While not the purest sense of a Distillary I usually look for, but for the area - really cool. They are right outside the Tennessee-Vegas area, but have their own separate feel. Lots of flavored whiskey, with some Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey, not Tennessee Whiskey though. The people were really friendly and you should check it out. Lots of tasting options.

This is a fun distillery! They greeted me immediately when I came in and asked what they could help me with. They actually let you pick what you would like to try here! Most places have a set list for you to try which usually has items you have no interest in. Their flavors are pretty spot on even the jalapeño cornbread (yes you read far right )! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

This place is great. Service was informative and exceptional. They offer a lot of choices so good and so many. I ended up buying a box worth when I only intended to buy a couple. The value was unbelievable. Big Sexy is amazing and very knowledgeable. You have to try this place and location. It's a must....

We did a lot of spirits tasting while in Knoxville and this one stood out because the staff were amazing! During our tasting Leeann was so personable and knowledgeable about everything we had. The flavored whiskeys and moonshines were some of my favorites of all the places. The S'mores whiskey and wild cherry shine were delicious. It made me sad that we were flying back without much space in checked luggage because i would have purchased so much! Its definitely on list for road trip action.

Stopped in on Saturday afternoon. The shine was good, but the wine stole the show! You walk in and there are several tasting stations available. Each station features a sampling of all of their shine. There is a tour available that walks you through the process of making the shine, but I did not partake. I think that the shine at this establishment was better than most. They also have a good variety of merchandise to choose from. What stole the show was the wine tastings. If you walk down to the end of the building, you will find the wine. The server was the greatest. She kept us very engaged as she poured the tastings, she also had some of her own creations that were amazing, I took home several bottles of wine after my experience there.

Matthew was behind the pine pouring spirits and telling us about each drinks and even mixing a few. Highly recommend! We were here from NY visiting friends in the area ....what a find! Left with some goodies to take home!

Visited 3 times within one week in November 2022. Stopped by again yesterday while headed to Charleston. The variety of flavors fantastic. The quality of the alcohol itself beats out any other distillery for "moonshine" I have tried. The staff is friendly and not only knows the product, even mentions their personal favorite. Tasting available with ID. There are now a couple "respect the shine" shirts being worn by family members.

She said no but she never checked. I saw two carry out trays sitting on top of the shelf where the kitchen staff places the food orders. Finally I walked over and had someone checked if that was my food and it was. It had been sitting there for ten minutes. I told the woman that was supposed to have checked if it was ready and her reply was "OH WELL" I had written a tip for 20% so walked over to my check and lowered it to 1%. It took a bit for our server to come acknowledge us but once he did, he was very helpful and attentive. My boyfriend ordered a peach Kentucky mule (they originally said they couldn't make that, which we questioned with it being a distillery, but our server came back and said they could after all). He enjoyed it and said it's one of the better ones he's had! We both ordered smash burgers and sweet potato fries - I had the junction 35 (pimento cheese + bacon jam) and he had the farmhouse (bacon + fried egg). Both were amazing! Juicy burgers, perfect size patties for smash burgers, the buns were fresh and held up nicely, and the toppings were great. Sweet potato fries had a great crunch and were seasoned really well. Service was great, food was high quality and had great flavor, and the dog friendly patio was perfect for our pup. It's located in a nice little strip of shops and restaurants, and has a common area of cornhole and other games that would be fun for an activity before/after dinner, or if you have kids in tow. We'd definitely make another trip here when in the area.

Lance was our tastemaker/ bartender and our tasting was curated as part of a tour. We tasted about 12 different moonshines including some not on the list: Watermelon, Spicy Pickle and Habenero Bloody Mary... not something I liked. Bloody Mary's are very spicy. Lance was knowledgeable about the moonshines being sampled, offering insights into its flavors and made sure we understood you don't have to drink full pour and he'd provide a new sipping cup. Most lived upto flavor, very potent in alcohol content as Lance explained with each sample. Logan gathered our order together and because of a coupon we got a feee shot glass. We ended up purchasing 3 with one free: Salted Caramel Moonshine, Coffee Moonshine, Lemon Lime Moonshine and Sweet Tea Moonshine. I'm sure you'll find your own favorites

The tasting was quick and fun. We liked so many flavors and after much deliberation decided to purchase the apple pie, strawberry shortcake, and 2 orange creme. The bottles are $29.99 each and they had a buy 3 get 1 free deal going on. An employee stood ready to package the bottles and carry them to the counter. I greatly appreciated this as then I did not have to hold them when perusing the rest of the shop. In addition to moonshine they sell T-shirts, pour spouts, candles, and more. We visited Tanger on a Saturday morning over a holiday weekend. Parking was rough but understandable. Eventually we found a spot, but it took longer to leave Tanger than it did to park. Overall, we had a fun experience here and recommend this shop to others!

When you want to get drunk, but you also need your drink to look electric blue and taste like raspberry, you come here. I'm not the biggest fan of sweet drinks in general, and especially not sweet alcohol. But I wasn't about to pass up an opportunity to taste some of Old Forge Distillery's moonshine and gin. They also make vodka, whiskey and rum. The gin was good! It doesn't taste like traditional gin, because they age it in bourbon barrels, so it has a little bit of a caramel taste to it. (In my opinion.) The moonshine and the cream liqueurs are where you will find the crazy flavors. I think my favorite was the coffee moonshine, which tastes like a wonderfully spiked black coffee. Samples are plentiful. The bartender told us which ones were crowd favorites, and also recommended some that I would not have picked myself. They also have a huge gift shop with lots of tchotchkes, plus bottles of their goods to take home with you.

We purchased TSW Chocolate Cream, Rocky Red Flat and Pigeon Forge Blush. Our tour also included a moonshine operation demo by one of the bartenders. It was educational of course.
