They redeliver food when it's been dropped off at another residence. They say that's not the case but they sent me TWO "your order is on the way" messages one occurring after picking up my food at the misdelivery residence and then bringing it to me. They SAY redelivery is not their policy but how do you know. They could have exposed me to disease or a plain sadist who wanted to food tamper. They didn't anticipate the initial recipient to find my number on the internet (thanks for exposing my PII btw) and warning me that they marked the containers and retaped the box in a specific way to ensure that it would be obvious if the food was redelivered. Disgusting in times of pandemic they cut corners and they say it's not their policy. There's no way for customers to know. Take you chances or get a better service.

Amazing text to receive at 5 in the morning.

If you have a security door or gate, think twice. My first and last order sort of arrived this morning. By "sort of" I mean that the delivery person got within walking distance to my front door, but somehow failed to follow my pretty clear instructions on how to enter the code on the security gate for our neighborhood. There's nothing wrong with the gate or my instructions. I went out and tested it. It works fine. But that's not the worst part. No. When the driver couldn't get the gate open, she ditched the box in a flowerbed nearby and texted me a picture of it! I KNOW, RIGHT?! So I slog two blocks in my pajamas (sorry, neighbors!) in the dark to fetch the box. And nearly all of my interactions with Territory today have been along the lines of "she tried, she totally did exactly what you said, are you sure you gave the right instructions, is there another gate" etc. Like maybe I've never given anyone instructions for how to get to my house before.... Like I said, on the off chance that maybe both gates were inoperable at the same time for my gate code , I went out and tested it. There is no way this person put the code in correctly. It's not hard. It's a pound-sign and four digits. Canceled.

Taken before expiration date. Eeewww!

WATCH OUT! Spoiled meals. So far this year I have received seven plus meals where the wrapper over the container is swollen. Two of those meals were that way the day they arrived. I contacted Territory support and they recommended that I not eat them but offered no further information. I have been a weekly user for over five years and was very satisfied until recently when they changed their packaging method and went to weekly delivery. Now the price is up 30%, they charge for delivery, there are no more salads and, of course, they potentially give you food poisoning. No thanks. I cannot risk getting sick.

Edit: Someone came and took care of this issue within an hour. Thank you and I appreciate the promptness. Original: Someone keeps illegally dumping your waste in our trash bin. This isn't the first time. Our business' already generate enough waste we are unable to get rid of yours as well.

Saying there is an issue with billing on a Friday then sending an email on Monday morning telling me my order is ready is ridiculous! Talk about mixed messages... It's Christmas Eve and I don't have time to pick up my order... I guess that's just $60 down the drain since everything is closed on Christmas. When I sent an email requesting clarification, I was told 2 orders were placed and one went through! How is that possible when I only have one account? It's feeling like this company is just out to get your money... (Which in their final reply states that they can give me a credit for future meals! But no refund!) I thought I'd give it another chance after the horrible experiences I had months ago. But double ordering and sending mixed messages to customers is so not cool!

Delicious!

Very easy to pick up my food on my way to 895 in canton. The meals have excellent variety and choice and heat up nicely. I love the flavors and recipes and the nutrition info! I will keep ordering from territory. Worth the money compared to what I was spending eating out and the junk that I was putting in my body! Give them a try!

The packed meals. Easiest "meal prep" ever.

I had a great overall experience with territory foods. The online ordering process was simple and straightforward and I opted to pick the foods up at my local gym at no cost. How convenient! I was looking for a convenient and healthy alternative for lunch other than spending all weekend meal prepping for the week. I like that you can just take the containers to work and pop it in the microwave. I was happy with the taste of most of the meals I ordered and found it to be fairly cost effective. Definitely go for the chimichurri steak!!

Dead fly in the food

It's shocking to see Territory's fall. Lately, I had been feeling suspicious about my health issues after consuming Territory foods on a regular basis. Now, I have started to find dead flies in their food. Also, the taste isn't' there anymore. Food doesn't feel fresh nor smells good.

Updating to three stars. Owner reached out and was very apologetic and offered a refund. Good food, but delivery needs improvement.

I have to say, my husband and I are VERY pleased and have gone past our one week "trial run" and are now entering our third week. First, I feel like I spend wayyyy more money than this at Whole Foods every week, and only get a few meals out of it. Second, I am a working mom, and by the time I get home after being stuck in traffic, cooking is the last thing I want to do. Dinner is done, and I can spend more time with my daughter when I get home. Third, the food is really, really good. Ingredients are high quality and what I'd make at home if I had the time. Fourth, portions are awesome. We signed up for the deluxe, and I split my meal with my daughter (15 months old) and I am more than full. My husband is always full off of one meal too. Sometimes for lunch we will even split a container in half and be fine (and we get more meals out of it!)

Food taste: In other weeks, I've had to add my own sauces. I always order the deluxe portion for 20% more food because the regular size is too small for me. I cook and add more veggies because most prepared foods don't give me enough. The only thing I needed to add to these last meals were a pinch of salt, but this makes sense because the food is made for all types of people. Delivery: I love the fact that the food is delivered to my doorstep. They deliver on Sundays and seem to be providing service every other week now. There are 4 options available but you can adjust how many servings you want of each meal. Service: No issues and I get a prompt response each time.

A nice variety of different foods and cultures. I went with Que Rico, with Puerto Rican inspired cuisine. I ordered grandmas favorite or Abuelas Favorito which was rice with ham and grilled chicken. You get 2 options. I opted for red beans and fried plantains. The rice was very tasty and the smoked ham was plentiful. The grilled chicken tasted great and has many pieces. The beans were flavorful with some potatoes. The plantains were crispy and great. The sweet bread or pan sobao, was soft, large, and reminded me of food in Puerto Rico. All the ingredients and food tasted fresh and so good. Would definitely go back and try a different restaurant choice but this one was A-One.

They were crispy, good amount of filling and nice flavor overall. Fantastic. I think they should serve the meal with a bit more rice. The Pernil, pulled pork was sort of dry and unfortunately the large side of garilc mojo sauce (garlic oil) was sideways in the bag and by time I got it home, the oil had all leaked out into the paper bag and onto the floor mat inside my car. The mofongo bites listed as 5 bites, however I only received 4. They were on the sweet side. The masa from the plantain taste too ripe for my liking. I prefer more green plantains in my mofongo. The tostones were pretty good. The pictures made them look a bit larger, but oh well. This was my first time ordering from a ghost kitchen, and the concept is a brilliant idea because you can order from so many cuisines! You can try so many restaurants in one place. Quite amazing.

It has that perfect "neighborhood staple" feel where the focus is clearly on the quality of the ingredients rather than unnecessary frills. I had the Metro Italian (12") which is a beast of a sandwich!! The meat-to-bread ratio is spot on, and you can tell they aren't skimping on the quality of the cold cuts. The bread has that essential crusty exterior while staying soft enough to soak up the oil and vinegar without falling apart. It's a classic Italian sub done exactly the way it should be. Just good luck opening your mouth wide enough to take that first bite! You can't leave an Italian deli without a cannoli, and this one didn't disappoint. The shell was crisp (not soggy!), and the filling was rich and creamy without being overly sweet. It was the perfect finish to a heavy lunch. The shop has a great, authentic energy. It's efficient, which is a must for the Crystal City lunch rush, but they still make you feel like a regular even if it's your first time in. It's easily one of the best spots in the area for a high-quality, reliable meal. They have some tables outside for the nicer days I think the 12" is definitely enough to share if you aren't starving--or just save the other half for a "Round 2" dinner, you won't regret it!

It was night time and I had a party to go to, so I ordered a head online. By the time I got there, it was ready. I was very impressed by the pizza I got -- the Island Time has bacon, pineapple, chili garlic sauce, and marinara. It was absolutely fantastic, from the base cheese and dough to all the other mentioned ingredients. I love a pizza with a nice kick to it! It's not quite Andy's level for me, but understand why people been telling me about it for years. Also, it's kind of expensive!

I've eaten at plenty of delis over the years, but Eddie's Little Shop completely surprised me with flavors I've genuinely never tasted before. The sandwiches here are incredibly unique, creative combinations that just explode with flavor in ways I wasn't expecting. What really stood out were the huge, fresh chunks of real mozzarella, paired with their homemade-style dressings, sauces, and condiments. It's easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and I've tried a lot. The portions are generous, the bread is spot-on. I'll definitely be back before my trip ends. Saturday, midafternoon, I stop by for an Eddie Mootz ($17) (salami, ham, sopressata, mozzarella, on seeded italian). I'm handed this brown paper bag that weighs, I dunno, 3 lbs? I have to carry this back with me to the Metro. Twice along the way, I have to stop and catch my breath. I get home, my kitchen counter sags a bit where I put the bag down. Cripes, Eddie's. And the sandwich itself? 2 meals, easily. Thick thick piles of meat and a shovel-full of mozzarella. Very chewy bread. I work up a sweat just eating this, there's so much labor involved. I ordered online from the Metro, around the DCA stop, and got a notification it was ready before I got to the King Street stop. Fast turnaround.
