They were responsive to my request, provided a quote, and came out the next morning to complete the work. Tommy was prompt to arrive, assessed and confirmed the situation, and explained to me what was happening each step of the way. He's a man that is proud of his craft and trade, and does things right. Even though it wasn't included in the quote, he helped me paint the replacement vent covers. He called out some other things I would have never noticed, and helped me clean out my dryer duct, which was clogged with a birds nest and about a pound of lint! This is a very important thing to check, as a clogged dryer vent is a common cause of house fires! Hiring contractors will always cost money, and often times, people get consumed by cost. Well, people's time and their service cost money. Maybe you could save a few bucks here or there, but will the work be done right? Is the contractor rushing through your job to get to the next? Value isn't just a dollar figure; it's a function of a cocktail of things important to you. For me, that would be saving time, getting things done right, and relieving me of potential life threatening injuries. At that time we were told there would be a delay of 8-10 weeks because the siding was back ordered ( which was fine ) last week I decided to contact Heather just to follow up with an estimated date of delivery since it was getting close to said date . At that time Heather told me the material had just arrived and told me she would copy me on the email in which I responded " That would be great " . Moving forward to this week the material was delivered to my house Monday morning and my husband just called to discuss the material arriving to let her know where to place the material rather than it being sat in the middle of the driveway ( we wasn't at home to discuss with the driver ) her response was " you guys are Wiggin me out with all of these phone calls " ( 2 phone calls ) . Then on Tuesday received an email that she was no longer going to do the agreed work and that she would no longer speak with us because of the TWO phone calls we made . I then tried speaking To Heather professionally to let her know that she could pick up the material and asked for a full refund since she had decided they couldn't fulfill our agreement to only have her scream and yell at me and tell me that the material was non refundable and she pretty much didn't care to hear what I had to say.
