This place definitely deserves a 5+ rating. We had a tire that was slowly leaking air ... very slowly but had been lucky enough to get it from Vidal Junction with a major flat. When we asked about getting it fixed, he indicated right away. It was right away. It was super fast. One other comment on this location is about the restroom. It absolutely has be the cleanest I have ever seen in a service station or fast food place. It even smelled clean. read more

On a road trip from CA to NC. We pulled into the station and Johnny noticed a low tire on our trailer. As it turns out we had bigger problems. He took the time to point out and explain the issue. The parts were so worn that we would have lost the leaf springs on our trailer if not for his keen eye and concern for his fellow person. The parts were in stock. After our tire blew out, we were blown away (pun intended) at the amazing service at East Side Service Center. We were expecting our tire issue to delay our trip significantly, but were pleasantly surprised to be in and out with a new tire within about 30 minutes. Everyone we encountered was super friendly, even offering us seats inside the garage and turning the fan towards us and our dog on this 115 degree day. (I believe Tanner was the gentleman who helped us.) We drove away remarking how we have never had that great of service ANYWHERE. We are so so grateful to East Side Service Center! read more

I can't say enough about the help I got from these guys. Towing a 5th wheel and had trouble. The Mgr Ralph drove to my location(nearby) where I was down. Helped us get our rig towed to his service shop and offered to let us plug in to their 50 amp power and water while his mechanic correctly diagnosed the problem(s) with my truck, and did the major repair work on the rear axle, bearing and brake rotor. It took a day to get the parts and another day to complete repairs, so we were stuck in Needles for three days but they got us back on the road as soon as they could. It wasn't particularly cheap to get going again, however, I didn't expect it to be considering where we were(Needles CA), but it was fair and the help they gave us almost made up for the time, money, and inconvenience, AND, it could have been a LOT worse! Anyway. Should you find yourself with any mech or tire problems(they have mobile commercial tire service also), these guys are a step above. Highly recommended. One final note, make sure you carry a good roadside towing policy because getting anything towed here in and around Needles is EXPENSIVE!! read more

While traveling through Needles, California we stopped overnight at a KOA (Kampgrounds of America). In the morning we notice one of our tires was low. Our RV had a flat tire. Mobile gas station recommended that we go to East Side Service Center Truck & Auto Repair (adjacent to Shell gas). Ralph took such good care of us. He was so polite. He found the screw we had run over. Then checked all tires to make sure the pressure was correct. Julie who worked inside the Shell gas (part) made us feel at ease with a smile. They have fresh local honey and all kinds of fresh snacks. You can bit we'll be back for a visit to say hello next time we're in the area and you should too. Was not able to find my part or help me with my needs. After several texts and call backs, I decided to go with another shop that got all my info from me right the first time. Besides I was strongly suggested by the guy at the gas station where I was stranded not to deal with Jason, on account he burned him in the past on a tranny job. My problem worked itself out to the tune of 150.00 cheaper than this placed wanted to charge me. And I gave you the Vin # 3 times, and you still couldn't get it right. Can't say enough good about this shop and their staff. We were towing our new tractor home and started getting a very hot hub on the trailer. We were over 600 miles from home and felt stranded. They got us right in and Ralph pulled apart the hub, everything checked out ok but the brake was dragging creating the excessive heat. He made the adjustment and in no time we were back on the road and made it home with no issues. The price was super fair, the entire staff was great! Thanks for all your help. read more

On vacation in AZ from Michigan. On our way to Oatman we ran over what turned out to be a large spring which punctured our tire. Contacted East Side Service and they were on site quickly. They are the Service that saved my Xmas. Something busted both of our passenger side tires. Our road service person decided our best bet was to have Jason & his crew saves us. We were a long way from anything. They called often keeping us up to date on their arrival. Once there the Mechanic kept us up to date as he put on the new tires and made sure there was no leak since the rim was dented too. He told us we could go on into Needles to have them balanced. We did so and everyone there was so kind especially to my 89-year-old Mom. I'm glad someone choose to have a 24hr business in what we always called the desert. The employees are all so kind too. My 1995 camper van broke down on I40 and AAA towed me to East side service unannounced. Jason said no problem and they dropped it in back. He Immediately knew it was the alternator, etc. They were ordered but it took a few days to get here. Jason is very RV friendly and understanding of older peoples needs. Had a complete blow out On my way back to vegas called ahead to check my tire size before getting it towed there & the person on the phone was very helpful. Once arrived they remembered what i needed and got to work straight away . Even though it felt like pendejo johnny took hours to change the flat in that heat i was taken care of & headed back home safely. Price was great for almost new condition ended up getting the 2 tires in stock instead of just 1 i needed. Clean restrooms was also a plus. read more
