I contracted with terrell in January of 2023 and till this day has not completed, my pool has never had a final inspection done, never pulled the permits. liner is hanging in spots, soft spots in the bottom of the pool. never even shown how to use any of the equipment. had more excuses than anything. read more

We hired Terrell to build our pool. A year later, it has still NOT passed inspection. He is very hard to get a hold of, which is unprofessional (especially when payment has been received). When he DOES finally accept a call or a text, he claims that he will get the job done, yet no time or date is ever confirmed. We have been patient for a long time. He does build a nice pool. But the journey was mentally draining and frustrating when he didn't communicate with us. His crew left trash and spare equipment around the yard. He hasn't walked us through how to use the pool equipment/app. We were left to test our own water at startup. He hasn't even seen the final product of the pool we paid for. The only times he physically came were to receive payments. If you still want to do business with Terrell's Pools after reading this review, you will need a lot of patience, and don't be hasty to schedule time away from your job to oversee your future pool because they most likely won't show up/on time. We tried to be understanding of his schedule, but perhaps his priorities need to be evaluated. Time management, communication, and following through are vital to a professional and respectable business. An update on this review will take place when the inspection is complete. read more

I wanted an above ground pool. They said there were very few out there but they did have one they would save for me. I called. No answer. I called. No answer. I called. I called. You get the idea. They never followed up. I wanted their business and pay for the pool and installation, but apparently they didn't need the money. It left me in the lurch waiting so long to get an answer that never came. read more

Typical trailer trash running a predatory business enterprise. Extremely unprofessional and over-priced for the service and quality received. Deceptive pricing practices.... all merchandise is located away from the customers and most of the merchandise does not have prices listed. Inconsistent pricing model, some people get over-charged excessively for the same product. Supremist attitude towards people of color, but don't mind collecting money from people of color. I arrived at the store Monday of last week to purchase chemicals. I took pictures of my water, which was green, and I was told that I needed 2 lbs. of shock to clear up a pool from an algae outbreak. I was talked into purchasing the 5Lb container of shock, because i was told that there was no 1 lb. bags of shock available. I arrived the next day to have my water retested, and I was told that I still had algae bloom even though my water was now light blue and cloudy. I was then told that I had to add at least 6 lbs. of more shock. I questioned the young white woman who was working as the cashier about why her advice about which chemicals to use was so drastically different from what I was told the previous day. She then proceeds to test the water with test strips. I told her that the test strips are not that accurate and give inconsistent results. I explained that the testing strip readings were subjective, and differed depending who was reading the test strip. For example if someone was colorblind, then they might see a color differently. I asked why they were no longer using the electronic testing on the water, and I was told that they couldn't get the disks to test the water. I told the cashier that it appeared like they were guessing, and selling customers unneeded chemicals, which would be good for their pocket, but not so good for the customer. The white lady got very upset, when I questioned her about her methods and motives. She told me that I could go somewhere else to shop. I reminded her that she was speaking to a paying customer, and that she was out of line. I told her that Terrell's is not the only pool supply store in Atlanta. And that she had piss-poor customer service skills. I felt disrespected that the lady thought she could talk to me any kind of way. I mean, you would think that the PWT meth-head would have had some type of humility. Nevertheless, I left the establishment with out spending one black dollar in her store. It baffles me that they are still open. Praying on people in the surrounding community in their plot to move all of their old and outdated merchandise. I DO NOT recommend that anyone visits their establishment. There is a better pool supply store on Bear Creek Road in Hampton, GA. Their service is top-notch and they go above and beyond to make sure that the customer is satisfied. read more

Has not yet returned my phone calls. We bought a pool from them about 5 years ago. We need a new liner.. My husband went and paid for it. We went Saturday in person to see when will they install it this year. I have called multiple times. Never can get them to call me back. Wished we didn't use them again !! We try to support Hampton. Never again. I want my money back or they need to install the liner we already paid for. The installer has not yet to try to call me !! I will never use them again. Well at first I thought they were going to be a good company. I messaged the company and got an immediate response from the owner. He gave me a quote and scheduled an appointment to come out to give me an estimate. I took time off work and waited... waited... and waited. They never showed up. I emailed the owner and he asked me for my cell number again. Then didn't respond. If you want business you need to provide people with customer service. If you can't respect my time and I can't count on your to show up, then you aren't worth having clients. read more

I called to ask if they service forest park, GA and was told that they go so far and then they will charge you more. Then I asked what is your radius or mileage limit? I was told to hold on. they lady came back and said "We don't service forest park, GA". I was expecting an answer to my question first: then the prices of what they would charge. I guess some people need to be re-educated on their listening skills and customer service! read more
