You cannot visit Klamath Falls without visiting this wonderful little eatery! I'm in town with family for a "spa-cation" getaway. Unfortunately, the resort we're staying at does not have many vegan food options so we ventured out and discovered Terra Veg! From the minute I walked my nose was greeted by a wonderful aroma! It was only minutes within closing but the staff allowed us to order and dine in as opposed to taking our food to go. I ordered a flatbread with marinaded mushrooms called the Terra Veg and a cup of the red lentil soup. The flavors were amazing! I swear we could not get our food down fast enough for desert we had a tasty lavender cupcake. Everything was truly delicious and I highly recommend you check it out. I am so happy we found this place and I am excited to go back. I had a health meal and felt like I was supporting a community that doesn't receive a lot of attention in Klamath Falls. While we waited for out food we got to eat pistachios which they place on each table under a lovely small tandoori style lid. The salads and wraps have a great contrast with pickled onions, savory grilled vegatables, a salty and creamy humus or dressing. But my favorite is the use of spices which elevates the food beyond anywhere in town. They know which spices to use and how much to use--not everyone in town does. Wow. A total vegan cafe in kinda remote KFalls. Seating for about 10 to 15. Fresh, cheerful and clean atmosphere. Lots of Moroccan style dishes with plenty of hummus. What a great find! My wife and I had a wonderful lunch - service was great and really appreciated the cooking advice from the chef. All ingredients were fresh including the flat bread, which was baked at the restaurant. The vegan cupcakes were fluffy and moist and are a "must have. " The restaurant's inside seating was relatively small but augmented with outside seating and take-out. They offered a great menu with lots of interesting and unique vegan dishes. YESSS! A vegan restaurant in Klamath Falls! The food is absolutely phenomenal. This is, hands down, one of the best restaurants (vegan or not) in Southern Oregon. Chef Liz is a treasure in this tiny town, and her menu captures the myriad flavors of the Mediterranean in shareable plates, perfectly portioned individual dishes, and daily specials. My husband and I tried the Spanish Tapas, Falafel Sandwich, and Shawarma Sandwich. Our taste buds danced and sang the praises of the brilliant flavor combos. The Zhoug sauce on the Shawarma Sandwich was spicy, robust, and tangy. The Shawarma was definitely my favorite dish. The falafel is air fried instead of deep fried. I love this healthier approach, and the flavor was perfectly falafel-tastic. The chermoula sauce mixed with the hummus made for a truly delightful, sweet yet earthy and spicy treat. The potatoes on the Spanish Tapas were... divine. Yep, divine. Soft but not mushy, and so rich in flavor I might ask em for a loan. Mmmm, and that aoili. I'm drooling just thinking about it. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Simply yet elegantly decorated by Chef Liz herself. She made the counters and the bench in the corner, and the art on the walls is hers, too. Don't look at this place and say "Oh it's vegan," and walk away. It's a Mediterranean restaurant that just happens to be vegan. It is unreal. I had the Falafel Sandwich, and it was legit. The falafel is homemade, crumbly and not deep-fried which actually gives it a better texture. Everything was full of flavor, fresh, and homemade.
