The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel taken care of from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious and came out quickly. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, and the ramen was especially satisfying. You can tell they put real care into both the food and the overall dining experience. Service was smooth and efficient without ever feeling rushed, and everyone we interacted with was kind and professional. It was one of those meals where you leave already thinking about coming back. I would absolutely recommend Ramen Izakaya to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. I'll definitely be returning!

I ordered the ramen and, unfortunately, the broth just didn't have as much flavor as I was hoping for. It was fairly mild and tasted a little flat, so I found myself wishing there was more depth and seasoning. The pork was also not quite what I expected. The quality seemed a little lower than other ramen places I've tried, and the meat didn't have the tenderness or flavor I was looking for. There also weren't a ton of toppings included, so the bowl felt somewhat simple compared with other ramen spots. I also tried the meatballs, which were also pretty disappointing. The texture and overall quality weren't really to my taste, and unfortunately I came across a few small bits of bone while eating them. I know things like that can occasionally happen, but it definitely took away from the experience and made me a little hesitant to finish them. On the positive side, the food was prepared pretty quickly, which I appreciated.

Simply for his soul alone I deove home excited to try his sushi for the first time, and man was it super delish!!! I especially appreciate the variety of eel options, something some other sushi places don't have. Everything was bomb, but my top two favorites were the baked garlic shrimp roll and the dragon roll. The crispie rice with spicy tuna was good, but ive had better and I believe he torched/baked the tuna instead of it being raw. Overall, Id get sushi from here again and if theres an off chance no one is there, my husband and I would def love to chitchat with while receiving our orders and eating in-front of him bar style. You will not be going here for the ambiance and aesthetics, but you will be getting raw down to earth service. A great hole in the wall!

There are not enough characters to give a detailed account, but in short I ordered food through the…read morewebsite, and since the wait time was longer then expected I decided to cancel. There was no option on the website to cancel, but since I was already at the resturant I decided to cancel in person. When I tried cancelling this is what happened, a server cancelled my order in the kitchen, despite me being unable to cancel the payment part, was made to wait an additional 20 minutes (The total wait time was an hour) while never once being able to directly speak with a mananger, also while I waited the server sheepishly avoided eye contact with me, was then given the managers phone # to resolve the issue later in the evening only to never be contacted, got a notification two hours later that my order was picked up (impossible), had to go in the next morning, finally talked to the manager, was forced to wait an additional 20min while being ignored only to find out that this whole time I had to contact doordash or corporate. Time I could have gotten back if the people were up front about being unable to resolve the issue in store. All the while I was dealing with issues of pain and so was not prepared for a task as simple as a refund to be a two day journey. Now my main issue is not so much with the workers at the branch, I think corporate is largely to blame for this situation. My only critiques of the service are as follows: If you didn't have an answer, just say you don't know or you can't do that. Don't cancel an order in the kitchen until the customer cancels the order in the app. If your making a customer wait, just occasionally acknowledge them so they don't feel forgotten or like they are being avoided. I'm not new, I use to work in customer service and I've been made to wait before, but generally someone just occasionally gives you a fake smile and says "we're still working on it" and don't sheepishly try to avoid eye contact. For corporate my issues are as follows. On the website you should give an option to cancel the order, and if not at least make it clear to the customer that they have to contact DoorDash. The phone number you posted in the 'Help Me' section, it's a dead number. Doesn't seem unreasonable to give you restaurant branches the ability to cancel or edit orders at store locations. If corporate can't do that, you should let your employees know that issues like that needs to be handled either through corporate or doordash to save time. The stores are clearly understaffed and so employee's are unable to problem solve when issues come up because they are busy. If properly staffed, this problem could have been handled relatively quickly. In the past when I was so inconvenienced by the service, restaurants usually either waived the fee, offered free items or a gift card, because they actually cared. To be offered nothing, not even a proper apology def. Makes me feel like SilverLake Ramen doesn't really give a crap about anything but making money.

I wasn't sure if we had enough time since the validation is only free for 3 hours if you watch a movie, but we were able to make it in enough time. I'm not really a ramen person but my son just got a jaw expander, so I wanted him to have something he could eat pretty easy. Once we arrived we were seated pretty quick. The host was nice and tried to get us on the patio but it was packed, so we grabbed a booth in the corner next to the little bar section. They were quick to take our order and the food arrived shortly after. We ordered the: Handmade Fried Pork Gyoza Crispy Chicken Karaage Curry Bowl The Shoyu Ramen Cut California Roll My oldest kid really loved the sushi, while my youngest did not. my friend thought the Curry bowl was amazing, and my oldest son picked at his shoyu ramen. I had a feeling he didn't like it but he said it was too hot. I loved the pork gyoza but wasn't really a fan of the chicken karaage. The few pieces I had felt like it was the fried fat pieces of the chicken but maybe I got some bad pieces. So it was pretty much a mix of opinions. This is my review, so I'll go as far as to say, I would order the pork gyoza again but I wouldn't order the chicken karaage. However, I do want to try the Cajun Mazemen if we come again, but it wouldn't be any time soon. Overall, this place is solid and I think if you love ramen, give it a shot. For not being a big ramen fan, I still think the place was nice, clean, had excellent service and the food came out quick. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

Fish is fresh. A little too much sauce (ponzu) for my taste. Would have preferred a little cleaner and to dip myself. Sweet shrimp - also a standout. VERY SWEET. Fresh. Heads were delicious. Sugar Daddy Roll - scallop on outside, yellowtail on inside. Everything was fresh. Again a little heavy on the sauce so taste was overwhelmed by the ponzu. But tasty. Could use a textural element. Service was friendly though only one server for everything. She did well! Sushi chef not uber friendly but did ask how we liked everything. Atmosphere is okay. Parking was easy when we were there on a weekday at 1 pm. Would I go again? DEFINITELY.
