We were concerned that we had a possible bed bug infestation. We had called a couple of the big-name pest control companies such as Orkin, and although we had asked for a ballpark estimate of what this would cost given the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and overall square footage, all that they were able to give us was an initial inspection fee. It felt like a high pressure sales pitch, and I didn't feel comfortable paying upfront for an inspection only to be told it might cost a couple grand or more. We called Organic Pest Control NM and they were absolutely wonderful. They took time to answer questions, seemed very knowledgeable and were upfront about the cost estimate. They told us how to prepare for the treatment ahead of time like washing all the clothes in hot water and hanging them up off the floor to dry or sealing items in plastic bags if we couldn't wash them. Then they came out and inspected the house and felt confident there wasn't an infestation. They DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE US for the inspection. What an honest business. They could've told us we had bed bugs and needed to treat the entire house and we would have been none the wiser. Then they said that if they were wrong and needed to come back to spray the house they would've given us a discount. So grateful they made this experience less stressful! Organic pest control does a great job. I've used them for about a year and a half now for both weeds and pests. I like that I don't have to have a contract. The workers are always very professional. Josh just did the work today, and in the past I've had Nicholas and Chris. They all showed up on time and did the work efficiently. I can tell exactly where my property line is based on where the neighbor's weeds start! Pest control is also effective. The bugs mostly stay away for about 3 months after an outside treatment, and I went a little over a year on my indoor treatment before the number of bugs was a problem. read more

I am really pleased to have been able to have a much worse than normal infestation of carpenter ants, spiders, and other unwanted critters eliminated in my house more safely than I have had in the past. I have a brand new puppy and I definitely wanted organic products, not potentially toxic chemicals. The carpenter ants take a while to all die, since killing the queen back at the ants' home base is the only sure solution (explained carefully and more clearly than I am writing it down here by Josh), and I was concerned about the puppy eating chemically poisoned ants, or getting into the agent used. Josh himself was great. Called ahead, arrived when I was told to expect him, explained everything thoroughly, and was done quickly with no disruption of my household at all. I'm not going to lie but I was very skeptical going through these guys, figured I'd give them a try due to a few reasons, Reason 1 I had called literally every company big and local and these were the only guys that could come same day and didn't ask me a million questions like the big guys, Reason number two is because after calling around these were the only guys that had a one time service meaning they didn't force their monthly and quarterly services down my throat they were fine doing a one time spray if that's what I wanted which I did and for a great price, and thirdly after reading reviews and knowing I have my 1 year old son and my 3 year old German shepherd figured the wife would be happy to know that it was 100% safe for both they came out for me due to a crazy ant problem that we had with in 24 hours no more ants and I'm happy to report this was almost 2 moths ago and haven't had an issue since so I can attest that their organic solutions do in fact work as good or better then the harsh chemicals the other guys are using read more
