This place is just like Wonder. You order either online or via a kiosk for the restaurant you're interested in. They have 7 pages of restaurants. A nice variety of different foods and cultures. I went with Que Rico, with Puerto Rican inspired cuisine. I ordered grandmas favorite or Abuelas Favorito which was rice with ham and grilled chicken. You get 2 options. I opted for red beans and fried plantains. The rice was very tasty and the smoked ham was plentiful. The grilled chicken tasted great and has many pieces. The beans were flavorful with some potatoes. The plantains were crispy and great. The sweet bread or pan sobao, was soft, large, and reminded me of food in Puerto Rico. All the ingredients and food tasted fresh and so good. Would definitely go back and try a different restaurant choice but this one was A-One.

Que Rico came highly recommended, so i had to give them a try. I got Primo's Favorite, which is the stewed chicken meal. You get a choice of 2 sides, and i picked the arroz con gandules and fried sweet plantain. Everything was flavorful and hot. Parking was kind of hectic and the building is hard to find if you don't know where you're going.

We ordered from Que Rico today for our team lunch and it was delicious! We tried a variety of dishes including the pernil, house rice with pigeon peas, house rice with chicken, chicken kabob, beef kabob, mofongo bites, and plantains. Everything had great flavor and was super satisfying. Since I don't eat pork, I skipped the pernil, but I enjoyed everything else we ordered. The mofongo bites and plantains especially stood out--perfectly cooked and seasoned. The kabobs were tender, and the rice dishes were hearty and flavorful. My only critique is that the menu doesn't offer any vegetables or salad options. I personally love having greens with every meal, so that would be a wonderful addition. That aside, Que Rico really impressed me, and I definitely plan to come back and dine in on my own soon!

My Dominican wife loves this place although I find the food dry and portions small. I believe she loves it only because it's one of the few Puerto Rican restaurants in the area to where she doesn't have to cook. It is consistently busy with patrons coming and going, so they must be doing something right. The parking lot is tiny for the number of patrons and if you find a way to drive in, you might be challenged driving out. As you enter the restaurant, you'll be puzzled for a minute and have to follow the actions of other patrons while reading the instructions on the wall. There's a huge QR code on the wall that you'll scan upon entering which takes you to a site where you'll enter your order number. This site will advise if your order is ready although the one time I had to wait, the time decremented, incremented, and then said ready. So I'm not sure how well it works. Either way, when it's ready it will ask if you're ready to pickup and advise what cubby hole to pop open to access your food. There is no interaction with the restaurant staff and most of the time you don't see them. I've had the pernil which was ok, not as good as my wife's which has more flavor. My wife agreed the tostones were dry and not flavorful which disappointed her on multiple occasions to where she put them in the air fryer at home to modify. The maduros are pretty good, sweet and flavorful. Overall, I would prefer to eat elsewhere but she enjoys this place. It's worth a try to see if it suits your tastebuds.

Folks, I found true authentic Puerto Rican food. Finally, after 19 years in the DMV. I ordered chicken, Spanish rice, and beans. It smelled so good that I pulled over in my car and feasted. Everything was seasoned like true NY style Puerto Rican food. Que Rico is not a sit down restaurant. For this, I had to take a star; and the place is situated in a new type of rental kitchen in a multi restaurant cube facility. You can either order online, or on a kiosks when you get there. When your meal is ready, it will be placed in a wall locker for pickup.

Finally had a chance to try this place since it's on the way home from DCA to Woodbridge. Only carryout, via locker located behind the 7-11 off West Glebe. We ordered a Tio's plate (steak), a Titi's plate (beef stew), trio sampler of pastelillos beef mofongo bites and a pina colada smoothie. Both plates were delicious and flavorful! The plain cheese pastelillos we can take a pass on but the beef one was yummy! My mofongo bites were MIA but as soon as I called, the owner apologized and corrected the mistake! We definitely will be back for that mofongo though!

Pulled pork, rice, beans, fried bananas

Food - excellent meal - tried one of the Puerto Rican meals with pulled pork, rice and pigeon peas with a side of beans and fried bananas with a guava drink. - very authentic- very filling - very tasty Service - you order from a digital pad in the lobby - food is prepared in a kitchen behind a wall and is ready in about 15 min- very quick, very efficient. Digital menu has pictures and descriptions of all meals Ambience - industrial area, limited parking, try and park near the 7-11 on Glebe then walk around back. Enter the small lobby near the loading dock. The lobby is unattended - just use the digital kiosk. Give them a try - we loved the food - very popular with food delivery companies

Que Rico is so good. I've been hearing about it and am glad that I finally got the chance to try it. I love Puerto Rican cuisine. I ordered Abuela's Favorite Plate, which had pernil, arroz con gandules, tostones, and habichuelas guisadas. I also ordered a chicken empanada and mojo sauce. Everything was delicious and I appreciate the little bit of crispy pork skin that was included. I love hearing that crackle. I added some pique that I had and it just made everything pop. I cannot wait to try more options from Que Rico, especially the mofongo bites.

I ordered food from this restaurant at the Four Mile Food Co. I only wanted some protein, not a whole meal, and was happy to see a side of pernil on the menu. It was a sizeable amount of flavorful and tender meat. I added a side of tostones. This was quite a large order that I couldn't even finish. All in all, a good option at this restaurant co-op.

I ordered takeout from Que Rico and tried Abuelo's Favorite Plate and a side of Mofongo Bites with dipping sauces. Everything was incredible! The pork in Abuelo's Favorite Plate was tender, flavorful, and tasted like a true home-cooked meal. The Arroz con Gandules was perfectly seasoned, adding a wonderful balance to the dish. The tostones were expertly fried--crispy yet tender--and the dipping sauces elevated them even more. The side of beans was a delightful surprise, rich and well-seasoned, rounding out the meal beautifully. Last but not least, the Mofongo Bites were crispy on the outside, savory, and satisfying on the inside. Que Rico delivers authentic Puerto Rican cuisine with delicious flavors that are clearly made with care. I'll definitely be ordering again!

My best friend is from Puerto Rico, and she has been looking for a good Puerto Rican restaurant in the DC area for years. She was so excited to discover Que Rico, so we decided to have a girls' night-in, order delivery, and give it a try. In her own words, the food was like "a taste of home". I must agree, it was delicious. We each enjoyed Abuelo's Favorite Plate with mofongo con cuero. My friend only shared one critique: the cuero in the pernil was lacking flavor and needs to be salted a little more, but the pernil itself was perfect. (I'll defer to her expertise on that one!) Overall, my friend was thrilled, and I certainly will be ordering again!

I tried this place through DoorDash. The food came very well packed and fresh! I thought it may get a little cold since I live further away, but it was still yummy. I ordered: - beef mofongo bites - pastelillo trio sampler - abeulo's favorite plate with pork and arroz con jamon fumado Each of them came with their own garlic mojo sauce and mayo ketchup. The garlic sauce was soooo good, but def will linger in your mouth for a full day lol. It was my first time having beef mofongo bites and I thought they were really good. The portion size was bigger than I thought they'd be. The trio sampler had beef, beef and cheese, and cheese. I severely underestimated the size. They're bigger than my face! I'm glad to get the trio on my first time so I know what I can try different options. The plate combo meal was delicious. It came with beans and tostones. Everything was made fresh and full of flavor. This is a comfy and cozy meal. Excited to have more Puerto Rican options in the area!

If you're even thinking about indulging in amazing Puerto Rican food, you need to make the drive to Puerto Rico Cafe in Manassas, VA. I'm serious, it's absolutely worth it. My Scottish fiancé and I (I'm Panamanian) literally drove from Frederick, MD, to Manassas, VA, just to eat there, and I would 100% do it again without hesitation. From the very first bite, I felt like I was back in Puerto Rico during my short but unforgettable year living there. The smells, the flavors, the warmth it hit me right in the soul. The carne frita...Perfect. Crispy edges, juicy pork, seasoned exactly how it should be flavorful and comforting in that "this tastes like home" kind of way. You can't fake that kind of flavor. It reminded me of my mom's cooking and even the food from my beautiful Panama. The pollo en crema de ajo was incredible. The sauce was creamy and full of real garlic flavor, but not overpowering, just perfectly balanced. My husband, who grew up eating completely different British/Scottish food, would not stop talking about it. That says a lot. The pollo en salsa criolla was just as delicious tender chicken with peppers and onions in that classic criollo sauce that tastes like it's been simmering all afternoon. The arroz blanco and arroz con guandules were cooked to perfection not mushy or sticky, but fluffy just like well-cooked rice should be. The yucca wasn't oily; they were crispy, nicely golden brown, and the tostones (patacones in my country) were crispy and lightly salted. And the desserts... listen. The quesitos con guayaba were flaky and buttery, filled with perfectly sweet guava. The pastelillos de guayaba were crispy on the outside, sweet and slightly tangy on the inside. We should have ordered more, I'm not even joking. Now we also ordered parcha and guava homemade juices to go. Nothing completes a meal without a sweet pucker of juice. This wasn't just lunch or dinner. It was an experience. If you're craving authentic Puerto Rican food made with love, this is it. We didn't just find a café we found a little piece of the island right here in Virginia. Thank you for the amazing experience, from a Panamanian and Scotsman. We will definitely be returning.

It was our first time here and we couldn't decide what we wanted. After drooling over the plates that went by, we asked the owner to help us narrow down our options. We asked for a sample of the Sancocho soup and that's when we found out they make everything to order - including the soup! His wife went into the kitchen and whipped up a sample of the soup ... we didn't mind the wait for the sample as we knew she was working her magic! It did not disappoint. We ordered a large soup to go! It'll be cold later this week and this will be perfect in the rainy weather. Main Dish: it's safe to say that I'm not the best judge when it comes to what makes a great Mofongo. But, having indulged in Mofongo from a local spot in Puerto Rico, I have a little understanding of which flavor profiles must be in the dish. This dish, had those profiles!!!!! It was so delicious and too good to not finish off-ate all of it LOL. The shrimp on top was also a winner, perfectly prepared and well seasoned. No dessert at the end just lots of laughs and good vibes. But overall everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dishes and the variety of options on the menu. It was safe for vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, and the meat eaters. We all enjoyed! Note that they are good at keeping groups on time with table use so FYI in case you want to support but have late folks who like to stroll in at odd hours. Best to keep your party on time!!!
