We stopped here for breakfast. We had our pup with us so we were going to do take out. When I went in to order the food the hostess, Teresa, (?) offered the back patio. She cleaned off the table and set us up, brought out a bowl of water for Gilda and took our order. Food was delicious. Greek omelet and egg and toast w American fries. We both had the homemade cinnamon toast as well. I would recommend Teresa's diner hand down. Friendly and welcoming! I never remember to take photos of the food! But it was hot and well portioned. This place is a small diner in Harrisville, MI right on US 23. There is a nice assortment of tables, booths, and counter seating. The staff are friendly and quick to acknowledge you and get your coffee or water. I ordered the classic, eggs over medium, hash browns, sausage and sour dough toast. My wife had the biscuits and gravy with a side of scrambled eggs with rye toast. The food was freshly made and delicious. Now the reason that I only rated a 3 star: half way thru the biscuits and gravy the wife found a hair in the second half. We notified the waitress and she offered to replace it but my wife was a bit unsettled and did not want anything else. The owner and waitress were very apologetic for the incident and discounted her breakfast. If it hadn't been for the hair, Teresa's would have rated a 5 star. I still recommend this restaurant as mistakes do happen and I would not hold it against them. I have eaten here previously with no incidents so try them out if you are in the area. read more

Don't order Mexican food on the menu but other than that regular egg breakfast is good... all other on the menu looked real good. Cook should take a few lessons on how to cook Mexican cuisine before offering it on the menu...service is good and the bakery goods look real good please come in and try the regular menu! Ordered chiliquiles but was surprised it was store bought chips with eggs over it and a side of Pace jar of salsa $$$. It was laughable the hubby about cracked up while he enjoyed his pancakes and bacon. He said you want a Mexican breakfast than go to a Mexican restaurant. So true is that realization. Nice new restaurant located in the old Flour garden where the new business is owned and operated by the one of the old waitstaff of the flour garden. This restaurant offers very good food at a very fair price , especially in light of todays inflation driven higher prices that have become all too common place. For my first meal here I Ordered their classic Breakfast for $8 that include 2 eggs to order, Choice of potato and choice meat With toast My food was tasty and cooked to perfection where the eggs were medium (meaning not runny whites which are a huge turn off for me), fresh made American fries and three slices of thicker cut bacon. My toast was very thick slices of swirled Rye which is not that common in my opinion, which was excellent and I highly recommend. Overall an excellent meal at a pocket friendly price that you will be hard pressed to match in comparison to the Metro Detroit area. Relative to the Facility it is a bit rustic (in a nice way), clean and offering a very comfortable an casual dining environment. Staff like many of the business' up north was super friendly with great follow up through out the meal. The Other key item to note is this restaurant opens at 7:3Oam which is a key thing for me as I am an early riser and there are so few restaurants that open before 8am these days. So something to keep in mind, especially if you are are trying to get an early start on the day! Overall a very positive first dining experience for me where I will definately be returning in the future. if you are in the greater Harrisville area you should definitely check this business out if you are looking for breakfast or Lunch as as this business appears to be hitting on all cylinders and is definitely worthy of your support. read more

We ate here a few times the food is delicious, the staff is great it's a happy place to eat definitely a small town atmosphere you walk in and not only are you greeted by someone behind the front even the customers say hi. You really feel welcomed like I said the food is really great when you leave you are happier your belly is full and because of the wonderful hospitality and atmosphere inside from everyone it just makes your day that much better. Oh and the waitresses all work together your coffee cup never gets low. Lol if ever in Harrisville stop in Teresa's you will be happy you did. read more

Dropped in for Breakfast after packing up at the campground. Don't let the outdated eclectic decor fool you. The service is straight out of Mel's Diner, it's like eating at your favorite family's house..and the food is even better. My Greek omelette was delicious with fresh spinach ample feta and cooked perfectly. House potatoes were nicely seasoned and cooked/cut in house from fresh potatoes. My wife had a simple breakfast and hers was prepared nicely and eggs cooked perfectly. Nice little spot with a small but tasty looking bakery at the checkout of in house baked goods. So glad to see new owners take over. The Flour Garden was always a must stop when staying there. Eggs Benedict are good as is the rest of the menu. One of us Ordered blueberry pancakes and had to use a knife to cut them. Very tough/over cooked. I ordered what was supposed to be chilaquiles. Apparently they don't know what that is. They put plain scrambled eggs over a few raw tortilla chips with a small side cup of Pace salsa for $12. 3 flour tortillas on the side. There are hundreds of recipes online, maybe should look one up or just take it off the menu. read more

First time visitors today--we are so excited having a place that serves breakfast all day (well, until 2:30, anyway)! It was busy when we arrived about 12:30, but food and service were both great. Prices reasonable, too! So wonderful to have another solid choice in town!! read more
