A couple of days later Jaco sent Miguel Martinez out to look at our roof. He also tarped the roof for us in a spot that had allowed water to leak into the house, damaging the living room ceiling. The estimate was free. Miguel was an absolute godsend through the entire process, letting us know how to proceed with each step. Miguel came back when our insurance adjuster surveyed our roof. He was a great help in working with the adjustor to ensure all the damage was noted. Three hours later our insurance company said they would replace the entire roof and repair our living room ceiling that was also damaged. Jaco had a crew replace our roof within a couple of weeks, taking a single day to do so. A couple of weeks later another crew repaired our ceiling. That only took an hour and a half. Please note, Jaco wanted to do the work all in one day, but we had to shuffle our dogs in and out of the house. They were very understanding of that, too. "No problem." The work was outstanding. So was the customer service. I can't recommend them enough. Hope you get Miguel assigned to your project.

I had heard their ads on our local conservative radio show about their craftsmanship and customer service and it seemed they would be the perfect company for my home remodel... well sad to say the ads aren't what I experienced when contacting them to setup an appointment for a consultation. Spoke to a really nice lady on the phone and explained to her what we were looking to do to our home. She took down our contact information and stated that one of the home remodel salesmen would be in contact to setup an appointment. 30 days past and we heard nothing, so my wife reached out to see what was going on and was informed that the nice lady I originally talked to on the phone had forgot to forward our information to the remodeling department. She was very apologetic, so My wife and I thought well minor over site and wanted to move forward with Southern since they supposedly share our values. Within a few days we were contacted by one of their remodeling specialist and made an appointment with this associates 2 weeks out from our conversation. Appointment day arrives and well the associate was a no show for our consultation. My wife disappointed from the no show reached out to Southern to make sure we were scheduled for a consultation and she confirmed and said she would have the sales associate contact us directly. Their sales associate did reach out to me and was apologetic about missing the appointment stating that an emergency had risen on one of their other jobs and that he was happy to reschedule for another day. While we were appreciative of the call and explanation still doesn't excuse the lack of communication from a company who's ads state they pride themselves on their workmanship and customer experience... especially after my wife and I took off work in order to meet with Southern Exteriors associate. I spoke with the owner, Bobby Nevett and he requested for me to send him an email with photos. I emailed him the photos and never heard anything back. I called him a week later to follow up and inquire about him repairing the pipe booting as his warranty states and he hung up the phone. I was very surprised and thrilled when Keith was able to make it out to the house the same day. He never got on the roof, although it was wet that day so I understand, but he said that he had pegged the issue and would be able to have it fixed within a week. The explanation never quite made sense to me but I trusted that he knew what he was talking about. I followed up after a week when I hadn't heard back and was given a bit of a dismissive reply that it was wet that particular day so they couldn't do anything. I followed up again 2 weeks later when I still hadn't heard anything and didn't get a response until about a month later, but it was too late. In the meantime, I got a quote from another roofer who had gotten onto the roof and found out that there was a bullet that had gone through our roof about halfway up, which was causing the water leak problem. Keith's recommended fix wouldn't have fixed this issue, unfortunately. I guess it was a blessing in disguise that we were pretty much forgotten because we were able to get the issue fixed.
