny and very gentle. I felt no pain as he removed my old crown and filed the tooth underneath. The anesthetic wore off an hour or so after my appointment ended, and I went about my day as if nothing extraordinary had happened.
