I've lived in Albuquerque for a total of 4 years and I just finally went to Cliff's and now I've been there twice. I have only been in Water Mania but boy was I impressed. The water slides are fun for all ages. I've taken my 1-year-old niece down all of them and she loves to go down the small one's by herself (meaning I hold her hand going down rather than her having to sit on my lap). The longer water slides are pretty short but I enjoy them. This is a great place for kids and parents to play and everyone can have fun. The park is clean and there are chairs and picnic tables all throughout the park to use. You cannot bring your own food in but the food they sell is reasonably priced. My one and only concern about the water park is that all of the water dropping and flying everywhere along with the big bucket can be very loud and overwhelming for some children. This is a pretty fun amusement park for a day out with the family. They should allow you to bring in your own food and drink.

I came here yesterday. It was a very good experience for a small park. It has good amount of rides and the lines move fairly quickly. It just sucks that you can't use cash at the food lines or any where.. It has lots of shade and has great rides that every age can enjoy. I would recommend to give it a try. I have been going to cliffs my whole life. It's really a nice fun environment that I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family even though sometimes not all the rides are open I always seem to have the best times with family and friends and I will continue to make memories there for years to come. The only problem currently is that I cannot stop thinking about the updated food menu. The food use to be so good there and recently it has been a big fail. Let's just say I recommend getting a quick bite to eat before going. Hopefully in the future I will have much more better experiences. read more

I'm pretty bored with cliffs the only ride worth getting on is the rattler and even that's not great

Cliff's was fun and had personality. It has aspirations to be a big amusement park but still has that small carnival atmosphere. It has an excellent mix of rides and waterpark attractions and enough thrills to keep a family busy all day long. It seems to be constanly growing too. They keep adding bigger and better rides. The hours were a little strange and it was a little pricey. It was worth the expense though. The lines were pretty short when we went over Memorial Day weekend in 2009. We have a 10 month old who had a lot of fun and my Mom came with and had a blast too. My favorite ride was the Cliff Hanger where you are raised about 200 feet in ther air and dropped for a free-fall to a gentle stop. My wife and mom liked the Sea Dragon- an old classic. At the end of the day there was no line and we got to ride it over and over again! There were some attractions that were closed, but it happens. The place seemed to be completely run by kids - that is, the employees- which troubled me a bit. It is probably a good summer job for them, but I would have felt reassured to see more adults working there. The Rattlesnake, an old wood-style rollercoaster, is pretty freaky. There is that element of fear when riding wooden roller coasters. It is powerful, though, and probably safer than it seems. There were a couple other mdern-style roller coasters too. For a local amusement park, I am very happy with Cliffs. There are plenty of rides to make everyone happy from the youngest of children to the oldest. It is very clean. The food is good enough and priced okay. There is also a water monkey adventures that is a water play area that looks like a blast. I also like that there are games the kids can play where they are guaranteed to win a stuffed animal for $3. There is a ride pass for $80 for up to 15 visits during summer that is a good value for locals. Also, Costco sells discount tickets. read more

I will NEVER pay the outrageous prices to take my child to a haphazardly ran park ever again. I hate when people start reviews like that but I am just stunned at the horrific experience. Not only will they refuse to take credit cards - it's clear they don't want my business, terrible service soon as I pay $100 to enter the park. I should have known with the issues we had getting in the gate. Cliffs advertised mothers ride free on Mother's Day - false advertising as the commercial on the radio did not say it was buy one get one free. I took two children and had a buy one get one admission for the kids. They said I had to pay two admissions to get the one free - meaning as a mother I was not free. Then towards the end of the day, they would not allow my 50 inch child on the carousel. His head far over their line on the measuring stick along with the line at the gate and all over rides, she stood there arguing with me while holding the stick beside him even though it was showing he was way pass the line! Not to mention I was pretty irritated after finding out I was locked in a park, not able to go to the car to get cash - my child famished and dehydrated. After spending the day there and him riding all other rides including the rattler and sidewinder with no issue - not being allowed on the carousel was the final straw. Especially when the last THREE times we were at Cliffs over the last year and a half he had zero issues on the 48 inch rides. I like to support local family owned businesses but Cliffs will never again receive my money. Not like they care enough because they certainly weren't concerned to fix it while I was there. What a terrible birthday celebration. If you plan to go, maybe take a doctors note signed and notarized with your child's height and bring plenty of cash because the prices are astronomic and they throw a fit when you mention the words 'credit card' Silly me considering buying a season pass earlier today, should have went to hinkle like we planned. Edit: forgot to mention not all the rides were open - if you have a major ride closed you should announce it at the gate as other amusement parks have the respect to do - moments within the park we realized the main ride we went there for was closed! read more

We had my 3-year-old son's birthday party at Cliffs. That party and the staff TOTALLY EXCEEDED my expectations. We all had a blast and it was perfect for my 11 year old nephews down to my 3 year old son. The park was clean and everyone was super friendly. I went to Cliff's this summer and had a really fun time. The rides were just as fun as I remember summers ago and the food tasted a lot better than I thought it would, especially for an amusement park. The lights were really neat to see when it got dark, and the lines were not too long. I will definitely go back next summer. read more

I (I'm 24) went with my Mom to Cliff's Amusement Park at the end of May and had a fantastic time. It's great for all ages! The SideWinder was my favorite ride since it rides really smooth, goes fast, and it's really fun. It's nice that the lines are usually pretty short. My Mom's favorite part was the train and we loved how it went into a tunnel and has a little Western theme. The train is great if you want a break between rides to relax. The train employees were super nice and made it really fun. It was a little hot out so the Rocky Mountain Rapids log ride was the best. The food here is great. At lunch we ate some Turkey legs (they smelled so good we had to have one) at one of the tables next to WaterMania to listen to the water. I wished I had brought my swim suit because the WaterMania monkey bucket looked like so much fun. After lunch we had Dippin Dots (YUM!), hot fudge sundae (my mom had that), and to end the day I ate funnel cake (they have so many yummy flavors! My favorite is the strawberry & powdered sugar on top of the funnel cake.) Maybe next time I might even get my face painted by the amazing artists they have. It's even a great place to walk around if you don't want to go on any rides. I can't wait to go back! read more
