I don't get the negative reviews. It's an airport; wait times are going to be unpredictable and prices are going to be expensive. I'm sure they also get a ton of people who say they'll come back at x time but just never show, can't blame them for not holding your spot. If you're pressed for time before a flight probably not the best activity lol. That being said, I was able to get in right away for a gel pedicure and a 15 minute deep tissue massage. Both services were amazing and on par with my normal local spots. Very happy with my French pedi, still looks great! The massage was both relaxing and therapeutic, I had to wait a few minutes for them to finish with someone else, no biggie. This place could really learn some customer care. Today, the woman in terminal B12 was extremely rude. All I wanted was to soak off the current nails I have on. She refused. She told me they don't do soak off even though it is listed in their services. She then told me she could do it but she would have to charge by the time. I said okay and then she said she didn't have the time. I asked if I could buy the acetone and cotton balls and she told me no that she doesn't have a drill and can't help me. I asked where the other spa was in the airport and she told me terminal 3. I went there and they told me they could do it (which I knew). Why didn't I read the their reviews before I went here!? ‍ I told them I wanted a gel mani. They asked if I wanted to do the $50 special which is a reg manicure with a 15 min seated Swedish massage in the massage chair. I said sure, assuming it will cost a bit more since I asked for gel polish. While I am getting the massage a nail tech comes over and says can I wrap your nails since you already have gel on and we have to soak it off? I said sure. Well what I didn't realize until later was that she did NOT BUFF the top coat off of my nails before she applied the acetone to soak off the gel. (If you don't buff the top coat off then the acetone can't penetrate to dissolve the gel.) so 15 min later a different nail tech couldn't figure out why the gel wasn't coming off and she proceeded to buff the top coat off and RESOAK my nails. (Yay I'm so glad this is taking 2x as much time as I thought it take and who doesn't love acetone soaking on their hands sucking every bit of moisture out of their skin?) But she didn't leave the acetone on long enough so all of the gel didn't have a chance to fully dissolve. Then while filing my nails she would occasionally say oh your nails are flaking. Umm no, that's not my nail, thats the gel polish that's still on my nails. She asked me what shape I wanted my nails filed in and whether I wanted to keep them long, I said same shape, round please and yes keep the length and that is how she filed my right hand. So then why the F did she shorten my nails on the left hand AND file them square!? Washing my hands and seeing how awful my nails looked I was so upset nearly burst into tears. I sat back down and wanting to get the hell out of this place as fast as humanly possible I said I don't want gel anymore, just buff them please. She said okay. And while buffing she commented on how oh your nails don't look as shiny as they should. I KNOW! For the umpteenth time it's because there is still fucking gel polish on my nails!!!!!!! When I went to check out they told me that it will be $83. I told them I didn't get gel polish I just had her buff them because it was taking too long. Well they said we still have to charge you for the soak off. THIRTY THREE MOTHER FUCKING DOLLARS FOR A SOAK OFF!!?? Fuck this place. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

I asked for a massage and was told to wait for 30 minutes. The African American girl at the front desk saw me sit and wait for 30 minutes. When it came to 25 minutes she came over and I was on the phone and told her five minutes. At 30 minutes I was back to the desk off the phone and saw another man was given the only spare seat. I asked when I was up and she said because I was on the phone she had bumped me to wait another 30 minutes. I said I was on the phone IN FRONT of her and back at the desk at the TIME SHE TOLD ME TO BE. No sorry, no eye contact, I could barely understand her as she was mumbling and looking at her screen. One technician. One. So much for my "Last Minute Manicure." Since I was crunched for time at home I decided to try an airport manicure between flights. I got here before it opened at 6:30, and waited across the hall. Figured I'd have plenty of time to make my 8:00 flight. But one person was before me and the receptionist could only give me an appointment for 7:00. It's now 7:02 and I'm being told "it's whenever she's done." Update: I will add a star bc the tech did a decent job and was quick, though she didn't start until almost 7:10. There are six stations but apparently she works alone on Saturdays until 2:30. Horrible. Walked up and two staff were standing talking. They completely ignored us. Wife needed nails done and I was going to get massage. Staff did not smile or say hello or any welcome greeting whatsoever. They stood there still, unresponsive, bland with no welcoming expression. The place was empty. Nobody there. No availability for nails for wife. I decided not to get massage even though wife wanted me to. I decided that with such poor service, I do not want to waste my money in such an establishment. Nobody was there getting spa services. Nobody. And yet the staff were uninterested in working. Did I say no clients were present and the two staff had absolutely nothing to do?. If I were the manager, I would reprimand both and fire one of them. If they do not care to be busy and bring in business, why pay for two staff in an empty spa? Service matters. read more
