I also have to hand it to BJ who did the installations. We spread this project over 3 orders a couple weeks apart to take time figuring out what we needed. Each time, BJ was thorough, thoughtful, and fast. We have black windows throughout the house, which is new for us and made design selections a little trickier, but the results are outstanding. Wil and team went above and beyond to get the colors exactly right and ensure everything was measured and designed to spec for each window. There are way more decisions to make than you realize, so having someone knowledgeable to walk us through the options made all the difference. The results speak for themselves. I wish the photos did them justice! They're even better in person. We went with white 2-inch faux wood blinds (they look awesome with the black windows!), sheer black solar roller shades, and extra-large wood plantation shutters custom painted to match the window trim. They are stunning.

"Kind of odd" I thought to myself. I didn't think anything more about said water until I was in the kitchen when it was raining cats, dogs, and squirrels. I then realized water was somehow gushing out of a nail hole in my wall. You see this wall is below 2 very nice skylights. I knew those bad boys had something to do with it. I immediately jumped on the phone and called around to make some roofing appointments so that I could get quotes and see what the consensus was as well as pricing. 3 different contractors came out, all said it was due to the last roofing company not putting some sort of specialized tar stuff under the shingles that were close to the skylights as well as lack of flashing, and they all gave me prices. A friend of mine had recommended Wilson Roofing because they helped her with some of her rental properties. Mr. Wilson, the owner of the company, was the person who came out to meet me and check things out. He is a super nice guy. I can't say I would have picked them just because they had been recommended, but it helped. They were also helped by the fact that they came in as the cheapest quote by about $200 and Mr. Wilson noticed all the same issues as the other roofing companies. Once my decision was made, I made an appointment for them to do the work. They came out on the day work was scheduled and did an excellent job. I even had a friend who used to be in the construction industry get up on the roof and check things out. He said all looked good and I haven't had a leak since.

The problem was the single gate was not level and hangs at an angle. I will admit I did not notice this until the company had been paid in full and left the premises. I notified the fence company once I noticed the fence and sent them a picture of the single gate and asked them to please straighten it or we will discuss getting it replaced if that is what needs to be done. I have too small dogs I felt could get through the opening. I heard back from the fence company and they were very nice. They said they wanted me to be happy and would go over a solution to straighten the gate and would call me and we could discuss it. They never called me to discuss anything and It is clear they feel they are finished with the job. The mistake we made was paying in full for the job. If we had held back some money I am sure they would have come back to straighten the fence. So what we have learned from this experience is pay a deposit and give the balance at the end. We have learned our lesson.

The job…read moreconsisted of taking the old doors down, Painting the new doors I purchased from Lowe's (along with paint I purchased) putting the new painted doors up, along with taking light fixtures down and replacing them with new fixtures. The light fixtures were taken down with no problem and place where I wanted them. When it came to the doors he took down all the doors,however the doors he attempted to attach where NOT PAINTED , and PUT on wrong!!! The doors do not close!!! what kind of Handyman is this!!! The doors are rigged to appear nice however when you attempted to close the doors, you are unable to closed the doors. He also messed up one of my door frames attempting to shove a door that was to big into the frame. Now I must hire someone else to take down the doors, paint the doors, put the doors back up, and fix the out door frame that he damaged. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!!! There is no justification for what he has done. His response was typical of a non professional Person,,, Jackie, now let's unpack some of things you listed above in its entirety. We did quote you the $1900 for the installation of 10 prehung doors, 1 vanity, and 3 light fixtures as confirmed in our conversation within thumbtack. Never once in those discussions did you mention painting the doors. As we would have promptly explained we don't do painting unless it's very minimal. Secondly, we are in agreement the light fixtures were done without issue. Where your train seems to derail is in reference to the doors. You didn't want the help nor did you inform R3 to hault the work. As trying to still make it work for you we made adjustments the best way we could with what you provided. You approved the work after reviewing and even sent a text saying " The work looked great" and asked us to do more work for you so now all of the sudden we have done a terrible job?? Good day Jackie its unfortunate that things have gone this way but we decline to further work with you as well. We wish you the best! Also I forgot to mention, No vanity was installed. That was my fault I did not purchase it, so that would have gave him ample time to figure out where each door should have been place. Per Reesio "We not only asked to come measure the doors prior to your purchase but we also informed you that what you did buy was in fact TOO big." This never Happened. Please do not hire him!!! In reference to the text he received form me praising his work , was due to my sister walking through the house at night and saying the doors look great I took her word.I needed more work done ( painting a entire kitchen and living room) He mention he did minimal painting right.... He reached out and was going to take the Job!!!! ( But remember this man is not a painter) By that time I made it home and notice the horrible job he did I sent him a text and which with pictures of the work and expressed my dissatisfaction.

To my great delight, I found that Reco was also a skilled electrician and plumber which saved me time, money and effort and finding someone to handle those issues in the home as well. Without having to book another appointment (as his schedule allowed that day), Reco replaced a kitchen light, installed a garbage disposal, updated the plumbing under the kitchen sink and even repaired the cabinetry that decayed.
