The guy also tries to give you samples of unwashed fruit with dirty hands and a dirty knife used for cutting the fruits. Yuck!!! Parking is very limitted on the gravel next to the shop and your vehicle sometimes gets filthy and covered with dust when you or others drive in and out. Hard pass.

I had no idea there were so many types of blueberries. They had a little sign that listed the type of blueberry and what rows were available for picking. We grabbed a bucket and went to town. You are even allowed to taste them! The blueberries were good quality. While there were some that we not ripe yet, there were plenty of blueberries to pick and they looked good. They weren't like mushy or gross. Blueberries are also certified organic. Payment is sort of on the honor system, at least when we were there. Price is $3/lb. We ended up going up with 4 lbs of blueberries. They take cash, check or venmo. Just record the weight, the price and how you paid. They have other things at this farm as well.

As someone who dabbles in the world of mushroom growing, I've had my fair share of experiences with similar products, but none quite like this. The instructions and facts that I was supposed to use these kits right away were sealed inside the boxes. If that is so important, wouldn't you think there would be a big sticker on the outside saying USE IMMEDIATELY? Since I wasn't able to use them right away, I stored the Cascadia mushroom kits in a dark and cool place, just like I had done with previous purchases from other growers.. Months went by, and I couldn't wait to witness the magic of fungi sprouting from the kits. Imagine my surprise when, upon finally opening the box, I discovered nothing but disintegrated clusters of worms delicately nestled inside. Oh, the joy! Now, I must mention a previous run-in I had with Cascadia. I followed their instructions to the letter with one of their kits, yet the mushroom growth was lackluster at best. When I voiced my concern, they swiftly pointed fingers at my "tenting" method, blaming me for their own shortcomings. But, oh how generous of them to send a replacement kit! Such benevolence should not go unnoticed. Let me take a moment to sing the praises of other companies in this delightful realm of mushroom cultivation. Unlike Cascadia, these companies have provided me with reliable products and impeccable customer service. With them, I have watched my mushrooms grow with awe and wonder, without the added bonus of worm-infested surprises. Lesson learned, right? My experience with Cascadia mushroom kits has left me disheartened and $100 poorer. The lack of clear instructions, combined with the worm-filled disappointment, has solidified my decision to steer clear of this company. I implore you, dear potential buyer, to exercise caution and choose wisely. There are other brands out there that offer superior quality and stand by their customers, providing peace of mind and fungi-filled joy. Remember, friends, when it comes to mushroom kits, choose wisely, or you too might find yourself facing a comedy of errors and worms.

We had such an amazing day visiting this farm on Valentines Day. My 8 year old granddaughter…read moreChloe can't stop talking about it and is excited for any future visits. She got to hold a bunny and baby bunnies too, a chicken, a small tortoise, kitty cats and play with a friendly Dog named Rex who was a very well-behaved greeter to all who came to visit the farm that day. There were ducks bathing and splashing which brought giggles from the littles. Chloe got to brush a very friendly Donkey, a small horse and feed the goats and sheep. We spent a little over two hours and very much enjoyed ourselves. From my personal experience I noticed one very important rule to follow for anyone visiting the farm... please allow the people who are working the farm to pick up and hand you the animals you'd like to hold. Some are tamer than others and some are new to the farm. Please watch your children and help them follow just a few easy rules. It's very hard for most children to not chase and scare them or pick them up without help. When following the basic rules you will be sure to have a fantastic time. We were treated very kindly and rarely had to wait more than a minute or two for our turn to snuggle with a furry or feathered friend.

The goats are so silly and fun to watch and feed. The ducks, turkeys, chickens walk around freely and there are two nice dogs. The sheep were resting in the pasture and the cow was hiding out today. There are lots of places where you can interact with the animals or just sit under an umbrella and be entertained by them. It was easy to make a reservation on line, find the farm, parking and the family was welcoming. We will return.
