The restaurant is easily accessible and there is plenty of parking. Rae's is located in a strip mall and there appeared to be significant amount of traffic. There weren't many people eating, just some regulars but it made for a peaceful dining experience. Plenty of breakfast options to choose from for a meal. I ordered a side pancake and the waitress gave me a look. She said "Honey, these are big!" I thanked her for the warning and told her I loved leftovers. lol The food was great and the pancakes were huge. Very satisfying and comforting food. Hit the spot on a cold January day. Prices were very reasonable and well within range. One happy customer!

I don't usually like breakfast potatoes. I do now. The potatoes were bite sized, had the skins on them, were seasoned, but not hot. The potatoes were well cooked but not mushy had a crisp exterior. What I really enjoyed was my biscuit and Gravy. The Gravy was perfect. It had me thinking about how delish it was later in the week. There was enough food to take home fir a second meal. There is a homey feel to the restaurant and the manager waits tables!! Mr. G. Reported an issue with the men's restroom and it was attended to immediately. Definite going back when I want Biscuits and Gravy.

We were seated right away as a party of 8, which was great for a larger group. Unfortunately, the experience this time was really slow when it came to food service. Our food took about 45 minutes to arrive, and we noticed smaller tables that were seated after us received their meals, ate, and left before we even got ours. Our server also walked past our table several times without giving any updates, which was frustrating while waiting. We typically go to the Liberty location because we've had better experiences there. This visit just wasn't the best, but we do like the overall vibe of the restaurant and hope service improves at this location.

The food was good, but the fries had been under the warmer for much longer than it should have and felt soggy and lifeless. I would like to try the food again at a corner cafe with good service (this was my first time eating at corner cafe) The inside was very similar to most other brunch spots with a bit of a country theme. The atmosphere felt off with all the customers crammed in one section of the restaurant with the rest of the restaurant left vacant with the lights off.

They offer daily specials, weekly trivia contests, and a live music. Entertainers generally play live music several nights a week. Sinclairs host mostly acoustic performers, mainly on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Most of the entertainers feature guitar playing solo artists in the bar area. As for the food... it's all pretty tasty. Served in an upscale fashion. And worth mentioning is THE ABSOLUTE BEST MEATLOAF I have ever eaten outside of my own kitchen; and yes, possibly even better than my own... which speaks volumes because I'm generally an excellent cook and extremely particular diner. (Not bragging - just emphasizing that my standards are high). This meatloaf is hearty, rich, and moist, with a firm meaty texture (Not over done with fillers). It's cut generously and served over freshly mashed potatoes topped with a complex & flavorful sauce I'd liken to a rich brown gravy with a hint of herbs & possibly a tad bit of steak sauce for good measure... Its the star. I just wished they served this on their daily menu! Speaking of... their entire menu is thoughtfully made, and the chef deserves major kudos for their talents in the kitchen. I will go with friends in tow to enjoy a night off in the kitchen, to enjoy some of the best meals our city has to offer. Looking for something do? Sports Watch Parties are a good time: Sinclair's serve as the neighborhood hub when it comes to watching our very own Kansas City Chiefs play. There was a wait of about 20 min-- not bad. I was excited that the food would be fresh! The music was quite loud, but I suppose that's to be expected of any place on a weekend night. When we sat down, we were given chips and salsa. When we asked for hot salsa, it was an extra charge. Even though most Mexican places provide a spicy version at no charge, we went ahead and decided to try it. I wouldn't recommend it. The flavor was almost bitter, and it didn't seem fresh. I ordered the quesadilla with shredded chicken, and it arrived sopping wet. The tortilla on the bottom was soggy, and I ended up having to heat it with a fork and knife. There was barely any cheese. The side of beans lacked in flavor. The only highlight of the dinner was their queso. However, at $8 for their smallest portion, I felt like it would have been easier to just buy Gordo's queso from the store and eat it at home. To top it off, I felt like the restaurant was dirty. If you look closely at the chairs, walls near the tables, under the tables, and in corners, it feels like the surfaces haven't been cleaned properly. If I were to recommend some place else in the area that's comparable in terms of type of food and ambiance, I'd recommend Palacio Maya in Independence (not the one in the Northland).

It did NOT disappoint. They have a variety of breads, protein choices and accruements to embellish their sandwiches. SUPER tasty and GREAT plating makes their food mighty tempting. Vance, the young man who took our orders, was knowledgeable about selections and patient with we "newbies". The layout appears to be a "fast food joint". Nothing could be further from the truth. Genuine silverware with REAL "LIVE" PLATES, ROOMY, comfortable booths or table and chairs makes for a relaxing environment. Allowing for lingering and conversation with good friends. First day of a new job Lunch!…read more New to this side of town and stopped in here for a little comfort of something I recognized. The Atmosphere - Well it was clean and tidy. Again there is little personality to most locations these days yet the functionality and the ability to clean quickly is at a premium. But, there is little about the restaurant that is comfortable or memorable. So this gets the standard 3 stars. The Staff - I had the good fortune to interact with several of the staff members this time. And ALL of them were extremely nice, kind, and friendly. They went out of their way to check on me several times and remind me that I could get a refill on my drink. They gall at the checkout even offered to bring me the desert that I had on rewards that was set to expire soon. Some of the best Customer Service I have seen in a while. - 5 stars. The Food - Well this is the number one reason to swing in. They have a number of great creations and options to pick more than one. They do let you customize a sandwich should you want. I think this is as good as it gets (unless you head to a "real" deli where YOU decide what is on the sandwich. This visit I had the Pick 2 (which is common) where I had a fantastic Club sandwich and a Chef salad. Pretty healthy over all. (I used extra dressing and ate brookie bites so scratch the healthiness). 4 stars Overall - This was a fantastic visit to an old favorite. The food could have just a little more wow... and by now you all know how I feel about the clean/institutional look and feel of eateries. A perfect lunch space. I'll be back often as they are good, healthyish, and close.

Transitioning straight from the blistering sun into the dim foyer is a hazard--if you pay attention like a distracted squirrel, you will stumble downward toward your destination. Proceed with caution. The Defense Steps In: Once you survive the descent, the Defense presents a compelling case. The interior is sleek, mercifully air-conditioned, and remarkably clean despite the moody lighting. Our party was seated almost immediately, and our server was a delight. Exhibit A: The Rum Root Beer Float The Defense recommended this beverage, and while it tasted fantastic, the Prosecution requests exploratory evidence as to whether any actual rum was present. Multiple eyewitnesses at the table cross-examined their own floats and reached the exact same conclusion: zero detectable alcohol. Exhibit B: The Club Sandwich with Fries This main course will win over any jury. Perfectly toasted bread points loaded with roast beef, ham bacon, and a bacon jam that delivers a total flavor bomb. Absolute slam-dunk. Final Verdict: Aside from one co-counsel physically banging their head during the proceedings, the court dismisses all charges. I render my final ruling: a great place with solid food. Case closed!

We'll be loyal patrons for life! So glad they opened this location so close to our home. They also serve up the best fresh squeezed lemonade ice ever had... I ordered the mint flavored lemonade. However, they have cherry, strawberry, and blueberry as well.. all fresh made to order. Only one size... about 32 ounces... also enough to share!
