The Seadragon was the ride that took me out. I tried going on as many rides possible that my body and stomach would allow.  Cliff's is opened Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.  Have a great time with the kids, or, you can be a big kid too. The rides are aways fun. I like the flume. The kids like the roller coasters and water park. The food prices were reasonable. It was one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I have ever eaten. It was like $7.95 for sandwich , fries, and a drink! Don't forget the fresh lemonade, the great soft ice cream, and my all time favorite, funnel cakes. Yum! We had a Blast !! Love the new rules of having adults with their kids . Ample security . The young workers were all very polite . My grandkids and I had a great time . Lines were not long . We went on a Thursday. Longest wait was about 10 minutes for the log ride. Lifeguards were very alert. Waterpark area was clean . We were greeted upon entering and told to come back soon as we left. Food was yummy . We purchased the refillable cups and ordered nachos, cheese fries ,BBQ sandwich, ( all about $6 each ...normal for an amusement park) and snow cones for $3 !! Played a few arcade games $5 each . The park doesn't accept cash so if you don't have a credit card then you must purchase a fun card . The employees are very helpful in showing you where to go to purchase the fun cards . We had a very enjoyable day!! read more

Cliff's is a nice little small park in Albuquerque. Their star coaster is the New Mexico Rattler. This is a surprisingly large wooden coaster that delivers lots of thrills. In addition to the New Mexico Rattler, Cliff's has several other coasters, some flat rides, and a water park, log flume, and rapids for the hot summer days. While this park will never be as large as a Six Flags, this is a great stop if you are heading through Albuquerque on your way to Colorado, Arizona, Texas, or Oklahoma. read more

Small amusement park but just the right size for young kids. It isn't Disneyland or Six Flags but there are a few rides and games to play. You could walk the park in a few hours and try all the rides. You could pick up meals such as hot dogs, fries and nachos. If you plan to stay for a long time, I recommend buying the souvenir cup since you can refill it. After buying three drinks you may as well but the large cup and essentially make your money. read more

A hot summer day, the smell of cotton candy, the screams of excitement floating through the air. This is what Cliff's is all about. There are rides for young and old, and just a few rides that I won't go on (the ones that go upside down). There is something for everyone here. My favorites being the log ride and the rattler. Ride wait times are usually no more than 10-20 minutes at most on a busy day. I used to frequent water monkeys often when I was younger, providing hours of entertainment. I remember Thursday's during the summer being $12, but the prices have since increased. I think it's great they have "heroes ride free" weekends around Memorial Day, and we usually try to take advantage of those. Cliff's, thank you for supporting military families. I know some reviews here are complaining about letting high schoolers be the main employment group, but I think it is a great, fun way to get them exposed to the workforce early. The food I can't really comment on, minus having a tiger's blood shaved ice once or twice. read more

Wow I haven't been here in years. Probably about 7 years & before that it might've been 10. So much has changed but at the same time not. There are a few rides that are newer. My kiddos & I were able to ride everything we wanted & multiple times too. Right now bc of covid, you have to make an online reservation unless you are a season pass holder. I actually really like the reservation systems everywhere because you are guaranteed a spot/time. Other than the reservation times they really aren't taking much covid precautions which was disappointing to me. While you're waiting in line you are pretty much shoulder to shoulder with other guests. The staff are all wearing masks however almost no one in the park was. The lines weren't too long for most rides. I think the longest we waited was 15min for a roller coaster. Watermania was a great spot to cool off. Overall we had a really fun time! We are definitely coming back multiple times this summer. read more

There are changes to Cliffs this year. You get a stamp instead of a bracelet a stamp. With the stamp you can go in and out of the park. The have cut days and hours. The area is very clean and manicured, the bathrooms are exceptional. The food and drinks are expensive. The rides are as fun to ride as ever read more

All the rides were closed. Great park, but no refunds, and after I mistakingly bought tickets due to a browser refresh error, one star. The majority of the good rides are also closed. The water raft ride, closed. Bumper cars, closed. And cliffs makes it even harder rather than more convenient to buy a ticket online. It's a hassle. What a joke. Very disappointed IN cliffs amusement. It bad been many years since I decided to return, and I am disappointed that I did return to such a lackluster amusement park. Just went to Cliff's with the family and a friend's family this past Saturday. Wow, what a massive disappointment. Please be aware, half of the rides are closed due to staffing shortage, including Tilt-a-Whirl, Log Ride and Water Slides, just to name a few. As a result, Cliff's was nice (and fair) enough to discount the price of the all day ride pass... yeah, sure pal, fat chance! Here's the kicker... it's just awesome! I've been on all the rides and I would say they're a perfect 10. I especially love the fireball, cliffhanger, and sidewinder. What a cool back yard treasure, we recently visited cliffs as a treat for the kids before heading back to school. Our group consisted of myself, my husband, our 7 year old twins, 16month old baby and my father in law. Everyone had a great time my father in law I dont think was as impressed but he has a annual pass to Silver Dollar city in Branson which he goes to often so I guess he was comparing it to that. We are big fans of Disney Land and try to go once a year but I WOULD NEVER even attempt to compare this place to that and cliffs dosent claim to be this big huge amusement park. For the price and what they offer its a perfect little local attraction that we will be visiting over and over again :) even my husband was quite impressed with some of the bigger rides and he is hard to please. The toddler rides were perfect for our little guy but there are only a few so we decided to buy a pay as u go pass card for him instead of the wristband and that worked perfectly. It was ok. Rides were good. Food good. But we didn't get very far into the rides before the kids got to hot. Water park was good but needs more for the smaller kids. To many big kids in the little kids part. My 2 year old couldn't play because the big kids were taking all the water spouts. read more

We love going to Cliffs for the rides. We usually make it a point to spend the whole day there. I really like their new ride, the windrider, except it can give you such a crick in the neck if you ride it too much. I feel like the gift shop, food, and shop in Watermania is insanely expensive. We forgot a towel and paid $15 for one for my niece. I think they should at least stick something that says "Cliffs" on it so it can be a memento. Towels at Walmart at 3x less expensive and better quality than this hotel towel. It also feels like the rules are ineffective. Maybe they need more security? For example, a kid jumped the fence after being repeatedly told not to by a ride operator. They say "we will kick you out of the park" but there is no one really around to follow up on the promise. Things like that worry me because safety is important and it takes one kid doing something stupid to potentially cause a huge disaster. read more

We went on a special $9 Thursday, and really got our money's worth. In the seven hours the park was open, we had enough time to ride everything we wanted to, and went back for seconds of the really good ones (SideWinder and New Mexico Rattler). We skipped the "water park". Avoid the All American Cafe. Total chaos! That was the only blemish on a really great day. read more

Don't go to this place. Extremely unsafe on the best of days. If you come you are taking your safety into your own hands and management won't do anything, because they are the cause of it all. They are flipping disrespectful to everyone and abuse everyone including guess and employees. This place is not in compliance with ADA at all including the bathrooms. Park management is a total and utter nightmare to deal with. Justin the General Manager, Megan Foster the operations manager, Rebecca Smart rides operations manager, DJ the assistant General Manager ( who is married to Justin the GM), manager, Jacob, Nick and Mercedes are all child abusers. Mercedes did look at the crouch area of both J.S and S.T who are males, I seen this first hand on multiple times. Also Rebecca Smart is too friendly with the males that are minors. They have emotional, and mentally abused the teenage workers. They have left these kids without water, no breaks, no access to food, no way to call for help. When they have given them water, it has been filled with bugs, sand, and dirt. I was the one that got the employee water before the employee passed out from no water. They won't let the kids socialize with anyone and have de-socialized the teens to the point they fear adults. However in front of these same teens they have their own friends. The management team has also put employees on rides that they are not trained to do. At the beginning of the summer of the summer the employees were not given breaks including 15 minute ones and lunch breaks. The management has been abusive since day 1 at this place and have only gotten worst. About a month ago DJ (assistant GM) set up employee S.T to be written up when she let someone on who was too small for the ride in the first place and than blamed S.T. . She actually screamed at the employee to the point that the employee was in tears and almost pissed his pants. I was the one that had to clam the employee down because he known me for 2 years. Rebecca Smart (Rides operation manger) completely bitched about it and made a stink along with Mercedes. However, they should have been doing their job in the first place. July 21, 2019 Megan Foster had employee J.S. pick a fight with me. She order J.S not to even speak to guest or he would be written up. She has no authority to tell theses teenagers to treat the guest as shit and deliberately do it. Megan Foster has no boundaries considering J.S. looked up to me at one point until she pulled her shit. She overstep her boundaries big time on this. This is a clear case of child abuse because causes sever emotional distress. This employee has acted out since. On Sunday July 28, 2019 management (Justin, DJ, Megan Foster, Rebecca Smart) kept employee S.T. on the Cliff Hanger which is a full metal ride in a lighting storm. The employee could have been electrocuted and killed if there was a lighting strike on the ride. They also pulled this same thing on employees J.S., and Isiah on a ride call down draft which is a metal ride. The kids could have been killed if lighting hit the ride. I know first hand of an incident where Megan Foster (Operations Manager) target an Native American employee solely based on being Native. Fired him because he is Native American. She targets anyone and everyone she does not like. On July 29, 2019 employee J.S almost killed a bunch of people when he did not check restraints and operated the ride with them open. In fact he did this on multiple rides. He also did this the week b4, where I have pictures. On this day me and a friend of mine who is special needs J.S terrified her to the point she was shacking uncontrollably after J.S attacked me a ride called cliff hanger. J.S also cussed me out numerous times which I filmed and have uploaded to Google reviews. Management refuses to do anything about J.S actions even though he caused all the incidents. He is also pinned employees against guest in the park that are friends. He has target in particular me and one of my friends. All the management wants to do is side with J.S instead of addressing J. S behavior, which is out of control. He is getting extremely worst. On July 23, 2019, J.S. threw my crutches at me, when I asked him for help. He also called me an Fn retard and threaten my safety in the park. I went to park management and they did absolutely nothing about J.S. throwing crutches at me including manager Jacob, Nick, Rebecca Smart and Mercedes. They don't want to do anything period. They target the guest and take the side of the employees. July 30, 2019, Megan Foster (Operations manger), Justin (GM), targeted me once again. This time they did it to me and S.T. They flat out told him he could not speak to me even outside Cliffs and had him block me on Facebook. They overstep past their boundaries once again. They have zero authority outside of Cliffs, but they all think they do. They threatens the employees with write up if they don't do what they order ev read more

This amusement park is pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. And this from someone who isn't normally drawn to amusement parks. Cliff's has some fun scary rides. Sure, it isn't Cedar Point, Six Flags or Disneyland, but if it was, you'd be waiting in really long lines. Here, the lines are relatively short. If we didn't get on the ride the first time around, we were on it the next time. Sidewinder, The Rattler, The Wind Rider, Fire Ball, the water tubes, and more, are well worth the day visit. Today, the Cliff Hanger wasn't open, but that only temporarily dampened our fun. I think I'm better off without it. The Cliff Hanger doesn't seem to be as scary as the Demon Drop, which had been at Cedar Point up until 2010, but it looks scary enough. They have milder, though great rides, the classics: Music Express, bumper cars, Tilt-A-Whirl, water rides, like the log ride and the water tubes. If you're not into wild rides, there are some traditional carnival-style arcade games. If you have young kids, there's a special area with a great selection of rides. All your favorite treats are there, including cotton candy, Icees, funnel cakes, turkey legs, traditional grill food, like hot dogs and hamburgers, Dippin' Dots, shakes and smoothies. read more

Here's all I have to say about Cliffs: all the same fun rides as places like legoland but 1/2 the cost. Kids loved it. My only suggestion: eat before and just ride rides. Only open 5 hours so take full advantage of them hours. Food is reasonably priced considering where you are at, but the kids really did have a blast. I hate that smoking is allowed. Nothing worse then seeing kids you know are to young, smoking in front of yours stinking it up for everyone (you think you are cool - you're not) Small park. No waiting. Clean for the most part. I didn't see any cockroaches. They could work on their staff being more friendly, but then again ... What do you expect from high school kids? The reason fir 5 stars? We got here when it opened @ 10 and that was awesome because we had more room to monkey around in water mania without tons of people. Started getting crowded around noon. Haven't been here in a few years but the snack bar prices are still pricey. $2.99 for a pickle are you kidding me(I enjoyed every single bite of it). Snack bar lines were really slow because they were training tons of newbies. But they were all very friendly and energetic. We left for a little bit to get lunch(don't forget to get your ticket to re-enter). Great place for fun family time. read more

Very friendly staff, nice park, exciting rides. Some features: several make your own icee booths, a gift shop in the water area that sells towels, sunscreen, bathing suits (from toddler to adult sizes), goggles and cute plushies. Only con, and it is a huge one, no outside food and drink. $30 per person to get in and ride all day is not too bad, but then you throw in food for a family of four and you'll easily spend $200. The food is not terrible, but there are no healthy options. Smart plan is eat a huge meal right before gates open at 11. When everyone is beginning to starve leave the park (dont forget your reentry ticket) and go across the street to any of a dozen restaurants within 10 blocks, get cool, recharge, then return to the park for fun until after dark! read more

I'm not sure if I could handle the actual ride aspect of this park. It looks fun, but when it's a scorcher out, I can't imagine anything worse than waiting in line only to vomit on some crazy coaster. The water park however is just my speed! It is busy during the summer, but after 4 pm it really clears out. Nothing more refreshing than getting gallons of cold water dumped on your head or speeding down a water slide! Totally awesome. The one and only downside is their policy against bringing in your own food, but I get it. Frankly, the admission price is very reasonable and you get our money's worth in water alone! read more

For the past 3 years my youngest daughter has had a cliffs pass so that she can go and have a nice time hanging out with her friends and riding the rides. The pass pays for itself just after a few visits and also gives you $5 each visit to use toward food and drinks. She goes about once a week so it's a great value to have their pass. Usually when I pick her up she tells how much fun they had, but this time was completely different. She said she was getting on a ride and the lady that checks passes came with the manager Andres, who told her she couldn't get on the ride and that he needed to see her pass. He told her that her pass was from last year. She told him she has a pass and that she could call her dad to talk to him, but he refused to do this and was rude and condescending with her. She's just a kid, and kids make mistakes, which is what she did by taking the wrong pass by accident. This is NO EXCUSE to embarrass and mistreat her. She was able to get things squared away at the front office, but I'm extremely disappointed with the manner in which he dealt with her. It is never ok to be rude and condescending with a customer, I don't care if they are kids. They are paying customers. Why just assume that someone is trying to be deceitful? Anyone that works in the service industry knows that you should respect and treat your customers with kindness. read more

Went to Albuquerque to visit Nana and Papa for a week. Took my 6-yo daughter twice to Cliffs, primarily for the water park, but also to ride rides. We had a blast! The first day we spent almost five hours in the water park, which was crowded, but not outrageously so. Not once while I was sunning and she was playing was I concerned for her safety or well-being. The park is clean, poop in the water park was cleaned promptly as was the vomit in the kid's roller coaster. We had to wait a half-hour after the poop incident, and I was pleased at the staff's thoroughness. The staff was remarkably friendly and attentive. I highly recommend a visit to Cliffs next time you're in Albuquerque. read more

Awesome water park for the kiddos. The park is very clean and they have their maintenance team checking all the rides on rotation for safety. Cliff's is an Albuquerque staple and has expanded over the years. Average price per ticket, children 9 and up are charged the same as an adult, is 28. The price includes an all day pass for all rides and the water park. None of the shops or food stands except cash or credit cards so you will need to purchase a fun pass. There are stations throughout the park for convenience and the cards are fantastic to allow for kiddos to have a "slush fund" for food and goodies. By far the best $13 I spent this year (after 5pm on Friday price ) small park with a bunch of carnival ride's but the wooden rollercoaster was great from start to finish it had that raggedy feeling only a wooden rollercoaster can give. We had read some reviews that were not great but had already purchased our tickets so we were sort of nervous about going but we had SO much fun! The kiddos absolutely loved the rides (which is hard to do with our age ranges sometimes; 15, 12, 7 and 5) and the water park area was their favorite. We were so glad we went. Whatever you do, eat before you go.they charged $5 per student for our field trip. Green hot dogs, tiny tiny bag of chips and juice pouch. This doesn't cut it for teenagers. Who even serves nasty pork hotdogs anymore. The vegetarians had to go purchase cold nasty pizza from their concession stand. Come on cliffs, pick up your concession standards. The last time I went to Cliff's, they were so slow in selling tickets to get in, I asked them if they were trained by the DMV. When I went to get something to eat, there was no one at that particular food stand. As I was waiting, I could see into the back, where a teenage boy and girl were flirting and goofing off, before they finally got around to getting my food. While I was waiting, a park worker came up to order food, got his right away and left before mine came out. That was years ago and I never went back. read more

This is easy for the kids to enjoy and not fight. Hubby and I bought season passes this year at Costco. We will be going often just to get us all out of the house and help us enjoy the summer. Truly upsetting! Bought our first season passes of the year My daughter loses pass on ride. I go to customer service to get a new one. Was told it cost 20 dollars for a reprint of season pass. 15$ for reissue of card 5$ for lanyard. So messed up when you buy tickets here to support local parks. With no help of finding lost one had to rush off ride. Truly sad service. Basically bought a day pass. read more
