New Mexico Rattler roller coaster
Taylor S.

Cliff's is a nice little small park in Albuquerque. Their star coaster is the New Mexico Rattler. This is a surprisingly large wooden coaster that delivers lots of thrills. In addition to the New Mexico Rattler, Cliff's has several other coasters, some flat rides, and a water park, log flume, and rapids for the hot summer days. While this park will never be as large as a Six Flags, this is a great stop if you are heading through Albuquerque on your way to Colorado, Arizona, Texas, or Oklahoma.

The money shot...

Small amusement park but just the right size for young kids. It isn't Disneyland or Six Flags but there are a few rides and games to play. You could walk the park in a few hours and try all the rides. You could pick up meals such as hot dogs, fries and nachos. If you plan to stay for a long time, I recommend buying the souvenir cup since you can refill it. After buying three drinks you may as well but the large cup and essentially make your money.

Wow I haven't been here in years. Probably about 7 years & before that it might've been 10. So much has changed but at the same time not. There are a few rides that are newer. My kiddos & I were able to ride everything we wanted & multiple times too. Right now bc of covid, you have to make an online reservation unless you are a season pass holder. I actually really like the reservation systems everywhere because you are guaranteed a spot/time. Other than the reservation times they really aren't taking much covid precautions which was disappointing to me. While you're waiting in line you are pretty much shoulder to shoulder with other guests. The staff are all wearing masks however almost no one in the park was. The lines weren't too long for most rides. I think the longest we waited was 15min for a roller coaster. Watermania was a great spot to cool off. Overall we had a really fun time! We are definitely coming back multiple times this summer.

Small park but very clean and nicely maintained. My kids had a fun time for a few hours. Lots of shade and benches to watch from.

This is a pretty fun amusement park for a day out with the family. They should allow you to bring in your own food and drink.

ABQ BioPark Zoo - A Malayan tiger relaxes in the new Asia expansion

ABQ BioPark Zoo

This zoo has a lot of potential, that they are certainly starting to capitalize on. The older part…read moreof the zoo definitely shows its age, but walk around a corner and wow! The multi-species enclosures are really amazing. The orangutans were out and playing and eating while we were there. The baby was having a good time and super fun to see. The free ranging peacocks were beautiful. Lots to see in a compact park. Don't miss the penguins! The park was clean and remodeling all at once. The expansion will be spectacular once done. The price is about normal, about $20/adult. The gift shop is about what you would expect. I'm glad we went. Parking was easy. Nice zoo, construction takes a little away from the experience.

We've been coming here for years and it's a nice outing each time, The park has seen some upgrades…read morewith some currently in progress, which is nice to see. The animals appear healthy and well taken care of. There's a brand new elephant viewing area and even an indoor penguin exhibit. If I had any complaints, it would be the main cafe in the middle of the park. It's not as clean as it could be and the cost is quite high for simple meal items. There is a shaded grass area though, so just pack your own food to save some money. Speaking of saving money, get on the bio park website and grab the yearly pass. Then you can visit as often as you want for a year. The pass also covers the Botanical gardens and aquarium to boot. The zoo itself does get a bit tight during busy times. We made the mistake of coming during spring break and it's way too many people. You feel like you're getting herded along since there are people waiting to get the best spot to look at animals, and with all the strollers around... Yeah, if you can manage it, go when the kiddos are in school. All in all, it's still a nice outing. Definitely worth visiting.
