I have been coming here for years. It seems a bit excessive to drive all the way from Fairhaven for a box of strawberries. But, considering not many things in life are perfect, these strawberries would be a candidate. Without exception, regardless whether I buy a box or a flat, every berry is perfect. Big, juicy and with flavor in abundance. Never a bad berry in the mix. Actually quite unbelievable, but absolutely appreciated and totally enjoyed. Love Boxx's!! I've been coming here for years to their cute storefront and for u-pick berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries - depending on the time of year). Right now, the raspberries are going strong and u-pick is $3/lb (3 lb minimum). It won't take you too long to get to 3 lb. though! Boxx's provides buckets for you to use for picking, but I recommend bringing your own Tupperware or other containers. Ask the staff to pre-weigh your containers, then you can pick right into those and they'll subtract your containers from the weigh-in once you are done. This helps the berries not get crushed from transferring containers and all around I just think it's easier. :) At their main store, you can purchase lots of fresh produce as well as frozen berries, jams, sauces, seasonings, local honey, etc. They used to also have ice cream (scoop and soft-serve) and shortcakes available but that part was closed when we just visited this past weekend--not sure if that is forever or just due to the pandemic. read more

Great place to pick blueberries n raspberries. The berries were ripe n sweet. It's too bad the picked berries are just dropped in a plastic bag. The blueberries made it home alright but the raspberries were completely crushed (and there was only about a pound in the bag). The only thing the raspberries were good for was a smoothie. I've never been to a upick where u didn't get to take the raspberries home in a flat box or little berry boxes. Their photos show the berries in the flat berry boxes but that's not what we got So very disappointing after picking in the hot sun read more

This place is beautiful with plenty of berries for everyone. This is an off the beat stop on our way to Vancouver from Seattle and we're glad that we stopped by. This place is very kid friendly and the staffs are very nice. It's worth stopping by for 30 mins to an hour if you're looking for something fun to do with the family. read more

We always have amazing experiences with Boxx Berry Farms. The staff is friendly and kind, the strawberries are fat and juicy and their farmstand is well stocked and they have PIE. Well worth the drive from just about anywhere, definitely kid-friendly and fun for the whole family. They also have u-pick flowers that are so beautiful! We came with our child and my parents for the u-pick blueberries. A great time was had by all. The price was a good deal per pound and the berries were huge and absolutely delicious. There is a playground and sandbox for the kids to play in and a store with some value added products. We were looking at the hot sauces. We split some ice cream cones and went home very happy. This is my favorite place to do u-pick blueberries and as well as pick up already picked blueberries. They are so sweet and delicious. They really couldn't compare to store bought. Not only is the blueberry field very well organized with nice customer service to help you find where to pick, but there is also a delightful shop inside and ice cream area. A small-sized little farmer's market that sells fresh berries, veggies, and flowers, I'm glad that Boxx Berry Farm is near my neighborhood. Just entering the shop you can smell how fresh and sweet the produce has been gathered. Though they have an option for picking your own berries & flowers, we purchased several good-sized portions of already plucked fruit at a reasonable price. Great place to shop; very tidy! Next time we go, we may take advantage of some of their locally made jams, syrups, or ice cream. Yum! read more

Picture it - mid September wedding U Cut flower expedition. Our organizer who planned the trip to Boxx was not organized. Boxx was closed when we arrived late, as winter hours were in effect. Wedding panic ensued. The good news - Boxx staff on site were beyond helpful and accommodating. They pointed us to the gazebo where u pick instructions are, got us all set up and going. Because of the amount we were picking they even provided buckets with water, wheelbarrow, etc. Beautiful selection. Great prices. The owner even came down from home to sell us non ucut flowers (roses, baby's breath) and supplies and take a card for payment. It is beautiful, and I will be back!! read more

Had the privilege of doing flowers for my friends wedding. I had 24 hours to find and put a bouquet of flowers together. I knew she wanted a country style. By my good fortune, I went to Boxx's. I was floored by the amazing selection, quality, and design. The bouquet that were premade- were already perfect for walking down the isle! To top it off they were so delightful, and personal. I had the opportunity to work with 2 of the staff, and then the owner was called to help me with some of my needs. They were patent with me, working with me and wants, and to top it off the price was so affordable. I love the overall feeling of community. It is present in there neighborly attention. Came in for frozen berries got all i wanted at a great price and got a strawberry sundae, yummy!! Also picked up some cheese dip, dry rub and pickled asparagus. Next visit will be plants, they have a great variety and lots of knowledge. Staff was super helpful and extremely friendly. They are easy to find and have a private parking lot. read more

Although U pick strawberry farms are easy to find where I live, we don't really have blueberry farms so when I saw it was season, we stopped by Boxx Berry Farm on our way back to Seattle from Birch Bay. You have to drive past their little store in the front to around the back. Just follow the signs that say U Pick. We parked on the grass and walked to a small hut where a very friendly young lady handed us a couple of buckets and walked us to a row filled with huge blueberries. It's a 3 pound minimum but at $3.50 a pound, it was a steal. The berries were amazing. I love blueberries, but what you buy at the store cannot compare to picking them fresh off the bush. I wish we had bought 6 pounds and taken them home to California, but I didn't think I'd be able to without squishing them on the plane. I'll be better prepared next summer. We also bought some of their jarred blueberry jam at $9 a bottle. We gave some away as gifts and kept a couple for ourselves. We haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it's just as yummy as those amazing blueberries we hand picked. read more

I love Boxx Berry Farm!!!! This is my go to place for all my berry picking, strawberries for fresh summer desserts and freezing for all year long, and raspberries for raspberry jam. The price can not be beat, under $2 a lb for both berries when you pick yourself. It's always a fun time picking, more so with raspberries since you don't have to lean over or kneel so much. This farm is one of our favorites! My family and I went there this weekend for the U pick blueberries and we fell in love with the farm. The family farm has a very relaxed atmosphere and they let you walk around and explore - we almost started to feel like we lived there. Their blueberry bushes were established and the berries were beautiful and the size of nickels and quarters. They were only $1.99/lb! What a steal! They have college age kids working there and all the girls were very polite, friendly and knowledgeable. There was a small little playground there for the kids, which was a nice surprise. Once we were done with the berry picking, you can go into their produce section inside and have some ice cream or strawberry shortcake! Afterwards we shopped for fresh produce. They had a pretzel and dip sample out and their dips are SO GOOD. This was a parmesan peppercorn dip - YUM! We ended up buying BBQ sauce, dip mixes, peaches, garlic (which was huge!) and red and yellow potatoes. That night we tried the Original BBQ sauce on some chicken and it is our new favorite! We're going to go back to try some other flavors for sure! The Marionberry BBQ is on my list! When we cut up the potatoes for dinner, they were incredibly clean and the color was amazing. We're hooked and can't wait to go back. Next time I would love to bring home some of their fresh cut flowers. I wasn't sure if they would make the long trip back down to where we live in Marysville. A friend and I went raspberry picking recently and had a wonderful time! It wasn't too busy so we had a whole row to ourselves. The raspberries were perfectly ripe and only $2 a pound (so much cheaper then the grocery store). Will definitely go back for blueberries and next year! read more
