Decided to give this place a try and one word. Horrible!! Never eat here. Staff are rude and the food wasn't even warm as if it was sitting all day. It wasn't even good. There are far better buffets in the DMV. Don't waste your money. The manager, front desk staff and waiters attitude was very off putting as if they didn't want to serve us. Overall don't even waste your time

During my hair break, I came here for lunch. Paid at the counter. I think it was about $14 plus a tip. They provide plastic forks to dine with. I did scope the sushi bar, but nothing was a winner for me. I really had a hard time finding anything worth eating but picked up some sautéed vegetables and tried different varieties of chicken. Some items were not worth eating again, but overall, it is a buffet. Had issues trying to get some cream for my tea. But the young lady brought a carton of half and and half and I explained to her yes that is what I wanted. The man up front gave me such a hard time about the creamer. Some people do take cream in their tea.

This place is okay if you get there when they first open, other than that the food is dry and depleted.

Great place for lunch and a variety of food. I like the egg drop soup and hot and sour soup.

I was here for lunch around noon and the sushi looked ok, but not particularly fresh. (I'm not saying it wasn't fresh, just that it looked like it had been sitting around). It tasted fine. There is a broccoli with chicken and broccoli with beef stir fry. The broccoli in each were outstanding. Fresh, crisp and delicious. Two baked fish entrees (salmon and a white fish) - both were very good. Nothing fancy - just tasty fish. There's a fried fish (tilapia or some type of white fish) that was very good. The breading was tasty and not too thick. There's a cocktail sauce on the salad bar that is good and goes well with this dish. The hot and sour soup was tasty. Broth was a little thick, likely from corn starch. Less corn starch and the soup would be great (although some people like a thick broth). I didn't do the hibachi. There's also a chocolate fountain that I didn't use. There's a nice variety of fresh fruit. And I was impressed by the juiciness of the oranges and the melon. Extensive salad bar and good selection of items for dessert. Overall, a good buffet at a good price point for lunch and, I think, also for dinner. The servers were friendly and worked to remove plates and to keep drinks from going empty. The place is large and comfortable.

We handed extra $10 cash (on top of the auto gratuity), she pointed to her 2 coworkers who didn't even serve us directly and said "no $5 each". Mind you, it's a BUFFET -- so they just cleaned the table and got us water (never even refilled)!!! Shocked, I still gave the extra tips... we were also split to 2 tables. Food was ok but def not worth the $$ we spent. My ? is, are do you not pay your workers or are you keeping my auto-gratuity???

My cook name was Raz and he was pretty good. He was quick, very polite accommodating and professional. I was surprised they didn't make us wait for a whole table to fill up like most hibachi's do. The food was really good and the drinks were ok. Only issue was the drinks took a long time to be prepared which I didn't understand because there were only a handful of full of people there and they were wrapping it up when I arrived. This was overall a great dining experience and I'm sure I'll return for another experience.

We were looking forward for a fun, dining experience for our grandmother's birthday. Unfortunately,…read morethe experience was lackluster. Ambiance: We visited on a Friday around 1pm, and the place was completely empty. I don't need it to be packed to capacity, but when you are coming for a birthday, you want the place to be lively. The restaurant has TVs, but the Hibachi doesn't, so it felt pretty lame. Service: The service felt apathetic. Our waitress seemed a bit unenthused. We noted that one person in our party had a shellfish allergy. This seemed to put the waitress in a bit of a panic. She came back afterward with a list of ingredient and insisted that we take a picture of the ingredients listing. I explained to her that I didn't need to take a photo. She insisted. Finally, I had to say, "I promise, we are not going to sue you. All you have to simply do is not give one person any shrimp." The chef gave a really watered down performance, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt. When he did the first fire trick, a couple of people jumped back in fear. So, I think he decided to keep it very vanilla, so I will give a pass, but it did make for a boring experience. He also gave me fried rice instead of steamed, but no biggie. They did give grandma a birthday dessert, so bonus points for that. Food: I thought the food was pretty good. One person thought the rice was too salty. Other than that, it was typical hibachi. It actually tasted better as leftovers later when the flavors got more familiar with one another. Conclusion: Due to the atmosphere and generic service, I probably wouldn't visit again. I especially wouldn't visit again for a birthday celebration. Midday Friday may not be the most peak time, but I know there are other restaurants that can provide a more festive birthday experience.

There's a limit on nigiri/sashimi to one piece per order. What that means is that, when you put in your first (and subsequent orders), you can order one tuna, one salmon, etc nigiri/sashimi. That is a lot better than what I originally thought, which was one nigiri/sashimi total for each round. The variety in the AYCE is impressive. Lots of sushi, sashimi, nigiri, salads, soups, variety of appetizers (not all fried stuff!) and hibachi (beef, chicken and shrimp). Tonight, the food arrived pretty quickly after we put in an order. There was an issue toward the end of the evening when the app stopped working at our table and the table next to ours. The Staff did what they could to fix things; it did take about 20 minutes, though. I'm assuming this isn't typical. Staff did say that this does happen from time to time and the customer needs to exit the app and reorder. Except for the 20 minute delay, things worked fine. We placed at least 12 small orders during our meal. The staff was very good about filling water glasses, bringing our food and taking away empty plates. Really - high praise for the staff. The restaurant is very pleasant to sit in. It has Asian motif and nice music playing over the PA. The only issue was with the ordering system, which, as I said, I'm thinking was unusual. Ice cream and soft drinks included.

Many raw things were warm, and I got terrible stomach pain and nausea from their raw oyster, which was warm and tasted terrible. This convinced me that their food is not being kept in safe conditions. Their sushi rolls with "spicy tuna" or "spicy salmon" were chock full of tempura/panko flakes mixed with the fish, resulting in barely any actual tuna or salmon in the roll. Any rolls with tempura shrimp were soggy and lukewarm. Don't trust any videos you see online of this place because the actual rolls you get are 70% rice. This is the worst sushi experience I've ever had, mainly because it caused terrible indigestion from unsafe food handling on Kabuto's part.
