I usually don't write 5 star reviews but, all I can say is wow! We stopped int to this place on our way into the mountains. I had my two littles with me. It was a lovely day date with my kids. The food was great, the staff made me feel welcomed and the place was incredibly clean. Great Hidden Gem :) It was a nice break from the fast food we had been eating on the trip. Our point person there was Carol and the was an excellent person to ask questions about the menu and local attractions. Thanks for making this trip up to the mountains wonderful Carol! Will be going back next time we are traveling up there! read more

Love the food service and atmosphere! The restaurant is always clean. The staff is super friendly and great place to take your kids.

Food is pretty good, you have to know how to order or you may get something that you may not like, for the most part the food is good. They need to organize their condiments area, no spoons so if you serve yourself you need to ask them for one. The service is great, ambience is so so, nothing special with hard top tables cold and uninviting , I always carry out. read more

Stumbled into this Japanese gem on Saturday and, holy sushi, the food was delicious. The udon broth? I'd bathe in it if I could. Five stars for the kitchen wizards. But the girl at the counter? She looked like she'd rather be counting grains of rice in a warehouse than taking my order. Good food, sad service. read more

Basic Japanese: my Daughter who lived in Japan for 8 years, says the food authentic: I say it's good. Basics like yaki soba, and fried rice. I'm much attached to the sushi lunch: soup or salad (I like miso soup or seaweed salad) and two of a selection of sushi rolls. I'm also a fan of the poke bowl: it's a lot of food. It's informal, pop music plays, staff friendly and efficient. Get a pot of green tea with your meal. read more

Teppanyaki Time - The tuna poke bowl - Japanese Near Me - Blairsville, Georgia

It has been over a year since I placed an order with Teppanyaki Time, primarily because of the poor service. Well, I decided to give them a try again! What a mistake! They still give the same old lousy service. I tried to call them to find out why my order is so delayed, but I could not reach a live person. This will certainly be the last order I ever place with this poor service restaurant. Folks, don't waste your time or money on this place. You will be disappointed! read more

The sushi is very good. The other food we had was mediocre at best. Not very tasty. The ambiance is store front but very clean. The service was friendly and hospitable. Not bad for our small town. We will try it again soon. read more

Best bento box I've ever had. The seaweed salad was especially good. I'll definitely be back often!

5/5 stars some of the best sushi i've ever had! my husband and i were expecting much but it was AMAZING! i couldn't recommend it more.

Stopped off in Blairsville to catch the first UGA game, decided to stay since there was rain in the area and we were on bikes. We ordered DoorDash and we had a great experience. Food was flavorful. Ordered hibachi shrimp and chicken, and some sushi rolls. All were very good. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food and the quality even through DoorDash. Megan Fox roll, a spicy tuna roll and for my wife, some sort of fried California roll. read more

Stopped in for lunch today, had a great meal (chicken hibachi), lady at counter was extremely personable and friendly, food was excellent, and when I got outside my car wouldn't start. A nice man pulled up in ford truck and gave me a ride to auto zone to get parts i needed, even let me use some of his own tools, come to find out he was the restaurants owner. great people here highly recommend! read more

Solid Japanese Teppanyaki fare with nice starters, salads, soups, proteins, and Hibachi plates (my favorite). Consistency with both my dine-in experiences and to go orders. Friendly staff who are both helpful for those what they want or need some guidance. Recommend this quaint little restaurant as an option for lunch or dinner while in Blairsville or surrounding area. read more

Wife and I stopped off here for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the food. I had the Japanese chop suet with shrimp and wifey got the Hawaiian chicken w/ pineapple. Pricing was moderate $$. Well worth the money. Food is prepared to order so if they're busy there is a wait especially if they have a lot of pick up to take out. We enjoyed our time there. read more

I am very pleased with the fantastic service I have received from the prompt staff at this restaurant. The food is cooked well and has a nice flavor to it as well. I will say I wish that they had a few ramen options other then just one. Also the extra noodle option mixes Yakisoba noodles with ramen noodles which is odd. But all around I love the food and the atmosphere if you want a tasty easy to eat dish try the Yakisoba with salmon. read more

I was excited to get some healthy veggies and I ordered two bowls with no rice, shrimp and extra veggies. The shrimp was very flavorful but I ended up with huge bowls of oily onions with a few carrots and squash. I want this restaurant to make it in Blairsville as my family loves Asian food, but there needs to be some improvements. read more

We loved it! Great little place for great food. Clean, friendly and the sushi as well as Hibachi was awesome. We will be back. Highway 129 roll was perfect, the music was also great. 80's music playing while eating sushi. Awesome ! read more

I dinner here last night with our family and enjoyed a great meal from Chef Brian and the team! The restaurant was pretty busy, but the food still came out fast and hot. We shared a sushi as an app, then had Poke Bowls as our main entree. Everything was delicious, fresh, and well seasoned. We'll be back! read more

Teppanyaki Time - I forgot the name of the one on the upper left. Kardashian Roll (right) - Japanese Near Me - Blairsville, Georgia

Food was great as I got a lunch bento box with some spicy tuna rolls and service too.

Yellow tail appetizer at 5 tiny pieces Of fish. Soft shell crab, I couldn't find the crab with all the batter on it. I'm not sure if there was crab in it. read more

I have to say surprised me and I wanted some Sushi rolls so I ordered online and took the food home. As someone who used to be around sushi all the time the rice is half the flavor profile needed. My rule-Taste then presentation? The rice is almost perfect not like others around here. The fish was sweet and represented its intention of whatever the role was to be. Service was great friendly and timely. Nice! Next time, I will eat in and really enjoy it. Keep up the good work. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Teppanyaki Time for almost a year, and am finally able to settle down and write a long over due review (it may be a bit long winded). Typically I go there once a week during my lunch break from work and order the house salad with extra ginger dressing and the Billy Eilish. The house salad is always fresh and crisp, and has nice slices of avacoda (I'd never had that on a salad before, but man it's good!!). I've eaten almost every sushi roll on the menu, and they are all really delicious. The Billy Eilish is a roll is a always a super tasty surprise that Chef Brian Kim has created. It's a great option for me because I love sushi, and always have trouble picking out what roll I want. Like I said I've been coming here almost once a week for a year, and guess what??? They remember my name! The customer service is amazing! My coworkers always enjoy joining me there for lunch, because they know it'll be an awesome experience with great food. Most of them don't eat sushi, but they love the other dishes like the ramen and stir fry. Like I said, I have dined in alone almost weekly for over a year. I've never sat in the dining room awkwardly fumbling my chopsticks in silence, feeling like I'm taking up space. The staff are always super friendly regardless of whether you are alone or in a group. The atmosphere is always fun! They have good music playing, and something entertaining on the tv. If your working driving distance of Blairsville (Union County GA), Teppanyaki Time is worth the drive for sure! read more

For a strip-mall eatery, this place was surprisingly good and it wasn't just the food. My wife and I were greeted immediately upon entering and our hostess/waitress/manager was above and beyond with regard to friendliness and courtesy, the down-home style, and that was refreshing in and of itself. The cafe itself is a little bit harum scarum, you can eat inside or on the sidewalk outside, but the bustle of the place was our first clue that it would probably be worth our time and money. We had the California Roll, the Hibachi Plate - I chose shrimp as the protein; the wife had the Fried Rice Bowl. All three were truly outstanding and I mean... from the huge portions to the cook the chef put on the ingredients: Shrimp absolutely perfect and springy, and the California Roll was super-fresh down to the avocado. I was a bit taken aback that a place so small could produce such fresh and tasty Japanese food and we will absolutely be back. The food was above average, no doubt, but it was the service and feel-good vibe of the lady who took care of us that made it five stars. read more

One star for the rock n roll vibe, one for the nice girl taking orders and running food. Zero fir the food itself. Nothing we had was good. My sushi roll took forever and came out missing half of its ingredients. By that time I was so hungry that I just ate it and left, vowing never to return read more

This place has a counter type service style. You order at the counter, pay, sit down and they bring it to you. The server Carol was very friendly and rather perky . They brought my food quickly. The sushi was made with fresh ingredients. The dynamite roll was particularly tasty. The edamame was salted just right. The decor was what you'd expect from a counter restaurant, fresh and clean but not particularly romantic. All in all a good experience. read more

Teppanyaki Time - Teppanyaki Time - Japanese Near Me - Blairsville, Georgia

I enjoyed what I had and will return to try more. For being a place that you order at the counter, I thought the quality was good. The options for Asian in the area are slim. I hate that all the other reviews are bad for this place because I believe it is worth giving it a try. read more

I wish they were consistent. We had miso soup yesterday that was murky water with cold tofu....sushi was not as good as last time. Consistency would be nice. read more

Sushi on Sunday is hit or miss in blairsville. This was a miss for me but use your own judgement. Blairsville itself needs to be a little more accommodating towards restaurants. Sunday is tough to find a restaurant open! read more

I'm sorry, but way overpriced for what was offered in their signature Teppanyaki Bowl, mine with shrimp my wife's with chicken. Thinly sliced carrots, a few small pieces of onion and zucchini and some shrimp or chicken, which tasted bland. The fried rice that came with the plate was very dry and soy sauce was used to add flavor and moisture! Plastic utensils, plates and small glasses were provided, after you stood online to order. After paying for your meal and leaving a tip before the meal was served, you could fill your own plastic drink glass. The chairs were very uncomfortable and background music was not appropriate for a Japanese themed restaurant. $40.00 for lunch for two, with plastic silverware???? I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!! read more

This place is fire , really nice owner , it's dope , there are fast and also friendly the inside feels really nice they play tv and they have a nice dining area read more

Went back for a second try at this restaurant. To say I was disappointed will be in understatement. Won't be going back, the food was not good. Don't know what happened but the service was horrible it was freezing cold and the food was barely edible. Too bad. read more

I am really not one to write bad reviews, but unfortunately this has to be the worst Japanese food we've ever had. Where I'm from you can get a huge portion of actually good food for a much cheaper price. I'm talking $8 for a meal that you can eat for lunch and reheat the rest for dinner! I can't even express my disappointment. You pay a lot for a tiny amount of food that doesn't look or taste good. We got fried rice and a sushi roll. Just something edible would've been nice. read more

Was looking forward to trying this restaurant today. Hoping Blairsville was improving its offerings. The description of the teppanyaki "bowl" was not as expected. I had it with chicken and my friend had it with tofu. It was disappointing, boring and bland Americanized Japanese food. The "vegetables" in my bowl were only sliced carrots with one price of onion and a half a piece of zucchini. Really??? The sauce barely coated the chicken and was tasteless. There was no flavorful experience to be had. And isn't a "bowl" supposed to be served in a bowl?!? With sauce?!? Price was definitely high for this very mediocre meal. We will both be taking our business elsewhere. Wish I had read the accurate reviews first and saved my $. read more

Ramen is advertised on their windows and walls. It is also pictured on their website, however, they have no ramen on the menu. I ordered a "bowl" with shrimp as the protein. It included 9 small shrimp and about 4 cups of rice for $14. The food was okay, but it was very expensive for 9 small shrimp. What's the deal with no Ramen? I don't think I'll be going back. read more

We had a great experience and the food is delicious! Already placed a repeat order. Very helpful staff as well.

Our table was dirty and had not been wiped off, the food was grossly overpriced and not very tasty. We will not return!
