Need breakfast, snacks, gas, or fuel for your mower or camper? Apparently this is your stop. We visited while in town from Florida seeing family, and two locals in our group specifically recommended it. Even they commented that service was unusually slow that morning and apologized on behalf of the restaurant because apparently this wasn't the norm. It took about 10 minutes for someone to greet us and take drink orders, and probably another 30 minutes for food to arrive. Thankfully, the staff was very friendly throughout the experience. The food itself was delicious. The pancakes were massive -- literally the size of an adult's head -- fluffy, sweet, buttery, and almost tasted lightly fried around the edges in the best possible way with that little bit of crisp texture. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and I appreciated that the bacon was clearly made to each person's preference since some in our group ordered extra crispy while others preferred traditional-style bacon. Not a fancy place by any means, but definitely one of those local spots that feels woven into the community.

My absolute favorite thing in the store was the selection of hats -- especially the hilarious animal hats with ears that pop up and down when you squeeze the dangling paws. They were adorable little girls hats. I was thankful for my great-nephews because if I had great-nieces, we would have spent way more money in this store than intended LOL. Beyond the hats, they had a little bit of everything: old-school candy, toys, snacks, sandwiches, souvenirs, and Blue Bell Ice Cream. It definitely has that classic small-town variety store feel that's becoming harder and harder to find. One of our Arkansas family members treated us to ice cream, and mine was delicious. I went with strawberry in a waffle cone while my daughter chose cherry vanilla. One thing I found both funny and interesting -- all the cone options were the same price. The larger waffle cone cost the same as the smaller sugar cone, which means...obviously go big if you can because you can fit way more ice cream in it for the same cost. Cute little stop with personality, nostalgia, and some genuinely unique finds.

It seems like that they have a lot more dining space too. I don't know if we really ever been charged extra for any condiments, I know that when we asked for extra butter or something like that we have received plenty of it. When I had a food choice dilemma, the server usually would give me both if it was a small order of something at no extra cost. They always go the extra mile to satisfy us. Today we even paid for an elderly couple's bill, and slid out the door without them knowing about their bill being take care of by us. Hopefully it made their day. We can't afford to do that often, but if we see a Veteran or an elderly couple, just our way of thanking them without them knowing who did it. But we love the new location and as always tip the staff well when they do good.

She gave us her recommendations but we both were hungry for a hamburger. It was great. Fries and okra were too. Restaurant was clean. Bathroom was clean. They had extra fans blowing everywhere, so it was nice and cool. Plenty of parking. Place is alittle off the beaten path but with the extra time for a nice relaxing lunch! And support locals!

This definitely checked the box for atmosphere. The space is cute and welcoming with a mix of tables for working, couches for relaxing, and little boutique-style shopping areas along the walls with clothing, gifts, jewelry, books, and more. It was quiet during our visit aside from one family with small children, which made it a nice spot to sit and chat. I ordered an iced caramel latte, my daughter got a soda (served in the can with a cup of ice), and pricing felt comparable to Starbucks or Dunkin -- which I don't mind at all when supporting a local business. Unfortunately, the biggest downside was noticing flies inside the covered container with the beignets/donut holes. I understand bugs happen, especially in smaller towns and warmer weather, but it immediately turned us off from ordering any snacks or food items. The latte itself was just OK, nothing especially memorable. That said, I would still come back if I needed a comfortable place to sit and work, read, or visit with friends. The atmosphere was honestly the highlight for me.

The pancakes were great, my banana pancakes had a lot of banana. They are hearty pancakes! AND you get toast with an egg combo, so our little 2 top was swimming in delicious breakfast food. The coffee was a perfect diner blend, served with a little mini pitcher of cream which felt like a nice touch, as did the serving apple butter and jelly in a little dish. There was a wait on a Saturday morning but it wasn't terrible, like 45 minutes. When we got in the staff were working their tails off and our server was amazing. It's a small establishment and a little loud, but don't let that stop you from having an amazing breakfast.
