Small and cozy new Sushi joint in Pahrump. Service is ok, the waitress we had wasn't too outgoing, but was polite and helpful. We ordered a Bento box and a Ramen... we were told Ramen wasn't advisable because they hadn't started making it yet. That was odd because it was 2:30 pm. The food wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, but basic. But definitely a very nice change of scenery and food type away from all of the crappy fast food chains in Pahrump!

Chirashi Don

Ok Pahrump and Las Vegas you got to come here on a Monday. I don't know another chef comes in with innovated cooking styles and sauces. I tried the Chirashi Don and if ur a sashimi fan u will not won't go back after trying this sashimi. My wife had the teriyaki veggies and my brother had the pork belly ramen. The teriyaki veggies with Chef Vera sauce had my mouth watering for more. The pork belly ramen OMG Chef Vera you out done your self. The pork belly ramen was so tender it melted in your mouth leaving your mouth watering for more. The pork belly absorbed all the flavors of the soup and it had such a delicious delicate flavors.

The food was delicious, the servers were very attentive. The ambiance was ok with some sports games playing in the corner, no music to really capture a feeling. Overall would go again if craving sushi in Pahrump.

Chicken teriyaki don

Haven't eaten here for awhile since the last time was horrible. Went today with a group of ladies for lunch. Ordered chicken teriyaki don. By the time my food came which was second to last everyone else was done eating. How hard is it to make a simple dish. Last time their pork tonkatsu was burnt. They said its because of their fryer. Tonkatsu should be a nice golden brown not a dark brown. Server took awhile to bring another cup of ice and to refill water flask. Granted our party was like 18 people. Maybe they need to hire more people or shouldn't accommodate large groups of people. Also Courtney the server doesn't belong in the restaurant business as a server.

Extensive sushi menu, good options for non-sushi goers as well. Super cute DIY ramen bar at the entry. Staff was super helpful and accommodating.. I had a chicken teriyaki bento box with accommodations as I cannot eat fish. We were able to sit at the outdoor patio and enjoy our delicious selections. Looking forward to returning. Everyone's dishes look amazing.

Lunch Special with 7 pieces of nigiri and a Philly roll.

It is nice to see an actual sushi restaurant in Pahrump that has good fish quality. The service does remain a little rocky. We do think it will improve and will return. The lunch special we enjoyed included 7 pieces of nigiri and a basic roll. My favorite roll is generally always the Philadelphia roll. The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean and the staff were generally welcoming.

This restaurant just opened. The sign says "breakfast, sushi, ramen" but they don't open (at least not today) until noon. The lettuce and greens on the house salad were very fresh. The salad was not over dressed and it was a healthy portion for the price. The garlic edamame are a must order. The sauce at the bottom of the dish is almost drinkable. I ordered the garlic albacore nigiri! I will order it every time I come here. The flavors were very well balanced. All in all a great experience. They were very busy but staff was hustling to keep people eating and moving but we did not feel rushed. The kitchen had no problem keeping up with orders. Thanks sushi Yong we will be back, probably weekly.

Being new to Pahrump, I haven't had the chance to experience this town without Sushi Yong, and I'm not sure I'd want to. Being from California, my fiancé loves sushi, and this was an absolute delight to stumble across in town. The prices were good, the portions were nice, and they had a good selection of sushi rolls. I very much enjoyed having the option of getting a server or using the order tablet. My fiancé and I happened to come for dinner on a night where we needed to be quick with our meal, the tablet worked perfectly for that. The food service was fast, we probably weren't in the restaurant for more than 20 minutes total. Everyone was kind, everything looked clean, and I definitely plan on coming back again

MUU BBQ BENTO - Yakinikumayo Onigiri

MUU BBQ BENTO

I was super excited when Muu BBQ Bento opened next to my office because, quite frankly, I am…read moresurrounded by a sea of mediocre restaurants and shitty fast food. Sorry, but Buca di Beppo is a restaurant stuck in the past with dust everywhere and smells like Nila wafers, Cafe Rio is basically Temu Chipotle, and Taco Bell... well, that's just basura. The first time I went to Muu, I noticed the employees were actually Japanese, which was a huge plus. One thing I did notice was that the food takes a little longer than your typical fast food place. But honestly, I would rather wait for my food than have the food waiting for me. I ordered the gyudon bowl, and it immediately reminded me of Yoshinoya. When I lived in California, Yoshinoya was one of my guilty pleasures. SoCal had Yoshinoyas everywhere, and when I moved to the Bay Area, there was only one left in Cupertino. I would literally drive down to the South Bay just to get a beef bowl with red ginger. Yes, I was that guy. Then I moved to Vegas and discovered there were no Yoshinoyas here. I literally shed a tear... So Muu basically fills a very specific hole in my life: beef bowl cravings. And it is not just beef bowls. They have bento boxes, triangle seaweed rice onigiri, and about three weeks ago they added curry bowls. I love making Japanese curry at home, but the problem is that curry smell does not leave your house. It moves in, unpacks its bags, and decides it lives there now. It lingers. So being able to get a good curry bowl without having my house smell like curry for the next three days is a pretty nice bonus. When I don't have a lunch appointment with a client, I will usually call ahead, place my order, walk over, and either eat there or bring it back to my office. Honestly, this is what I love about a small business. Fresh ingredients, good service, reasonable prices, and food that actually feels like somebody cares about what they are serving. I have even gotten one of my coworkers so addicted to this place that I think he eats here four times a week. At this point, I am wondering if I should be getting a referral fee for being his Muu BBQ Bento dealer. They also get a ton of DoorDash orders. If they deliver to you, order it. The food is really good and holds up well for delivery. So if you work in the area and you are tired of the same mediocre chain restaurants, give Muu BBQ Bento a try. I came for the Yoshinoya nostalgia. I stayed for the beef bowls. And now I am working my way through the rest of the menu. I always devour the beef bowls. Will make sure to take a photo next time lol.

I ordered through Door Dash. So unfortunately I haven't…read morebeen inside of the store. We ordered Karaage Bento and Yakiniku Bowl. It was good portion. and Kinpira and everything taste authentic Japanese Karaage bento! just the Karaage was very big piece. so personally I prefer tiny piece and more numbers... My husband and I were nervous because the ratings were so low but it really wasn't that bad. Food was warm, the chicken fried steak with the gravy was pretty yummy. Parfait and fruit was pretty much gone by the time we got there but that's okay! Everything was pretty standard and I'm slightly annoyed by other people's reviews. Yes we bussed our own table but there was someone there cleaning up also. Never felt any pressure to tip. Very clean inside. We asked other people about the dinner buffet and they said it was okay. But again, it was on company dime so we couldn't be too picky. I wouldn't say it was 1.9 rating. There's also a Peet's coffee in the lobby that was pretty consistently busy.

This buffet is decent especially if you like salad bars, steamed veggies and healthy options and it included a drink and desert. They had bbq tofu on cauliflower, chicken on lentils, steak bites on quinoa. They also had kid friendly favorites like chicken tenders, hot dogs, hamburgers and pizza. I went in with low expectations but really enjoyed my lunch. We ate at the Saloon that night but went to take a peak at the buffet which looked like the same ribs in the saloon. They had catfish, bbq chicken, and vegetarian tofu option for dinner. Don't count this out as an option based on reviews. I didn't take pics of my lunch but here are dinner pics.
