I usually don't write 5 star reviews but, all I can say is wow! We stopped int to this place on our way into the mountains. I had my two littles with me. It was a lovely day date with my kids. The food was great, the staff made me feel welcomed and the place was incredibly clean. Great Hidden Gem :) It was a nice break from the fast food we had been eating on the trip. Our point person there was Carol and the was an excellent person to ask questions about the menu and local attractions. Thanks for making this trip up to the mountains wonderful Carol! Food is pretty good, you have to know how to order or you may get something that you may not like, for the most part the food is good. They need to organize their condiments area, no spoons so if you serve yourself you need to ask them for one. They still give the same old lousy service. I tried to call them to find out why my order is so delayed, but I could not reach a live person. Basic Japanese: my Daughter who lived in Japan for 8 years, says the food authentic: I say it's good. Basics like yaki soba, and fried rice. I'm much attached to the sushi lunch: soup or salad (I like miso soup or seaweed salad) and two of a selection of sushi rolls. I'm also a fan of the poke bowl: it's a lot of food. Stopped off in Blairsville to catch the first UGA game, decided to stay since there was rain in the area and we were on bikes. We ordered DoorDash and we had a great experience. Food was flavorful. Ordered hibachi shrimp and chicken, and some sushi rolls. All were very good. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food and the quality even through DoorDash. Stopped in for lunch today, had a great meal (chicken hibachi), lady at counter was extremely personable and friendly, food was excellent, and when I got outside my car wouldn't start. A nice man pulled up in ford truck and gave me a ride to auto zone to get parts i needed, even let me use some of his own tools, come to find out he was the restaurants owner. great people here highly recommend! read more

I am very pleased with the fantastic service I have received from the prompt staff at this restaurant. The food is cooked well and has a nice flavor to it as well. I will say I wish that they had a few ramen options other then just one. Also the extra noodle option mixes Yakisoba noodles with ramen noodles which is odd. Wife and I stopped off here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the food. I had the Japanese chop suet with shrimp and wifey got the Hawaiian chicken w/ pineapple. Pricing was moderate $$. I have to say surprised me and I wanted some Sushi rolls so I ordered online and took the food home. As someone who used to be around sushi all the time the rice is half the flavor profile needed. My rule-Taste then presentation? The rice is almost perfect not like others around here. The fish was sweet and represented its intention of whatever the role was to be. I have been a loyal customer of Teppanyaki Time for almost a year, and am finally able to settle down and write a long over due review (it may be a bit long winded). Typically I go there once a week during my lunch break from work and order the house salad with extra ginger dressing and the Billy Eilish. The house salad is always fresh and crisp, and has nice slices of avacoda (I'd never had that on a salad before, but man it's good!!). I've eaten almost every sushi roll on the menu, and they are all really delicious. The Billy Eilish is a roll is a always a super tasty surprise that Chef Brian Kim has created. It's a great option for me because I love sushi, and always have trouble picking out what roll I want. Like I said I've been coming here almost once a week for a year, and guess what??? They remember my name! The customer service is amazing! My coworkers always enjoy joining me there for lunch, because they know it'll be an awesome experience with great food. Most of them don't eat sushi, but they love the other dishes like the ramen and stir fry. Like I said, I have dined in alone almost weekly for over a year. I've never sat in the dining room awkwardly fumbling my chopsticks in silence, feeling like I'm taking up space. The staff are always super friendly regardless of whether you are alone or in a group. The atmosphere is always fun! They have good music playing, and something entertaining on the tv. For a strip-mall eatery, this place was surprisingly good and it wasn't just the food. My wife and I were greeted immediately upon entering and our hostess/waitress/manager was above and beyond with regard to friendliness and courtesy, the down-home style, and that was refreshing in and of itself. The cafe itself is a little bit harum scarum, you can eat inside or on the sidewalk outside, but the bustle of the place was our first clue that it would probably be worth our time and money. We had the California Roll, the Hibachi Plate - I chose shrimp as the protein; the wife had the Fried Rice Bowl. All three were truly outstanding and I mean... from the huge portions to the cook the chef put on the ingredients: Shrimp absolutely perfect and springy, and the California Roll was super-fresh down to the avocado. I was a bit taken aback that a place so small could produce such fresh and tasty Japanese food and we will absolutely be back. This place has a counter type service style. You order at the counter, pay, sit down and they bring it to you. The server Carol was very friendly and rather perky . They brought my food quickly. The sushi was made with fresh ingredients. The dynamite roll was particularly tasty. The edamame was salted just right. The decor was what you'd expect from a counter restaurant, fresh and clean but not particularly romantic. All in all a good experience. read more

I'm sorry, but way overpriced for what was offered in their signature Teppanyaki Bowl, mine with shrimp my wife's with chicken. Thinly sliced carrots, a few small pieces of onion and zucchini and some shrimp or chicken, which tasted bland. The fried rice that came with the plate was very dry and soy sauce was used to add flavor and moisture! Plastic utensils, plates and small glasses were provided, after you stood online to order. After paying for your meal and leaving a tip before the meal was served, you could fill your own plastic drink glass. The chairs were very uncomfortable and background music was not appropriate for a Japanese themed restaurant. $40.00 for lunch for two, with plastic silverware???? I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!! read more

Was looking forward to trying this restaurant today. Hoping Blairsville was improving its offerings. The description of the teppanyaki "bowl" was not as expected. I had it with chicken and my friend had it with tofu. It was disappointing, boring and bland Americanized Japanese food. The "vegetables" in my bowl were only sliced carrots with one price of onion and a half a piece of zucchini. Really??? The sauce barely coated the chicken and was tasteless. There was no flavorful experience to be had. And isn't a "bowl" supposed to be served in a bowl?!? With sauce?!? Price was definitely high for this very mediocre meal. Ramen is advertised on their windows and walls. It is also pictured on their website, however, they have no ramen on the menu. I ordered a "bowl" with shrimp as the protein. It included 9 small shrimp and about 4 cups of rice for $14. The food was okay, but it was very expensive for 9 small shrimp. What's the deal with no Ramen?
