I will not even give this company one star. My first few experiences with them were favorable, The technician that serviced our home was dependable, professional and a good communicator. Last week I had an appointment scheduled for service and no one showed up, even after receiving several text messages and emails confirming the appointment. I have called at least four times requesting a call back from a manager and one week later still no call. We paid quite a large amount of money for an annual service agreement and it was a mistake. This company obviously has no custome service at all. The only thing they want is your money. I've worked with Terminix for a few years now. When I had a technician I could contact directly, they were great. Otherwise, they would do things like: reschedule without telling me, not show up, or send a sales rep when I requested a spray (I have two accounts). My old technician told me to schedule with him instead of the 1 800 number because the reps mess up the schedule. After the last 2 mix ups, I requested to speak with the manager. They never called me back. They try to sell you on specialty treatment, which I took them up on once (for about $1300) and they only bothered to show up once. I have been trying to fix an issue with the Albuquerque store since August 2022. I have called and talked with nice ladies but they have no ability to get managers to call me. They say someone will call in 48 hours and no one ever does. But when you call to find out what happened they say they called and left a voicemail! Such liars! They never call but report that they do. Then I ask the ladies to try again and again and again yet no one ever calls. It's a goof thing my credit card has refuse payment because they screwed me on a service by not arranging the appointment. All that got serviced was a cement pad outside the home. I would give 0 stars if I could. I cannot evaluate this company's service because they never provided any. I should have recognized there would be problems when I called their toll-free number and it me over an hour and fie transferred calls to reach someone who allegedly scheduled me the next day between 12:00 2:00. None one showed up. I called at 2:20 to see what was going on. At that time, I was advised that had been rescheduled to the next day between 7 and 9, but there were no notes explaining why and she would have to transfer me. I was on the phone for another hour and advised management would be calling me. When he called, he indicated that I have not been scheduled at all. He had no record of the missed appointment or the rescheduled appointment. He Could not explain why and refused to give me the number to corporate headquarters. I received a call an hour later from someone who wanted to confirm an appointment for the next day between eight and ten. Ineffective pest control. Still having same insect issues after having a service contract for over a year- often having multiple treatments within a month. Technicians do not show up when scheduled and do not call to cancel. When I've had to call to ask where they are, I speak to some service center that offers no help. I end up having to schedule another appointment, rearrange my schedule again to be home, and hope that they actually show up. I will be canceling when my contract is up. My husband and I used Terminix pest control. The last time one of their employees was in my home, my diamond earrings and my wedding ring went missing. I have not seen them since. This was this past March and the Terminix rep was named Matthew. It is my word against his so I never filed a claim, but I would never recommend them again. Someone texted me from the company to ask if I wanted them to come out again for the next service? I texted back, "No" and explained what happened, they never even contacted me. The earrings were on my bedside table where I always lay them when not wearing them. The ring was in my jewelry box. I trusted the young man and did not follow him into the master bedroom while he sprayed. That was my fault for being so trusting. read more

Horrible service. Called and booked an appointment for wasp removal. The operator said they specialize in wasp removal, then proceeded to sell me on a 6 month plan where they come out and spray. I said I wasn't really interested in other services, mainly just the wasp problem, but agreed to the 6 month term. After taking time off of work to accommodate their schedule, the tech shows up and says he can't do wasp removal because he didn't bring a ladder. Said we have to order a specialist. I thought that's what I did? After turning the guy away, I called Terminix to cancel my agreement, and the lady was very rude. This is why you go local mom and pop. read more

Terminix are liars, cheats and scammers... On June 28, 2019 a young man came to my door with Terminix. He stated that they were in the neighborhood and signing people up and if I would be interested. He had no papers or brochures only a tablet that he used to show me what bugs they kill. We talked and one question I specifically asked was if there was a contract because I don't do contracts. He stated that there was no contract and that I could cancel at any time. He said it was 80 each time they came out and that they come out every 2 months. So I agreed for them to come out the following weekend on Saturday July 6th and signed his tablet. The next day (June 29, 2019) the young man came back and said that they over booked the next weekend and would give me a 30 dollar credit on my bill if I would be willing to change it to tomorrow (Sunday June 30th). So I agreed to that. So they came out and sprayed. On 07/03/19 I was charged the full 80 plus tax (total 86.30) so I called the 800 number listed on CC charge and they said they would take it off the next service. I said okay. When they came out the second time it was on August 2. Which by my calculations is 33 days. Which is only one month I expected them to show up at the end of August like they did at the end of June. Making it roughly 2 months. So I called once again and was told well it is the second month technically because we came in June and now in August. So I said fine whatever. And decided before they try to screw me again I'm just going to cancel the service. So Come October I tell myself I better cancel before the show up. So I called the 800 number and canceled with no problems. They lady on the phone was nice but mentioned nothing about a cancellation fee. So I thought that was the end of this headache. Oh no... I get a voicemail from a guy saying I'm better off paying 80 dollars a few more times because there is a 99 dollar cancellation fee. I was shocked! So I called the 800 number again and filed a complaint. Now I received a voicemail from a Tiffany that clearly didn't read or understand said complaint or the phone number to best reach me at that I left in said complaint. When I stated that their representative that came to my door apparently LIED and told me that there was no contract! So I will be calling back on Monday and see when this drama will end. read more

ZERO RATING! I was called less than 24 hours for my scheduled service and had to cancel and was looking to reschedule on a weekend that I'm available. I checked my bank account and found a Terminx charge, which was odd since I haven't scheduled my service yet. Come to find out the technician came out anyway on a Friday and didn't tell me so my dogs were outside, which tells me he didn't spray my backyard. Reschedule me for Saturday from 12:00pm-2:00pm right away the technician call me to reschedule for Tuesday. They are so disorganized. This has to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. First, it was a few years ago, they treated for termites which wasn't done correctly cause the termites came back so I contacted another company for assistance, they told me that Terminix did not do it right the first time, the holes were too far apart, so I contacted Terminix again who came out to inspected and told me it was not done correctly and that they would do it again, more chemicals pumped into the ground. I was set up on a yearly inspection after that which was hit or miss, mostly miss, they would show up unannounced or not at all. Walk through house with a flashlight acting like they knew what they were doing. As the years went on the price went up and the service down. Yes, I know, should have learned by now, but, on the last inspection the man that showed looked around said all was well, I talked to him about if I leave a piece of wood on the ground in the yard for very long it would have termites on it. I was concerned. He told of the bait stations which sound like a good plan and it locked in the yearly price for the inspection lower than I have now for 5 years. I paid with a credit card and thought all was well. Nope, they continue to call to collect on the bill stating it was never processed, they don't know anything about the 5 year agreement, when I ask for a manager to call I'm told they will note it in the system. I set up an appointment for an inspection. It was easy. They wrote back to confirm the appointment day and time, and I confirmed. The day of the appointment I took time off work to be home and spent time moving things around so they could have access to the attic and the crawl space, then waited. No one called or showed up. I replied to the confirmation notice and was told to call a 1-800 number instead. I called that number and they showed I did have an appointment and even knew who it was with. The person I was talking to was from Tampa! He said he'd call the technician and I should get a call within 15 minutes or I should call him back. 25 minutes later ...still no call, so I called them back. This time I got a woman from Memphis, TN. She told me the exact same thing. I waited my 15 minutes, still with no call and made my decision to no choose Terminix to do business with since they don't actually seem to have an office in Alb. or someone local who will actually answer the phone. The local person/s who they have sub-contracted with and the Corporate Terminix folks don't seem to be organized or have it together enough to agree to a time and date (with a two-hour window) and honor that commitment so I won't trust them to do my pest control. read more
