I had an accident back in April that left me with a broken tooth, and he responded to my needs so quickly I'm so grateful for what he did. My family also loves going to him, and it was actually one of my daughters who first recommended him to me. I was trying to find a dentist that accepted Workers Comp claims and after contacting quite a few Dr. Moustafa's office actually reached out on the weekend while they were closed. They were very accommodating and my Workers Comp claim adjuster got them setup to take my case. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive and Dr. Moustafa reviewed my case in detail about what my options were. He was not simply trying to do the easiest fix but looked at what would be required for the best long-term fix! Awesome dentist and staff. I developed a loose tooth towards rear of my mouth, the pain was getting tougher to manage as days passed. I emailed Moustafa's office on a Sunday. By 930 Monday morning I was getting xrays performed by Dr. Moustafa, by 1030 I was walking out with two less teeth one being a wisdom tooth. Dr. Moustafa is a non nonsense, get it done right, professional. He and staff explained to me the process of their procedures and made me feel comfortable. The following day his staff gave me a follow up call concerning post surgery and prepared to answer questions I had. My surgery went very well, no pain during or after. I decided to try this dentist out. My dad had been here previously and liked it however the staff never contacted him to schedule follow up care. I decided to try it anyway, the staff was very nice and I was taken in almost as soon as I arrived. The cleaning was great. I only gave it 3 stars because I was told by the dentist that his staff would contact my insurance and then contact me to let me know if I was eligible for a night guard, they never called. I also haven't been contacted for another appointment for a cleaning which is odd for a dental office. Since they never followed up with my dad or with me it seems like this is how they operate. I had lost a part crown. Even though it was during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, I called Dr. Moustafa's office and was asked to come in immediately. They took care of me promptly--no waiting, no questions besides the usual medical history check list. Dr. Moustafa was extremely professional--he had to grind down a portion of the tooth for a cavity which he did without novacaine and--best of all--no discomfort! He then filled the tooth and shaped it perfectly. As I had no dental insurance I was concerned but the price was practically a give away for the two x rays and all the work he had to do. Dr Moustafa is a really great dentist. He is very comforting, but very meticulous and good at what he does. I always feel fully confident in his hands when I am in the dentist chair. I have had several minor dental procedures over the last 5 years with Dr Moustafa, after having gone the 5 years prior with no dental care. On my first visit, I had no dental insurance, and we just made a list prioritizing the procedures that needed to be done and what they would cost. His rates are so reasonable, I was actually shocked, and so relieved. And he doesn't push any procedures that he doesn't think are necessary, just tells you straight up if it's important or not, and how soon it should get done. He doesn't nickel and dime you to death. I chipped a molar and I was finally forced to look for a new dentist, asked family and friends for a referral and decided to give Alaa Moustafa a chance. Super professional came in with a good vibe, joked a bit and gave me straight answers. Got down to the point and took care of my dental issues. From my last dentist he would double book and leave half way in my visit to do another clients work just to come back to me later, with Dr Moustafa that is not the case he dedicates his attention to his patient and does so with the patients comfort in mind.
