I USED to give this dump of an excuse for a gas station and convenience [IF you wanna call it that...!!!] store FIVE , but NOW, as of 06. January, 2026, 12:15 pm MST, I will only give it the "obligatory ONE , for the following reasons: I've had dealings with this specific Terrible's since 2017, when I first started coming to BHC for the autumn and winter seasons. Up until the time above, I'd NEVER had ANY negative experiences with this establishment. So, here we go-- 1.) Since 2022, I've been on Terrible's monthly unlimited car washes installment plans. Part of the plan I subscribe to, includes a complimentary 32 oz soft drink. Now the staff at the car wash are VERY FRIENDLY, like we've known each other for, like...forever. HOWEVER, when it comes to the "other half of the business", it's like "the luck of the draw": either you WILL or you WON''T get a friendly employee on your visit... 2.) This particular day, I was spending the day with a fellow military veteran, who I also sponsor when it comes to alcohol abuse recovery. We had just gotten through wiping down/drying his truck after going through the car wash. He went in to get his free 32oz soft drink. The cashier... 3.) ...as I said, the cashier-- --Female, --Brownish brunette hair, --5' 6-7", --Caucasian, --NOT very attractive-looking (looked like she was either going through withdrawal or mad because she didn't get her fix of this or that synthetic drug, whatever, --Grabbed the receipt from his hand VERY rudely, --Using a very rude tone, she told my "brother", "sodas only!!!", when he's normally allowed to have this slushee drink he usually likes (so he just got something else to drink ) & finally... --When he tried to be nice/civilized, saying, "Thank you", this BITCH of a cashier neither made eye contact OR acknowledged his courteousness.... It's not like he was asking her out on a date or anything (I mean, if I looked OR sounded as pathetic as this cashier, I'd be ashamed to be even go out in public!!!). &...oh yeah... 4.) We got my "brother" back home, because he was too upset to wanna go anywhere else. I tried calling the store, but APPARENTLY, the employee in question is too much of a COWARD to pick up the phone like ANY mature, professional employee would do!!!!!! My advice to management: Fire this BITCHY, crappy employee at your earliest, possible convenience. Because, now that I know what kinda TRASHY people you have working for your establishment, I will never... ...ever... ...Ever... ...EVER...but ANYTHING from YOUR trash dump of a store EVER AGAIN!!! Oh, I'll continue to have dealings with the car wash, and getting my free 32oz beverage, BUT... As gas as "2-for$4" heat lamp hot dogs , stale Krispy Kreme donuts , shelf junk food, etc., Etc., ETC... Never...AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the 3rd and last time for the car wash. First time manager said it was because I did the $17 instead of $20 wash. This has gone down hill over the last year, never had issues before. Have done $20 two times ask them to brush behind the tire on the back of the jeep, they say got ya then never do it. I'll wait til I go to Vegas and use Fabulous Freddie's! read more

just left this place A. THE GUY MADE ME FEEL SOOO UNBELIEVABLY UNCOMFORTABLE. B. he was rude as hell, its 11:10pm no one is in the parking lot so my husband had dropped me off at the front door since i was running in for a water and thats it as i get to the counter the guy looks at me all weird and keeps looking at me no words exchanged and then he says you okay like i was the one who had a problem or something then he proceeded to say very rudely theres a big sign right when you walk in on the ground that says no parking i said oh he pulled up because we werent sure if you guys were open or not cause it looked closed then he said again with a attitude uhm 24hrs i didnt say anything and left. read more

Went to get truck washed on 3/1/26. Everything was going well untill the car in front of us got stuck somehow. Machine was turned off and we sat there for a bit.. Finally, it was decided to back us up the same way we came in. By doing that, the equipment broke our bug guard. Not a single employee mentioned it to us as they guided us out. We noticed it when we got home about two hours later. We called them to tell them what happened. They remembered us and then stated that a sign was posted about not responsible for damage to vehicles. Mind you we have been there before and nothing happened to the vehicle. After explaining this to them and writing an email to corporate they stuck to the posted sign. Given the fact that the person in front of us was the cause of everything and the EMPLOYEES of the car wash directed us to back and DID NOT MENTION that the bug guard was broken as we left, iTHAT WAS irresponsible of them. I hope they loose a lot of business besides ours . Rotten service for sure. Horrible place. Make it right. read more

We needed fuel and stopped here because of the car wash. Fuel was a very good price. The small convenience store had a good selection of beverages and snacks. The car wash was above average with free vacuum. This is a great place to get fuel, a car wash, use restroom and get a cold drink. All of the employees were friendly. read more

The top manager who's in early mornings is absolutely ROTTEN and makes most everyone uncomfortable. She can't crack a smile or even attempt to be polite. Their register was struggling to give me cash back this morning- and we assumpted is my card, plus i was the only customer dealing with the register employee so i dilly dallyed trying to make it work for a minute or two, until i heard her grunting like a territorial male burro behind me and noticed the employees uncomfrtability. Turns out she had decided to stand in line FAR behind me with two waters for purchase and when i politely smiled and apologized and announced i had no idea anyone was waiting she basically rolled her eyes at me- no concern about their registers issue- no niceties telling me not to worry about it. To be honest I'd have thunk she would have jumped to check out the issues or at least acted as confused as the lot of us were. But nope- the TRUNCHABLE held her unsatisfied ground and acted as if she had somewhere to be with her water purchase AWFUL! Get better management- every other employee there is AMAZING read more

The car wash assistant mgr "Abraham" is the most unprofessional man I have ever encountered. Went to get a car wash with my ticket. 3 employees in the booth, drove slowly, then entered the car wash area and waited for an attendant....BAM... this guy comes at me like a madman yelling, screaming, I told him relax slow down you do not need to yell. He yelled back an Sid it was noisy that's why he was yelling and that I purposely did not stop, why didn't you stop,oh you think you didn't need to stop.everyone must stop we have a cone an orange cone that says to stop,,,, this guy was so angry....so I said fine here's my ticket... I just had the most incredible oil change experience during COVID. 3 or 4 young men all with masks perfectly executed oil change. I felt so safe during the procedure...much safer than I would have been at dealership, for sure. You stay in your car for oil change and payment. I stressed over oil change all night and really didn't need to. Thank you Terribles in Bullhead City, Az. Love you guys...you were awesome and I felt so safe!!! read more

On Monday 12/4/23, we stopped in to fill up. Since I use Terribles stations when we go to Las Vegas, I knew that they offered free coffee with a gas purchase. Just to be sure, I went inside to ask if they did the same. The two female employees were talking, and I felt that I was actually bothering them when I asked. They confirmed (after a snarky "no" joke) that the coffee was free, so I asked if I could get the coffee before going back outside to pump the gas. The clerk behind the counter stated that I needed to pump first and then come back in for the coffee. While I felt that was rude, I went out and filled up the car. Then, when I went back inside to get the coffee, the other employee actually watched as I walked back to the coffee area and yelled, "you can only get a small". I almost just walked out without the coffee because of their very unprofessional and unfriendly behavior. We travel to Laughlin at least one time each month, and always fill up in Bullhead City. I will never do business there again!!! read more

EXCELLENT customer service from Robert this morning. I just needed my oil and fluids checked. I moved from Colorado and am not used to this heat and was concerned about my fluid levels. He took care of me and was so kind and friendly. I will be coming back for all of my oil changes! read more

Received a drive through oil change here and they did a great job. Robert the attestant manager was who helped me. He was assisting all of his coworkers. He was directing traffic and helping the line of cars move smoothly. You can tell that he takes his job seriously. He was very professional. Great Job!! read more

This gas station is the worst. No pumps are working, the card reader doesn't work. No one was helpful or friendly.

Stopped for gas at this busy location. Decent enough, and prices comparable with other locations. Stalls are really high, so large vehicles should fit with little worry. My one star is because of the bathroom of all things. There is one toilet. Sign says you must ask attendant for key, but I was told that if it is locked, then someone is in there. The bathroom was large, and was well stocked with paper, soap, etc. My problem is with how nasty it looked. It reminded me of those long ago gas station bathrooms out at the side or back of the building that you did need a key to get inside. The type where you paper the toilet seat like crazy, and then hover above it anyway as you are afraid of anything coming in contact with your skin. It wasn't necessarily gross, but I don't think this room has ever been deep cleaned or updated since the place opened. It needs some serious TLC before I ever consider going back to this place. Next time in town, I will just keep driving right past this place. read more

KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!!!!!!!! Went to get my re-wash today. They say "no receipt" is necessary to have your car re-wash because they put in your license plate. My husband took the car in for the first wash and I took it back. The guy ask me if I had a receipt. When I said "no" he "looked up" the plate. He said that my husband paid for the $11 wash and it was non eligible for a re-wash. I looked up my bank statement and my husband DID pay for the $15 wash and it WAS eligible! Not sure if they scam everyone w/o receipt or the fact that my truck has CA plates right now. read more

Do not go here. Not only did they leave the cap off my oil and it spewed all over the engine, they also did not screw on oil filter and i had a massive leak problem that ended in damage costing me $750 to repair. When i called to complain the guy could care less. I didnt even get an apology. Whish i never went to them. read more

Fairly standard convenience store/gas station. They are stocked with the basics and have a customer bathroom.

Slowest Diesel pump in the west. $.40 a gallon higher then fast drip down the street.

From out of town...stopped here to get Gas. No receipt given...Now we know why. Got our account statement and found not only the gas charge BUT an additional 340.00 taken out for an international travel company. Guess the people put a card thingy in the slot and it recorded our card number and pin number too! No wonder the office attendents were watching us leave. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

I asked the lead guy if the took fleet mgt cards and he said sure...half way through the oil change he says I have to pay with a credit card or they won't release my company truck. So...I had to pay out of pocket and wait to get reimbursed from my company. Duurrrr...I'll go find a Jiffy Lube next time. read more

I was going to change my oil, but wasn't looking forward to laying under my car when it's 110. I stopped in at Terribles and got my oil changed in about 5 minutes, while I watched from inside with AC. Great job, reasonable price. read more

Well, I didn't have time to get that oil change before going to Laughlin. The reminder keeps popping up on my Navigation. So, I'm not in the mood to gamble in the morning, so i decide to find a place to get an oil change so off I went across the river to Bullhead City (AZ). I ran across Terrible Herbst. The guys greeted you nicely and were professional. Like most oil change outfits, they made suggestions, like transmission fluid change and differential fluid change. I told them no, and without a look or question, they continued and finished their service. The bonus was a free car wash, Wow, you don't get that at home. It's not the cheap ($26), but they did a good job and were professionals. read more

I went here for a basic oil change. They were very fast and friends, and also accommodated the fact that I had my kid with me and pull my tuck out front for me instead of out back. Just so it'd be easier for me. Little things like that make my life so much easier as a parent and I really appreciated that from them. read more

I went in for a car wash at the Bullhead City location. I had a bike rack on the back and I'm from out of town. Due to the way the car wash works, it could be detrimental to the car or the wash to go through. Raymond and team took the time to take the rack off, let me go through the wash, and then put it back on. Terrific customer service and sure helped me out! read more

Buyer beware! I went there for an $8.00 car wash only. I used my ATM debit card. The next day I had 9 other different charges on my account totaling $579 from an online business. I know my card got compromised at this gas station. I never use this debit card because it is a business account I mainly only write checks from. Never again will I do business here! read more
