I've been a Terracom wireless lifeline customer for about 3 years now. They provided good Lifeline phone service until they switched to the T-mobil network about 3 months ago. Since then the reception has been terrible in Nebraska. About a week and a half ago I switched to another company that provides Lifeline phone service. About 2 days after I submitted my application to the new company Terracom canceled my service. Unfortunately, I still haven't received my sim card from the new company so I've been without phone service for about a week. Even so I'm preparing to port over my phone number from Terracom to the new company. The one thing I don't have is my account number. Since I don't have phone service I've been emailing Terracom and requesting my acccount number. They haven't responded to any of my emails. My name is Dr. H. E. Sawyer, Jr. I currently live in NE Oklahoma, and was a Registered, and Certified LIFELINE customer, with this circus side-show, since the Spring of 2012. After three months of service, there was, with utterly NO explanation, a service cut-off, of 190,000 of Terracom's valuable customers, for THREE WEEKS. No explanation. No apology, nothing. Shortly after service was finally restored, I called their phony service contractor in the lovely, thriving post-occupied country of India, where they cannot even get their public transportation to run, and asked them a simple question : " If I request to have my service discontinued, how long would it take ? " The Rep said, " Oh, 24 to 48 hours... " FIFTEEN (15) MINUTES LATER, they shut my phone service, OFF. Get that, please. I borrowed a phone from a neighbor, and and called the Inbound customer service line, where they said, and I'll paraphrase, " Sorry. Can't restore you. " " What about my number ? ", I asked. " Sorry, when we cut you off, your number was trashed. " Lovely. So, Sports Fans, 350 contacts I had, NOW, had no way to contact me. Doctors, other professionals, my Fiancee' in Cutler Bay, Florida, my broker in Manhattan, NYC. My other friends and film-makers in Manhattan. Friends in Queens. Tulsa. Oklahoma City. Saint Louis. My Banks, here, and in Ohio. GONE. I tried to call the Terracom Corporate, in OKC, but, that's, of course, impossible, as you all may be impressed as to why : Terracom Wireless is about one-half step above a La Cosa Nostra money laundering outfit, like that phony Pizza place, the Southern District of New York busted, for Cosa Nostra crapola. This LIFELINE outfit was formed, like a loaf of garlic bread, by 4 (four) men from Guthrie, Oklahoma. who were seeking a way to sit on their ungrateful arses, and make (not earn) MILLIONS of dollars, on the broken backs of the poor, and sick, and helpless. The LIFELINE program, is a TAXPAYER driven program. And, the cheerful four, like GOTTI, CASTELLANO, and others, bought with my tax dollars and yours, huge homes in the Suburbs, big expensive cars, and interests in $25 MILLION DOLLAR Gulfstream Business Jets. Terracom has a Sister firm, called, " YOURTEL", that is a co-production, and a scam, also. On May 22, or 23, I ran out of minutes ; that had never happened before. I tried to buy some minutes, but got this seriously odd, "DECLINE" error. I was using my Cap One credit card accounts. I PLENTY of dough on my credit card accounts, to make a lousy $20 purchase. I got this DECLINE error, 5 times. I called the Service Contractor. The Rep was nice, and tried to assist me with making this $20 purchase. She received the exact same error. She said, finally, that their information, was, that Terracom's "Gateway" was DICLINING me; not my card.....ME, the customer. Why ? No explanation, except that you have to know, and understand the four criminals that put this whole scam together. THEN, you can dig, fully, this "Thing of theirs ", to borrow a Cosa Nostra term. After several rounds of e-mails to Robert Rowlen, Heather Russell ( their worse-than-phony "compliance officer " ), and their Chief of Internal Audits, I get an e-mail from Rowlen, that I am to be purged from the Customer rolls. THAT IS ILLEGAL. I am a United States Taxpayer, and have been one, for 51 years. I qualify on not one, but five levels of qualfications. I have successfully Re-Certified , SEVEN TIMES, after I received certification the FIRST time, in 2012. Robert Rowlen, Richard Yurich, Dale Schmick, are three of the "founders" of this con act. I'd be wholly remiss, if I didn't make you aware, of the TWO instances, where Commissioner of the FCC, Mignon Clyburn, and the Head of Investigations, dragged these happy con-men into a Maryland Federal Court, to face Federal Corruption Charges. Credible offer for the Emergency Broadband benefit program. This is a program where the government is finally helping people with low income or difficult circumstances to obtain a device which is better than the cheap devices people get for lifeline speaking of lifeline terracom Wireless gives the best lifeline phones I've seen. Recently A friend of mine got a dual SIM card phone which accepts SIM cards from other providers so a person could have two different providers on the same device at the same time. Back to the tablets they give for the ebb program they give tablets which sell for about $300. They are Galaxy Samsung sm-t307 tablets. 8.4 in. 2020 but unused when they give them to you. They also give you unlimited data. You don't pay for that because ebb pays $50 per month for your data plan. And terracom charges only $40 per month for unlimited data. So they leave something in the till for the next guy. And ebb pays a $100 copay for you and you pay only $10 and one penny for the terracom tablet. That means they get only $110 for the tablet they give to you but the tablet is worth nearly $300. now that adds up as an altruist company. And FCC is quick to find companies they should be quick to review this company and see how they did it yet no one else was doing a deal like this. Boost Mobile and some other companies had decent data deals. But it took boost forever to get a decent tablet to offer people. In the meantime most people got cheap tablets through Q Link or trueconnect or they got a fairly decent tablet through stand-up Wireless but the tablet is hard to find specific shockproof cases for and stand up wireless was giving only 10 gigabytes of data even if you got both lifeline and ebb coverage. Terracom Wireless stands above far above everyone else in the Telecom industry which specializes in helping low income people. I have had many of my friends and family order from them. And I have seen many of these tablets come I have worked on many to set them up because they do have a lot of bloatware but that's common with a popular tablet and you can remove most of it. Tara com Wireless gives an incredible deal I was stunned to learn about this because I've studied the program for almost a year now and there are only really three companies who give great tablets. Insurance wireless and Boost Mobile are two but they only recently got their tablets and it was too late for many people because they already use their voucher to get one from a cheap tablet company. IF YOU READ THIS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REPORT TERRACOM WIRELESS TO THE FCC. BUT TELL THEM THAT THIS COMPANY IS THE PERFECT EMERGENCY BROADBAND BENEFIT EXAMPLE AND THEY SHOULD REWARD THEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT ASKED FOR ANYTHING ON THEIR OWN I DO NOT WORK FOR THEM AND I DO NOT KNOW ANYONE WHO WORKS THERE BUT I AM A FANBOY because I have specialized and made a hobby of helping poor people get these tablets and I've seen nothing no one not any company who comes close to comparing to terracom wireless. And these following companies that I will list give good tablets but I don't know what kind of data plans they give. There are only a handful of companies that I've read about who give good tablets and I have read the offers from approximately 600 to 800 different companies: IT&E OF GUAM GIVES A SAMSUNG TAB A OR A FIRE TABLET. LOCAL TELL COMMUNICATIONS OF WENATCHEE WASHINGTON GIVES A 10-IN LENOVO TABLET FOR $25. TEAM MIDWEST OF MEC UTILITIES IN MICHIGAN GIVES A 10-IN FIRE TABLET. Boost Mobile finally gives a Alcatel Joy Tab 2 which is great and T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile were supposed to give this tablet but it appears that they wanted people to start up an account before they got their tablet which was confusing and people who need tablets because they're poor can't afford doing so and it will cost $30 to do so. Assurance Wireless has a 10-in Coolpad Tasker tablet which sounds good but they took a long time to do so so like boost they were late and other people had to go with companies like truconnect or Q Link because they didn't know about terracom Wireless terracom wireless really was the only deal on the block for the ebb company but they were allowed to cover only 21 states. read more
