That's cheaper than the gas we got in Los Angeles where we filled up before our trip to Laughlin. Before the drive to Bearizona, I went to Terrible's near the Aquarius Hotel. It was solely for convenience this early in the morning. Access was easy. The price is not. If I had more time, I'd have gone across to Bullhead City and pay Arizona prices which are much more friendly than along Casino Drive. I walked here from the casino with my husband to get a quick bite to eat. As we were trying to order a subway sandwich, SASHA the girl that works the main cashier in the gas station told us "I suggest you hurry and pay for your drink before I close, if your gonna order a sandwich" with a very bad attitude. Confused, my husband questioned why? What's going on? Why do I have to pay so fast? She then proceeds to raise her voice very loudly and says, "I'm gonna close!" Order your sandwich. Mind you, we have been patiently waiting for a person in front of us to order his sandwich. She then comes near us and starts talking under her breath saying "I don't know what the fuck these people don't understand". I then asked her why are you talking in that manner to her customers and if she does not like her job to find another one. She then says "get the fuck out my store" I asked her for her managers name, she did not want to give it to me, she had said "my managers way worse than me she's not gonna give a fuck, I can say and do whatever the fuck I want" These are the kind of people who are put in a position that gives them a lil power to run a store then takes it to extreme levels of disrespect, and very unprofessional customer service. I felt extremely uncomfortable being around her. Also, as she was standing outside she was talking to two men who were asking her sexually explicit questions and she was mentioning how she is married, has a boyfriend and her boyfriend has a girlfriend, again being extremely loud, where all the customers walking in can hear her personal life. I want to thank the subway employee Kelly inside the store for calming the waters and noticed how uncomfortable I was. In a very professional manner, he showed very great customer service. Not only taking notice, calming the waters, making me feel comfortable and being in a "GOOD" mood. This guy deserves a raise dealing with someone in that work environment. read more

If you are walking over from either Aquarius or Edgewater watch out for shady people - even inside they come when it's 110 outside- one old guy came in singing loud - the 2 at the front counter didn't tell him to tone it down- the remodel looks nice inside... but again be safe when journeying there! read more

Absolute worst energy and customer experience. The employees seemed to be in "terrible" moods with "terrible" attitudes. Maybe that's part of the name? Avoid going here if you're headed to the casino after. Don't lose your good energy from these soul suckers. read more

Terrible is the perfect name for this station. Gas's is way over priced at $4.99 gal when 2 miles away it's $3.39 and $3.49 gal and Sam's club is $2.75 I stopped in to get drinks and use the restroom and half way there the night clerk yells out the bathroom is closed employees only. So they have nothing for their customers to use. I've been to Terrible stations before and they have always been polite and helpful but this one was RUDE and dirty with attitude! read more

So I'm on a road trip with some friends on our motorcycles and i discover my tire are slightly low on air. I pull into the Terrible Herbst gas station on Casino Road to find their Air Compressor costs $1.50 to use. I walk into the store and ask the lady in the office who tells me the compressor does t even work. Luckily she directed me to a station down the road who had an air compressor. You think with all of the money and marketing Terrible Herbst does with off road racing, off road tires promoting tires that they would provide a decent compressor for their customers to use at their station. Not to consider a majority of TH customers are traveling on the road and to help them make their vehicle as safe as can be. Whoever is in charge of TH you should really consider providing compressed air for your customers and not charging $ for it. read more

As I do nearly every week after my bowling league, I stop in at the 2010 S Casino Dr, Laughlin, NV store for a soda. I park at the pumps, as always, never had an issue all the years I`ve done this. Today was different. As I exited my vehicle, I was "greeted" away from the entrance by a heavy set woman whom I had not seen before. She may have been the store manager, or even higher up. She asked if I was getting gas, I responded no. Continued jawing that I was "blocking the pumps", even though no one else was in that lane, and only one other customer in the adjacent one. I stated I was just running in for a minute to get a soda, and proceeded. As soon as I got to the register, there she was was waiting for me. Told me to purchase a soda elsewhere, and to "get out of my store". I admit to saying a few choice words as I was attempting to leave. That should have been the end of it, but it wasn`t. An older employee, tall and slim, asked me if I wanted to "take it outside", and to get the hell out of the store, to never come back. Management confronting customers over trivial matters, unprofessional, and abhorrent. read more

Micheal is very rude. They will not even give you change for the air machine in there gas station. I had a flat and had to walk to the other gas station for change because Micheal can't spare$1 in quarters from his drawer. He has it but said no. I'm hot it's 100 degrees outside. I could faint but Micheal could care less. I hate this place and will never be back read more

I never bought gas here since I knew AZ prices were better, but I used to work across the street at Nevada Made and would come into the store a few times a week. One day I didn't have enough for my drink and the workers paid for my drink and offered me more. It was the first time anyone showed kindness, even though I know they may have thought I could score them deals. After that I was thrilled to see them come across the street. They were always nice to me from then on out. read more

My verdict on terrible herbst: not terrible. I didn't encounter any rude employees. People at the counter were super nice. Tall can prices were reasonable. They have a bunch of video poker machines. I didn't play them, since there's like 8 real casinos within a 1/2 mile radius. Anyway the terrible herbst cartoon character guy is kinda funny. He's like a Yosemite sam looking dude but with a gasoline nozzle instead of a six-shooter. read more

I went to fill up on gas then go inside and buy drinks and snacks. I asked to use the restroom, and the young white guy with spiky hair and tattoos said "uuuummmmm, it's out of order because so many customers use it and they used up all the toilet paper and stuff and it's inconviencoence for me to go to the back and continue to restock" then he said "geeze I. Getting one customer after another, I been trying to go outside for a cigarette but you customers keep coming in". Eh, it's a gas station. Prices are higher since you're on Casino Drive. You could save yourself about 40-50 cents a gallon by driving 3-4 miles over the bridge to Bullhead City Arizona. Nothing too special about this place - Gas pumps worked well, easy access to and from the road. Hard to get to Edgewater from the gas station since there is a median on Bruce Woodbury Drive that does not allow U-Turns. We tried pumping some air in our tires but the cord for the air pump was missing the actual pump, it was just a hose. So no go on the air. Terrible's ain't Terrible, but it ain't anything special. read more

Gas prices are really high. They are similar to what we pay in Las Vegas. Go across the bridge and prices are way lower. It is only a short drive and well worth the trip. The inside and parking lot seem dirty and the line to check out in the store was ridiculously slow. The employees either need to pick up the pace or be trained better. read more

Was at this Terrible Herbst/Chevron March 31st around 10am. The shift manager on duty was really rude. I didnt catch her name but she was the fat one with her shirt half way untucked and a mullet. When we first walked in she was hollering across the store to an employee. Professional much? No! I didnt think anything of it until she did something to tick me off. Im standing in front of a small fridge that sits on top of the counter looking for a snack for my drive home to Las Vegas. She is standing directly behind me, Hands on her "hips" and gave that loud "sigh" noise like I was in her way. I said to her 'Im sorry. Did you have a problem with me standing here?' She said 'relax I was just waiting patiently'.. Mind you my wife was watching her the entire time. So I said 'the noise you made and your body language said otherwise.' She proceeds to argue with me and more words are exchanged.. So I just decided to leave all the items I grabbed and left them on the counter. I called her a rude store manager and left. While I was walking out she said 'Good! Get the F#ck out if here!' Lucky enough I just left. Called Chevron Corp and filed a complaint. Never thought I would be treated so poorly at a convenient store.. I hope she gets whats coming to her for being so rude to customers.
