I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.

Truly the best. One of a kind. I am so glad to have found Healing Point Therapeutic. I highly…read morerecommend the hypnoaccupuncture and also the intuitive readings. Top notch. Marisa is wonderful in all ways. The office and treatment rooms are also healing.

I unfortunately attended Pat B's Sunday morning meeting. I brought my two year old son with me…read more When I went in the meeting room, I moved two chairs off to the far corner of the room in case my son acted like a typical toddler, so we wouldn't disrupt any other members. After the meeting started, there were people seated to my right who were talking the whole time I was there and the WW "leader" said nothing to them. Fast forward to 15 minutes into the meeting. My son had not made one peep the entire time. He sat next to me playing with his toy garbage truck. My son pressed the garbage truck sound button (which is definitely one of his quieter toys) and Pat B stops her meeting and asks, "what is that noise?!". I answered that it was my son's garbage truck and she said, "can't you turn it off because it's disrupting the meeting". Members actually spoke up and told Pat B "no" and that he was fine, to which Pat turned to them, laughed, and replied, "I know...I'm mean". People that were seated in front of me turned around and said, "you weren't even being disruptive". Since there was no off button for the toy, I took it away from him. At this point, my son started crying, so I packed up and began to leave the meeting. When I was halfway out of the meeting, Pat said "you can just give it back to him, it's not that bad" (she was referring to giving back the truck which she said was such a disruption). Perhaps Pat should gain some leadership skills before she works as a weight watchers "leader", because she truly has no clue how to treat WW members with dignity and respect. There are other phenomenal leaders at this location, but Pat B is clearly not one of them. Stay away from Pat B's meeting if you are looking for a professional and motivational leader.

Dr. Frodermann is a naturopathic physician. They look at the whole body, how each body system…read moreinteracts with the others and treat with non-invasive, holistic modalities. For example, I had historically been low in vitamin D. My 'traditional' MD/ PCP kept telling me to 'take more vitamin D' like I was forgetting to do so. I was not forgetting, and was taking so much vitamin D on a daily basis, one of my family members mentioned you can actually overdose on vitamin D. This comment gave me pause to think about exactly how well, or unwell, my healthcare really was and began my search for a new health care provider. On my very first consultation with Dr. Frodermann, she knew exactly why I was always low on vitamin D, added a natural supplement to assist with absorption to my daily vitamin routine, and I have never been low on vitamin D since! All those years of 'take more!' was never going to fix the issue. I should have come to Dr. Frodermann sooner. This is just one example of how Dr. Frodermann has changed my health, and therefore my life. It is a health journey and she is an advocate helping to figure out what is needed to stay in good health as we age. I'm definitely not one to 'pop a pill' for what ails me. I'd much rather adjust my diet, add an exercise, take Epsom salt baths, make bone broth or use a caster oil pack for example if that is what it takes to feel good. I had searched the internet for years looking for ways to feel better. It's so much easier to meet with Dr. Frodermann, having the benefit of her wisdom and experience to point you in the right direction. The office offers high quality supplements and the prices are very competitive. At present all consultations are via tele-med (Skype for example) in order to keep everyone safe and supplement pick up is no-contact. Office hours are limited, and by appointment only. Give them a call, or send them an email. The staff are very friendly and helpful. In the state of RI, naturopaths are not covered by insurance although they are licensed by the state and the RI association of Naturopathic physicians is trying to arrange insurance coverage (You can check out https://www.rianp.org/ to find out how that process is going). In the mean time, if you wish to see a naturopath in RI, it is out of pocket. If you are not getting results from your PCP, are tired of always being tired, or just not feeling like anything you have tried is working, maybe it's time you add a naturopath to your health care family. I did and I will never look back!

Dr. Liu is gentle and explains where he's placing the needles as he goes. Part of acupuncture treatment includes the doctor leaving the office after the needles are placed for about fifteen minutes. I think that information is helpful-especially if it's your first treatment. I've actually fallen sleep during this short period of time! His office accepts insurance coverage so worth checking out if your plan covers it. Holding back a star because it's tough to schedule appointments during the week. Availability trends between 10 -4 and each treatment is about an 45 mins to an hour start to finish. There are Saturday appointments available,however, and that's what I've been taking advantage of. Treatment rooms are clean and private. Abundant parking in the back of the building on Reservoir Ave. To get to the point, I'd recommend this office (;
