They left my driveway with huge gouges from the dumpster, and a big dent in the case of our brand new heating and air unit. When asked about the damage all I got was "Oh I'm sorry to hear about that." So too bad for me I guess. The siding guys were finishing up when I paid the owner and asked that they caulk around some of the siding with big gaps. He said "no problem"... took the money and his guys were gone before he was out of our culdesac. No caulking. I also had informed him that I was having more work done and needed access to the back yard (tree removal and privacy fence). It took nearly a week for me to get them to take their pallet of unused materials from blocking the way to the back yard, and just hours before the tree guys were scheduled to show up. The moral of the story = roof ok, any thing else go another way.

I signed a contract with John Canning to replace the roof and some windows. They then began to have problems with other sub contractors and the job went on for several months. I found inconsistent numbers in their billing. I asked John why the totals were more than the addends and his reply was they do that to cover any mistake their estimator makes. The 3 carbon monoxide roof vents were damaged and on the contract to replace. They were only painted to look new and not replaced. I asked Ed Rollins why they were not replaced and he replied, we made a mistake and used that $350 on the gutter guards. PGRS started the job in April and didn't complete it until October.
