My family has used AAA Organic Pest control for two generations. Whenever there is pest problem (ants, roaches, mice or whatever) their technicians have solved it. Our current tech is so conscientious in helping us prevent problems in our hundred year old+ adobe. Because we are organic producers, staying organic in pest control is important. Zack is the best listener and has taught us what to do in each instance to stay organic in our responses. And, if something occurs before the next appointment, they come right away to address it. Horrible experience. This technician just SHOWED up at the residential living house I work at on Saturday and waltzed right past me. He was inappropriately dressed, poorly groomed and smugly insistent that two people I have never even heard of at our agency headquarters had told him I would surrender the pass code for our electronic door lock at the residence! Of course I refused!...but he didn't stop there...over the course of the 15 brief minutes in the house he tried to coerce the pin number for the door out of my mouth 4 times! He became visibly irate when i refused! I want uncomfortable with the situation from the very beginning and so i started to follow him from room to room when i noticed he was spending too much time spraying the closets! After that, he made me sign the invoice which i didnt get a carbon copy of, and dashed out the door post haste! He didnt go into the utility room or open the garage door at ALL...which was where the rodent sightings were at! I managed to get the info on the vehicle he was driving and he claimed his name was "Zach" but I have NO idea...He seemed very intent on gaining unrestricted access to the house, and he spent all of the time he was supposedly spraying- snooping around. My client and I both looked at eachother and said: "sumthin about this is all sorts of WRONG!". I immediatly called the care coordinator and explained briefly and when i told her the names of the ladies who allegedly said that i was going to give him the code- she just balked. She said: "Mayara hasn't worked for our agency for over 3 years...and Lori is our security specialist so she would NEVER be alright with giving the pin code! Its a security risk!" I felt both better and worse after conversing with the care coordinator. Better because i did the right thing, but worse after considering how angry he got about the code and chasing him around the house everywhere! Do NOT use this company! They are not BBB accredited and i read through all of the other customer reviews and i read four other negative comments which described the man the same way i did. Hes a burgler and a creep- no question about it. He felt the need to continue to impress upon me how he was in the military and "other people shouldnt test my strength. I was in the military. It's not a good idea to make me angry"-- I accepted that as a threat and responded that I too am a Berserker and I don't appreciate threats. This was when I more or less forced him out the door. There WILL be an IR about this exchange and legal action as necessary. I'll call my boss from when I was working NCIC- and that isn't a threat- it's a promise. read more

Extremely disappointed with this service. They tried to get us locked into a yearly contract with them but i opted for the 1 time service for $125. so we could see how well it worked. Unfortunately, we have still had issues with spiders and bugs an entire week later and daily. Apon calling, the lady explained it wasn't guaranteed because we didn't agree to a yearly contract....the website says plain as day, PRODUCTS THAT WORK FOR YOUR NEEDS. Well, they didn't. After explaining i was leaving this review they then wanted to call me back and schedule another spray, but not before i was placed on hold(after they called ME back) for 3 minutes before i just hung up. Nope! We used an organic pest control service in Austin TX, and after speaking to the receptionist at AAA it seemed I would be able to get the same service with the same type of products from AAA. As another reviewer noted already, you have to be very careful about things labled "Green" and "Organic." Chemicals are chemicals. Even the plant based ones can be very toxic. Pyrethins for example, can cause reactions in humans and are toxic to bees and other pollinators. I only wanted to use products I already knew to be completely safe around not only my pets and livestock, but also my beneficial insects. I had two different techs come out. The first guy to come out was straight up terrible. He was supposed to do an analysis of our property (which was more expensive than a regular visit). First I tried to talk to him about the carpenter ants we have on our property. We have A LOT of them. I actually showed the tech a dead carpenter ant that I'd found INSIDE the house. I know what a carpenter ant is, and the tech confirmed that it was indeed a carpenter ant, but he said, "Oh I wouldn't worry about it." He seemed like he just didn't want to go to the trouble of looking into the problem. Further, he left no instructions for the next tech as to the type of product I specifically wanted used on our property. So the next month when our "regular" guy showed up, he used the wrong product. Both techs gave me a lot of push back on the product I wanted to use (I wanted the boric acid stuff), saying it was "Just as toxic" (same toxicity rating) as the one they normally use. And while that may be true, I wanted the boric acid because I'd had such good results with it in the past. I couldn't see why they were arguing with me, since the initial person I spoke to on the phone said it wouldn't be any problem to just use the boric acid. The following month the original guy was back trying to use the other product I didn't want, so I asked him AGAIN to note the product I'd asked to be used. He said he would do that. He spent all of 5 minutes applying tiny puffs of boric acid to the outside of our 2,400 sqr ft home, and then he left. The next month the second guy shows up and, guess what, the old guy hadn't left him any instructions so he didn't have enough of the boric acid that I wanted him to use. None of the technicians visits lasted more than 15 mins at the LONGEST, but during the last visit the tech told me that he would have to change our service and make my property a "4 hour visit." I don't know what that means, but I'm quite certain its not referring to the actual time they spend doing the service. It only took him 20 mins to lay down a line of boric acid powder around 3/4's of our house (before he ran out of the powder and left) (and BTW, no, he never made any attempt to come back and finish the job). When I called AAA to tell them that I wan't happy and wanted to cancel my service, they seemed totally uninterested in why I was cancelling. All they cared about was getting my $100 cancellation fee. Please do yourself a favor and skip this awful company. Find someone else who actually cares about their service. When I think about how good our old company was compared to this one, it really saddens me. People are trying to do the responsible thing by calling a company like this, and AAA is just taking advantage of them. read more

I had called many pest companies trying to get a quick appt for a pest problem. AAA Pest answered their phone and took the time to talk to me (I spoke with Bernadette initially and called back and spoke to someone else but she was also super helpful) about the pest problem and scheduled me within 24 hrs! The technician, Mike, was prompt and courteous! I signed a contract for pest control and their prices are competitive and they use non-harmful chemicals that won't harm my dog or kiddos. BEWARE - This company says they're organic/green but will not reveal ingredients unless you pay $65 for initial consult (and even then they say they don't have specs). When pushed, they say they use the "least toxic" ingredients. As somebody who has been seriously injured by "green" pest control, I can tell you "least toxic" is meaningless. I can't imagine it's even legal to not reveal ingredients. read more

Do yourself a favor and go with another company. I used AAA for 3 years. Last November, 2.5 years into servicing my home, the technician, Adam Holbrook, informed us that he had been treating our home for the wrong thing. Instead of offering us a refund due to THEIR error, AAA RAISED our monthly cost by $20 to treat for the right thing!! I had wondered why we weren't seeing improvement and hoped that we would now that they were treating for the "right thing." We saw a slight improvement, but not much. Fast forward to my scheduled service for April 21, 2020 (we are on a set schedule, mind you, so this has been on their calendar since day 1). My household members informed me the morning of our scheduled service that Adam had not been doing all areas that we pay for, which includes the entire interior of the home, exterior and the garage. I tell my housemates to make sure he does all of these when he arrives. I receive a text from Adam in the afternoon saying his ETA is 3:30, our normal time. I then receive another text at 3:26 from the tech saying his new ETA is 4:15. At 4:08, I receive another text from the tech stating that he is waiting on a dead battery replacement and will be there closer to 5pm. I let him know my housemates are home and waiting and go on to say that I need for all of the areas I pay for to be treated during every service. Adam then starts arguing with me and flat out lies saying he does do all areas, even though we know for a fact he does not (he even lists service to 1 bathroom on the invoice when we have 2 in the home). I tell him what has been relayed to me and he starts insulting my home and it's inhabitants (my children and roommate) in his text messages, followed by "I don't want to argue." I respond, "I will not argue either. I pay you for a service and that is not the way to talk to a customer. I will be talking to your office." Adam responds with a half assed apology for what he wrote, and then says he will not show up for my scheduled appointment and will have the office call me to reschedule. I respond that not showing up is unacceptable and this is not the way to run a business, especially in these uncertain times. Upon speaking to the office the next day, I voice my concerns about the abuse I received from their tech, Adam Holbrook. I am told that the owner will contact me when he gets in the office in a little bit. It is now the end of the day and I have yet to receive the so-called call back. Needless to say, I have had it with this company and will be going elsewhere, as should you. read more

I can't say enough about this organic pest control company. They arrive on time (I accidentally stood them up once and they were not upset with us). They use less toxic products, yet they get the job done (eliminates pests for almost a solid year). I've used them several times.. approx once a year. Past couple of times I had Richard.. and he is extremely thorough-- really into his job. He takes time to ask a lot of questions--and to see that any and all issues are looked into and addressed-- and is super pleasant, as is the office staff.
