My husband and I recently had a great meal at Terra di Siena consisting of a burrata cheese, arugula and tomato salad, homemade pasta with mushrooms and grilled steak with fresh rosemary. Everything was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. The server spoke little English but was friendly and provided prompt service. Terra di Siena is located just off the Piazza Navona on a side street. We made our reservation using "The Fork" website.

I got the meat and cheese platter and bruschetta.

DELICIOUS! I'm going back for the truffle pasta but staff was extremely friendly and kind. It had nice outdoor seating but the inside of the restaurant was also very nice. Would highly recommend.

What a great restaurant in Rome just around tthe corner from Piazza Navona. Excellent service! Excellent flavors from Tuscany! A must try. Very quaint and local. From the bar rusty of pastas to the tender steaks.... BRAVO!!!! We enjoyed a 3-hr lunch here and will never forget the experience! Great bottles of wine consumed during our meal.

We initially were planning on going to a different restaurant nearby that had good reviews but when we got there and saw the line, we decided to find some place else, and happened to stumble upon this place, and we are glad we did. Fresh pasta, decent prices, good ambiance, very good service. Couldn't ask for more.

    Delightful bistro

Terre di Sienna is a medium size bistro a few blocks from the Patheon. It has approx. a dozen seatings outside and maybe 20 inside. AC inside was a welcome feature after a day of walking around Rome. They have one clean bathroom hidden in the back. Kristina and Ketty were delightful and patient with us. Our order was taken accurately and suggestions we're given. We had some Aperol spritzers to cool off, then a bottle of syrah with our meal. My anchovies on toasted bread were delicious an my wife's green beans were very flavorful. We shared a Florentine steak that was cooked to perfection ( better than the one we had in Florence 2 days ago). Long review short, we liked it a lot and would go back.

Decent. Good service. I had the pasta with cheese and pepper and it was incredibly rich and heavy -- much more so than I'd anticipated

Just an average food, nothing different or special about it. We were somewhat disappointed as this restaurant has been highly recommended.

It is…read morequite close to the Trevi Fountain so I don't recommend eating outside as there will be lots of people walking around. Inside, the atmosphere is nice and warm. The service is so friendly and very fast. It was the only restaurant that gave us bread and a little dessert as part of the service. I ordered the cacio e pepe and the carbonara because I could not make up my mind and both were delicious. Both dishes I would recommend. Portions are a bit bigger than other places I had tried during my trip but the pasta is just different in Italy. It does not make you bloated.

The issue I had was that I was in a super heavy tourist area and all of the restaurants we were walking past had people outside trying to lure us in. I wanted to avoid places like that, however via Yelp I discovered Il Chianti a short walk away. While still I assumed still touristy, the reviews were great and as we approached they weren't trying to lure us in, so we decided to try them out. I take this place is very popular since I noticed a sign instructing diners for form a line as we walked up to the restaurant. However, there was no line to be found and we were seated right away. Curb appeal is lovely, they have a decently-sized outdoor seating area though we opted to sit inside. The interior is a good size and compartmentalized into different rooms. The aesthetics are mostly classic with medium to dark wood tones. The menu contained some Tuscan dishes but also several that were more common outside of the region. We decided to start with two of their apps - a cheese plate and bread with fatty prosciutto, pistachio, and honey. The cheese plate was great, I love cheese and this one delivered - there was a good variety and the plate was paired with a few complements. The bread was great - the combination of the fatty prosciutto with the honey and nuts made for a great experience. There was a small salad in the center of the dish which was a welcome reprieve from the heaviness of the app. For my main I decided to get pasta - the paccheri with tomato sauce and burrata was speaking to me. The dish was great - pasta was cooked well and all of the components were super fresh. I've tried burrata in may settings but rarely in a pasta dish - it worked well and now I'll be seeking it out more often. Service was good - everyone was very friendly and there was a good pace to the rate our dishes came out. Overall, we had a great experience at Il Chianti - in a sea of touristy spots by the Trevi, this stands out as a noteworthy option for a good meal.

This is super disappointing because this restaurant is easily one of the highlights of the family's trip in Europe. Dal Toscano's history dates back to 1938 founded and still operated by the Bruni Family. This traditional Tuscan cuisine restaurant is super popular amongst locals and is well situated in the Prati Neighborhood in Rome and a stone throw from the Vatican. While dining there, 99% customers there are locals and the staff pretty much only spoke Italian. I am suspecting that is also why so many tourists wrote negative reviews because of communication difficulties. And yes there is a little bit of pretentiousness since it's a white table cloth experience geared up towards the working executives in the area. As for the foods they are best explained as "heavenly" as the bistecca and the pastas are really darn good. Despite the sanitary scare we will definitely be returning when we are back in Rome.

This is very much where the locals go. We were there for lunch and it was clear who were the regulars. Google reviews are mixed because the tourists don't seem to get a consistent experience. There are reviewers who say they got treated bad because they're asian. Well, maybe they deserved it...I know how asians in restaurants can be. I'm asian and i was treated and served very well, but i spoke to them in Italian the entire time; they knew we were clearly not locals. The food is ridiculously good and i felt i was treated well.
