Even though it wasn't included in the quote, he helped me paint the replacement vent covers. He called out some other things I would have never noticed, and helped me clean out my dryer duct, which was clogged with a birds nest and about a pound of lint! This is a very important thing to check, as a clogged dryer vent is a common cause of house fires! Hiring contractors will always cost money, and often times, people get consumed by cost.
