My car wouldn't start this morning so I went to AutoZone and had my battery tested and they told me that the car battery is bad so I called my girlfriend and I told her what should I do and she told me buy a new battery so I decided to come here and got my battery for $300 out the door That's really good. The service I requested was fast and easy to change my battery. It only took 15 minutes. That's really awesome and now the car is running good and now I can see my mom in the coming days without worrying about the car not starting. read more

I've had my vehicles serviced here at my hometown Big O for over 35 years. When I was in school, my parents brought my car here, along with theirs...and then all through my college years. During that time, Billy took absolutely excellent care of my beloved Nissan pickup, and when I purchased my first vehicle, there was no one else I'd trust to maintain it. Four vehicles later, Billy's son Roland is just as great at the effort. I brought my truck in to have some work done on my wheels bearings and immediately the manager was acting like I was ruining his day. After the truck was off the tow truck he disappeared for 20 minutes while I was waiting to get the paperwork done so I could get out of there. The entire time we are doing paperwork he just walks off multiple times for several minutes at a time to do who knows what. Terrible service and horrible attitude. Great customer service and had the tires I needed in July for our boat trailer (5 tires). Well one of the tires has been leaking and we have been filing with air for a couple of months during boat season. Couldn't find a obvious problem. Just went out to find flat...my husband removed and decided to take back to Big O where we bought to have checked out. There was no obvious puncture. Air was leaking from side wall. There was bubbles on tire and obvious issues with the tire itself, so was a defective tire. The service man said, awww you must of scraped it. Ummm haha there was no scrapes on lettering or nothing. Was leaking by the lettering little pin holes. They refused to replace it. Sad that they had no good faith thought to just replace the tire since it was only 4 months old. So off my husband went, he surely was not going to buy a new tire from them! read more

I'm only giving stars because their employee Roland was fantastic and nice! The manager here was super unfriendly and downright rude to us when we came in last weekend. We came in with a flat tire and wanted to see if it could be repaired. Roland starting checking where the hole was (thank you Roland!) while the manager glanced over, scoffed and said "well that tire's no good" uhhh ok??? Didn't do anything about it but walk away. Roland kept helping us to figure out if our tire was fixable or not, while the manager was busy talking to what seemed like one of his friends who had just come in. Which is fine, but when he DID come by to check it out, he mumbled something. So my mom tried to ask him a question to clarify and he flat out IGNORED her and walked away. Absolutely ridiculous! Zero stars, took my car in for an alignment and they would not pull it on the rack because I didn't know if it would start again, the car sat for months and may need a jumpstart after turning it off. So they charged me a little under $150 for a cheap ass battery, pull it on the rack and guy tells me I need to replace the steering rack bushing, it's 4 hours labor plus it's a dealer part, and the tie rod end was wiggling. So they wanted $700 to do this job they are trying to sell me. I left and called honda, the part does not exist. I needed a tie rod end and that's it don't go here none of these ppl are not knowledgable but will sell you everything you don't need wow wtf I'm going to superior tire next time 10 extra miles is well worth it. read more

ZERO CUSTOMER EMPATHY...EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! Big O Tires in Needles missed an opportunity to deliver and do their job yesterday. Had a flat tire 80 miles west of Needles and then the spare blew 8 miles from Needles, CA. It was 110+ outside and I requested roadside service to deliver me to Big O as I have always given them our biz. (I do understand that they are franchises) Big O employee advised us that they couldn't replace my tire as they close at 5pm. It was 4:25! This was one tire on a small Hyundai! You're a tire shop off of an Interstate. I strongly recommend you reconsider your philosophy on customer service! I spoke with the manager today prior to posting. He advised me that he had 3 vehicle in front of me. I then stated I would of been happy to sit around and wait. He then stated he couldn't keep his guys around when it's that hot. Really? How you think I felt being stranded in triple digit temps? Poor decision making! read more

My buddy was on his way to Colorado with my trailer. He had two blow outs and was forced to get new tires at this big O. Well my friend didn't know I had warranties with America's tire company and left the damaged tires. I called the guy manager on duty about 45 minutes after my friend left to save the tires so my buddy could pick them up on the way back in four days. From the beginning of this request he immediately started saying things like "oh, I don't know, it'll take up room" and "they might get thrown out". So he says he will try. I call back four days later and he tells me that the "weekend guys" must have thrown out the tires. Terrible terrible service. I'm pretty sure he didn't even try. I got off the freeway and my brakes are metal on metal I pulled into big O tires. They replaced my brakes on my 2011 Ford F-150 in about 30 minutes including two new rotors. The staff was professional and friendly. Sometimes when you're in the middle of nowhere you get concerned that you're going to get taken. They had a special going on and gave me the discount even though I did not know about it. We had a blow out on our 5th wheel so we popped in to get our spare replaced. We called ahead to make sure they had our tire in stock and they did. An employee was walking by as we were getting out of our truck. She saw our kids and small dog and welcomed all of us, even our dog into their store. They had a tv and toys to entertain the kids and were all extremely friendly. They even offered to get my dog some water. We were promptly helped and their prices were reasonable. We realized when we stopped for lunch that the trailer tires were bald. One was so bald in one spot the belt was showing. We were about a hour outside of Needles. Called Big O to see if they had the tires (didn't know the exact size) and they gave us a rough estimate on the tires. We arrived at Big O at 3pm and pulled out of the lot with 4 new tires at 3:15pm. When our catalytic converter went out on our 17- year old vehicle in Needles (where it was 122 degrees) Bill diagnosed our problem and tried to fix it in a timely manner, and was honest about the time and cost to put in a new one. We chose to leave it there and rent a car to get home. Bill helped us find a ride to the rental place 40 miles away and agreed to hold our car at no charge till we could tow it away. Every person in Needles was friendly and helpful from the motel staff to the convenience store workers to the CofC president who gave us a ride to the rental car place.
