No longer a place you could take your grandaughter just to play one game within reason. "It will be $40 for you two, you have to pay for an hour plus shoes." Really, for a 6 year old to play one game? All lanes were open, there were no people bowling. So, a little quality time is not possible. The owner should be ashamed of himself/herself. You have to pay by the hour, even a 6 year old. There must be other places within driving distance that encourage family time. Unbelieveable. Families, go elsewhere. Not family friendly. I used to come here often, like 2x a week often in high school and weekends in college. I haven't been in since about 2016, but tonight was a disappointment. The young man that was working got mad at my toddler who got his ball down the lane too slow for his liking. It was within 2 feet of the pins and he walked down the lane, grabbed it, brought it back to me and told us to throw it harder next time. My son is 2. The ball was making it down the lane just fine but slowly. The teenage girl working was too busy on her phone when the line was 5 deep to look up and notice us waiting to pay or get shoes. I'm sad that it wasn't what it used to be or that my son couldn't possibly be accommodated with their ramps for kids, but just bumpers because other people were playing in the lane next to us. I'm sad because this used to be such a family friendly place that I'd gone to since at least 2002 and it did not seem that way today. read more

It's been a while since I have been in but it was so great to be able to bring my kids in for glowbowling on Saturday night and it not be crazy late!!!! My little ones had a blast and we still made it home for bedtime! we are so excited about having a revived affordable place to have some fun that's both kid and adult friendly, especially during the summer. Being a bowler myself, when I get the chance, It was great to chat with the new manager about leagues too. He really gets the balance between family fun and the more serious bowler ! This first time experience was terrible, especially since it was a get together for my son's going away and with friends we haven't seen in a while. We wanted to come to a locally owned business to support Rio Rancho... welp... Spent $100 for six people to bowl and we only got to bowl 50% since the lane 24 was glitching the entire time. Imagine going up to take your turn to bowl and before your ball starts to roll, the pins are wiped clear from the lane and it's the next persons turn. Staff was informed multiple times; ultimately we weren't given any sort of refund back despite their faulty equipment. Food wise; it's bowling alley food. Take it for what it is. I used to work down the street and would mention TenPins as a place for customers to hang out while we worked on their vehicles. Now I feel terrible for ever suggesting them. I have been bowling tournaments here for years and on occasion done well. If you haven't been here lately you should come visit the newly updated system. The center is bright and cool. Which is always a plus when you're bowling. The owners are big promotora for tournaments and are very interactive with their customers. The owners Steve and Dana are supportive of the local youth bowlers not only by hosting them for practice and leagues but also coaching. If I didn't live on the east side I would bowl at least one league here. read more

I used to go to this place back in the day when I was in high school and used to love it! But sadly it's gone way downhill, the bowling is okay at best, nothing bad but also nothing that stands out. The bowling balls are old and heavily "loved" and some of the lanes just don't work. The arcade is simple but don't plan on playing any pool, the tables are not level and half of the pool cues are broken, and at any given time half the arcade games are "broken" or just unplugged. I visited this place a while back and one of the bartenders had her kids running around and climbing on equipment, they also threw food and trash around as if they were at a daycare (it was 8:30). Not to mention the bartenders heavily over-serve their regulars, even to the point they can't even walk upright. This place is asking for their liquor license to be revoked. Adding on, I recently went to this place during the day (around 4:30) looking to play pool with a friend. Since the pool tables near the arcade are damaged we decided to ask the manager if we could just play pool near the bar. The manager said it's fine since the bar was closed and we began to play, we noticed a man at the bar who was watching us like an Eagle who then came and asked about our ages, we both said we were 21 (which we were) and we were told we needed to leave because the bar was closed and "we looked too young". We later found out that this man dressed in normal clothing without any name tag or logos on his clothes is actually the owner. He was very disrespectful and uses the place like his own man cave. The beer is cheap but I'd recommend somewhere else unless you want to babysit or watch a bar fight. read more

If you're looking to have a few drinks, and enjoy your time here with friends, you should have no problem! However, if you're thinking about eating there and getting something in your gut before the drive home, I would seriously we consider that choice! We ordered a pizza, which everybody was raving about, that included onion, green pepper, onions, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms And green chili. However, when the lady brought it out to us, an hour later, it only had pepperoni and cheese. I brought the pizza back to the server and advised tjere were several items missing that we had paid for. So she took the pizza over by the cook and put green chili and raw onions on the pizza but not the other items onto the pizza. She gave it back to me and I said, "We are still missing items" and it is not cooked with the pizza. She said, "If we cook it any more, it'll burn." I asked about the additional items missing and she responded stating the original person taking our order was new and didn't know we are out of mushrooms." I said, " What about the sausage and green peppers?". I got a look that either said piss off or I don't give a shit. Unsure which to go with but either one was NOT good! To that end, the pizza SUCKED!!! Even the people that go there often said it was bad! Other people said, "that's why we GrubHub food to be delivered to the establishment. I believe it!!! So very disappointed with how this turned out! Thank God we don't live on this side of town because this would be a place we would NOT get food from. Filled out paperwork to join a league. I was told there were lots of openings. Ordered all new equipment and excited to start tomorrow morning. Then this afternoon at 3 , I got a call that they had filled the open slots with friends and there was no space for me. Boo! Hoo! They asked if I would sub some time. If I was not wanted now, because they did not know me, why would I be interested in filling in some other time? It left me with a bitter taste. Very bitter. read more

Really upset about our visit. We scheduled a time to bowl on Father's Day as it was the last bowling alley in town taking reservations. We set up a time at 4 over the phone and I ask if it's a league night and they say no. The day comes up and they give our spots away to a regular customer citing that we should have been there at 3:30 for some reason. Stating it was schedule at that time and that we where late so it was our fault. Then to top it off they tell us it didn't matter anyways because leagues where starting soon and they wouldn't have scheduled it at that time because the lanes needed to be waxed. I wish I could give it less stars. Terrible customer service, terrible attitudes, and just a terrible bowling alley in general. Luckily we still had a good night elsewhere but could have really dampened the night if our hearts where really set on bowling. One last thing about the pro shop. Decided no brewery, trying something new. This place is hidden during the day building doesn't stand out. But found towards the evening of Christmas Eve only lights on. Found inside a nice bowling alley with pool tables and it's family friendly. We sat at the bar and see there's a corner spot for live music and a juke box. Our bar tender was friendly and bar food was yummy, husband and I got chili cheese fries and onion rings. Large parking and two entrance to the place. read more

This is a solid bowling alley. It is aging, as are most, but still pretty clean and boisterous. We bought a Groupon for four people. We paid $31 for the Groupon and it included: 2 games of bowling for 4 people, 4 sets of shoes, and $10 worth of food. These things would have cost $62 without the Groupon. Some of the house bowling balls are chipped and gouged, but that is expected. We played two game of bowling and ate and that took a little over 2 hours. The burger was a bit dry, but not inedible and the tater tots were good. The food is a bit pricey, with a burger and fries (no drink) costing $7. For four burgers and fries, with no drinks, you are going to pay close to $30. The bowling is fun, although some of the shoes are old. Mine had some pretty big holes near the sole. All four of us had fun and I would go again. When I return we will get fast food before hand, and then use the Groupon for a $10 snack. read more

The only thing good about this place was the food! The mature women are far from kind. we arrived at about 3:30 as a family of 4. we paid for two rounds of bowling, but the lane we were placed on (lane 5) kept getting stuck and took about 30-40 minutes of our play time. when we arrived, we were not told the lane would be closed at 5:15, and out of nowhere, they ended our second game with no warning only 4 scores in. when my husband went up to the desk, thinking it was another error, he was treated like dog poop! The woman, mid 60's, blonde hair, cranky as can be, laughed in his face and said "yep, your game is over because it's over" he tried to explain, but she turned and walked away. We took our shoes up and as we were leaving she started shouting that we would not be getting a refund. My husband said he'd like to speak to someone kinder and she laughed, tossed a yellow card at him and said "here, here are some free games sense you need free stuff"... we gave the card to some teenagers and left! We didn't want anything g free, we wanted to have fun with our kids, not for them to hear a grouchy old woman scream at their parents!!! read more

Nice little neighborhood lounge. Lots of games on the tubes, I can see every game on. Have a few local beers on tap, LaCumbre to be exact. Nice quite location to just sit have a beer grab a quick bite and relax. Bartender was great she took great care of us, Bernadette is her name. Food, was not so great. We had a blast bowling for a fundraiser for Cibola High-school football. Thanks Tenpins for hosting. I've been here in the past and I must say they certainly have spruced up the place in the last few years. The employees were friendly and the bartender was awesome. We were excited they had NM craft beers on tap, La Cumbre, Marble, and Bosque. We snacked on a quesadilla between games, it was huge and tasty (wish I would've took a pic). Large parking lot, pool tables, arcade, and of course bowling. We plan on adding this place to the rotation of our monthly gatherings with friends. The only thing that would've make it better is if there was some music playing. read more

The bartender on staff today asked if it was just my brother in law and I who were buying the pitcher of beer to which I said yes and when we ordered another drink she said we couldn't serve because it would be over serving. We told her we had a few more people back at the lane to which she said that's what I asked you. I said you asked about the beer and she told me she was doing her job and for me to not be bitchy. Me and my family friends went there yesterday to try and go out and have a fun time together but it was miserably ruined mostly by the staff first of all me and my friend were playing pool the first table we went to didn't have the eight ball so we let them know and they were trying to find it by lifting it and shaking it around which didn't work so then they moved us to a different pool table which we played on and my friend had his beer on the railing of the other pool table and the manager walked by with an Australian accent and very rudely told my friend to move his drink off the table and stated "That's what the table there is for!" Which I understand not wanting it on the pool table but as a manger shouldn't have been so rude over after all we paid to play and my family spent a lot on bowling that night, and he talked back about it and gave us attitude for no reason super unprofessional I would much rather drive an hour out of my way to go to a different place with better customer service then go to this run down beat up old place with rude employees I'm very surprised this place is even still open save your money go else Update!!!! this place still sucks haven't gone back since! but if your looking for an amazing place to bowl and drink and play pool I highly suggest Santa Ana Casino if you've never been to that bowling alley it is amazing! Went to check this place out yesterday for a birthday party. It was a traditional bowling alley. Same story, but what really made this place unique was the staff. Every person that was working last night was happy and smiling. To me, that makes for such a welcoming environment and made our experience that much better. Horrible! I'm forced to give them 1 star to post but would give - stars if I could. Lanes do not consistently operate and needed assistance with ball return before our lane was completely shut-down. We were told it would take all evening to fix so that ended our game 2 rounds into it. Bartender is a complete ass and would add "requirements" to receiving a pitcher of beer. She told us "I'm just doing my job not trying to be bitchy so you don't need to be bitchy". When is calling patrons a "bitch" okay? Do not recommend. My husband and I were looking for something different to do on a Saturday night so we checked out the bowling alley for a few games! They had a nice sized bar and even a separate area for like ordering food. Both seemed nice. I'm reviewing those first because we were looking for the entrance and accidentally walked into the bar first. On the outside it doesn't look extremely welcoming and we couldn't figure out which entrance was for the bowling alley. But once we were in, it made sense. It seemed fairly packed but you could still get a lane (Saturday night). There was a good vibe and a mixed crowd. Our land got stuck once (we weren't even aware...) and Tracy came and helped us out. The prices seemed decent but they didn't offer a military discount which was a little disappointing. We didn't have any of the food but my husband had a couple of beers. I'm assuming it would be like other bowling alley food...good but not great. We will most likely come back here. read more

After reading the reviews, I was a little worried having my child's birthday party here, but this is where they wanted it. The party room was great, a nice size and we were able to set it up to our liking. Our food was ready exactly at 6 sharp as promised and the quality was surprisingly excellent! I wasn't expecting bowling alley food to be great, but it was! Angelo or Adrian from the snack bar was so nice, professional and helpful as was the young lady in the snack bar and the 2 young men at the front desk. I was very impressed with all of the friendly, helpful staff here, the kids had an amazing time and I would definitely recommend this place based on my wonderful experience! This was our second visit here and unfortunately our bowling time was ruined by the staff here. The woman working the register and checking people in was so rude. We had ordered food and the cashier was BLEEDING from his hand and still handling food and utensils !!! none of the kitchen staff were wearing gloves it was disgusting and very unsanitary. Bar tender is slow but friendly and drinks are fairly priced so my issue isn't much with that department. Food both and the ladies working it were great. Food isn't bad for bowling ally food and the young ladies working were great and friendly. My problem: Made a reservation Saturday afternoon for a group of 4. We were told on the phone no lanes would be open until 8:30 but we could play for 2 hours. Simple math would tell us our ending time would be 10:30. We were wrong 10pm sharp rolls around and our lane was shut off. I went to the front counter and was told we were out of luck as the 10pm session was full and there was no lanes. Only to be rudely told we came at a bad time, and the lanes would be full soon (of course they werent at that time). We patiently waited as two adults behind the counter ignored us, knowing the situation at hand, and waited for the teenage employee to have to break us the news, but happily chimed in to let us down, no sorry, no please come back, nothin. I checked online long before going, and there were no special events on their calendar. We sorted over $20 worth of quarters to dump into the arcade but simply walked out. I decided on a whim go drive a while town over after having a less than stellar experience at my regular bowling/pool alley and I wasn't disappointed. Wow! Spacious, clean, organized. Everything you want in a bowling alley. The lanes were in good condition and it appeared that they were all in working order. A good selection of public use balls as well. I had no issues finding one that suited me. The ball return worked correctly and the screens were clear and easy to use. We played pool as well. 3 pool tables that were a little close together but it wasn't a deal breaker. Just had to wait for others at times. A great selection of decent pool cues and the games were $1. Not bad. A change machine is 5 steps from any pool table. There was a small game room as well with a large air hockey table which we also tried. It worked well and was great fun. The other games were all working but we only tried a pin ball machine. It was also lots of fun. We inquired prices and schedules of bowling events and the employee was super nice and didn't mind giving us the details. Pretty satisfied and I definitely think its worth the drive for me. read more

MlWent there at 5:30 pm this past Friday night as part of a group celebrating a birthday party. The group reserved lanes 1 thru 4, but the people at the desk wouldn't open up lanes 3 & 4 until more people arrived, so some of us had to wait. They opened up the lanes at 6, we paid, and I was thinking we were paying for 3 games, but in fact learned the hard way we were paying for two hours starting at 5:30, not 6 pm when the staff opened the lanes. A number of us complained to management, but to no avail, they shut the lanes down at 7:30...I called Steve the owner, and complained to him and though I did not cuss at him, but raised my voice and he hung up on me. My boyfriend and I wanted to go bowling on a Friday night and found a pretty great Groupon deal for this place. We called about 2 hours before they had a lane available and were able to reserve a lane for that night. We went a little earlier to grab some food and play arcade games. For the deal we got, ($10 toward food, 2 games and 2 shoe rentals) for $15 bucks (there was an extra 25% off code when I got the Groupon), it was practically free.
