A must-have is the Teriyaki Salmon, however, all the food we ordered had so much flavor. One thing was better than the next. The miso soup and small salad that came with the meal were perfect and well-balanced in Japanese flavors. The shrimp tempura with vegetables were all succulent and fried to perfection. Ohjah was immaculately set up with red cloth napkins and many sauce dipping dishes, chopsticks and forks set up just so, on neatly arranged tables and chairs. Everything made for a relaxing and flavorful dining experience. We will definitely be back to Ohjah very soon, and would highly recommend this restaurant!

One note- my mom wanted to get the ramen but the menu stated it's a seasonal item only from October to April... understandable because it was 110 that day and I'm sure hot soup is not a commodity during the blazing summer in Pahrump. This is where they lost me. The plates came out one or two at a time, and It took FOREVER to get get them. I actually came back the following evening and ordered 2 more orders of Unagi, for my wife to try it as well. Chef Takeshi is a wine connoisseur, and he remembered the days when I use to bring my personal favorite Reds, to share with him over dinner. It is obvious that they dumped the old stuff on top of the new stuff. They then filled our plate up with about 80% of the crunchy chow mein, which we did not know was crunchy until we got home. The main entrées were in the small sections and were level with the bottom part of the Styrofoam plate. Barely anything! I've never had this problem at a Panda Express in Las Vegas. From now on, it will be pizza up here and I will wait for my Panda Express when I have to drive into Las Vegas.
