Just before noon, MayLee (sorry about the spelling) opened the door and let us in. She said we could get looking or we could make ourselves comfortable. We waited for the bride who was last to arrive. Once she arrived, they picked out a few dresses. There was a very large mirror and a platform for the bride to stand on. She tried on a handful of dresses, but circled back to the first dress. Kaylee was so good about making sure the dress fit well before showing it off to the family. She listened to what the bride wanted or didn't want. We spent about an hour there, and she said yes to the dress. We had a great time and it was a very good experience for us.

The in-house alterations on my wedding dress were poorly done, including an uneven illusion neckline, white thread on nude mesh, and jagged stitching. When I raised my concerns and requested a partial refund because I no longer trusted the alterations, I expected professionalism. Instead, the OWNER told me I was a "HORRIBLE person" for letting her know I'd post a review and pictures of their quality of work. She also stated that she "didn't earn a dime" from me because I purchased my dress on sale, so she didn't care if I was an upset customer. Whether a dress is purchased on sale or at full price should never determine how a customer is treated. The poor workmanship was disappointing, but the owner's response and customer service were far worse. I ultimately had to pay someone else to repair the dress before my wedding. I expect businesses to stand behind their work and treat customers with respect. Unfortunately, that was FAR from my experience at Ann Matthews Bridal.

Decided to give this place a try and was incredibly happy with everything. First of all, it was easy to make an appointment online, and was given reminders by text. When I arrived at the shop JulieAnn was there to great me and could not have been nicer! She was super friendly and knowledgeable and understood exactly what we needed. And, the prices were very reasonable. Work was done in just a few days, and I had my shorts in time to enjoy the weekend! The shop itself is really cool. JulieAnn makes all kinds of fabulous clothes and masks and purses and bags. I'll post some photos so that you can see how nice her custom creations are! Overall, a five star experience!!
