For those who like pros and cons lists, I have several pros and one con listed below. Pros -- - Friendly People. Everybody there is incredibly friendly. They remember you and make you feel cared about. - Great Care. Cleanings have been incredibly thorough and treatment has been great. I had a cavity filled there, and it was quick and painless! - Timliness. They are prompt and get you in at your scheduled time. You don't end up waiting around in the waiting room forever. - Honesty. They communicate with you honestly about your dental health. They don't tell you that there are cavities that need to be treated when there aren't. They look at certain areas that may become problems down the road and do everything they can to prevent them from becoming problems. They don't do extensive work prematurely, which I love. Cons -- - The Music. This is one that may have changed. Usually I wouldn't mention the music that is played at a place, but I find it very distracting here. The music they were playing was terrible covers of top 40 songs. I don't mind popular music, however, the covers were pretty painful to listen to, with singers who sing flat notes and just don't sound great. It's distracting. I wouldn't mind some better music to listen to during my visits. This place is great, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, honest dentist.

Dr. Rowley and his staff squeezed me in for a dental emergency and got me all taken care of. Everyone was very understanding and patient. Instead I chose to support a local small business close to home - for the personal attention. What drew me in at first was the great landscaping the place has. It just looks inviting. - Before my visit - Just made a quick call & spoke to Christina @the front desk who set me up with my 1st appointment - Got a phone call/voicemail reminding me the day before the appointment in English & Spanish...my name is Jose & I hadn't setup a preferred language. Now each time they call they default to Spanish. :P - 5 appointments in total - * 1st was the Xray & consultation, * 2nd was Hygienist Part 1 of 2 , * 3rd was Hygienist Part 2 of 2, * 4th was Fillings Part 1 of 2 (Right Side), * 5th was Fillings Part 2 of 2 (Left Side). At each visit I got a feel for the vibe in the place. Pretty relaxed, easy going, but professional, pretty friendly overall. The fact that there were 5 appointments surprised me. But I wasn't bothered. The stars/pros were the Hygienist Carrie & the Dentist. Carrie: what a sweetheart - passionate - fun to talk to - and willing to go the extra mile to educate me on my oral care. Dentist: Unlike most of the Kaiser folks the Dentist here, Dr. Riley, seemed to really care about the quality of service he gives. Each time he offered to help with any concerns I have, if things don't feel right, or need adjusting, etc. The impression I got from him is that he's young & aiming to please. You can tell he's offering the best service he can out of his clinic in Cornelius. Thanks Dr. Riley for being part of our town. Look forward to my next visit in October with Carrie (hopefully)!

Over time, they got worse, and yet every dentist I saw told me they were "fine" and didn't need to be fixed. I also had a deep fear of going to the dentist due to past experiences--being in extreme pain, not being listened to when I wasn't numb, and being belittled for things like not flossing regularly. So when I first came to Epic Dental Arts, I was nervous--but I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt cared for. Dr. Long and her staff have been nothing short of amazing. They've shown me so much kindness, empathy, and compassion. Not once did I feel judged or shamed for my past dental fears or avoidance. Over the past seven months, I've had a lot of work done--and now when I look in the mirror, I see beautiful, healthy, white teeth instead of the dark, embarrassing ones I lived with for years. I've even relaxed so much in the chair that I've fallen asleep during treatment (sorry if I snored!). The entire team has helped restore not just my teeth, but my confidence. I smile fully again. I show my kids how to brush their teeth without feeling ashamed of my own. I don't find excuses to avoid the dentist anymore--because I trust them. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Long and her team for changing how I feel about dentistry and for making me feel beautiful again.

Happy to be the 1st one to review Dr. Jared Thompson, DMD and his team at Pacific Oak Dental. And,…read moreno... I dont give out 5 stars often. So... I was putting off my next dental visit because of some sensitivity I had been having with my teeth. After the dog ate my night guard I decided it was time. With this visit I also decided to try out a new dentist. Dr. Thompson at Pacific Oak Dental came highly recommended to me by a friend, so I decided to check it out even though it was a little bit of a drive for me. For starters, the building is very nice, updated and very clean. I was promptly greeted with a smiling staff member. I had x-rays, an exam, cleaning, and they were also able to take impressions for my night time grind guard. I was happy that they were able to fit all of that in within 2 hours. Dr. Thompson didnt just pop in and take a quick look and leave like others I have experienced in the past. He looked around and was very thorough. The personal touch goes a long way. He discussed any concerns I had, what I wanted in the future, and also what he recommended that I 'should' do. Not once did it seem as though any of them were pressuring me to buy something. Thank you! My hygenist was personable, Bri was her name. Super easy to talk to, friendly and she was a gentle flosser. (BONUS POINTS) After everything was done they took me to the consultation room where they had everything broken down for me. What was covered by my ins. What wasnt. Etc. It is always nice to know right away what it is going to cost to do the things I want to do in future visits before leaving. This gives me plenty of time to think about options, budget etc. Needless to say, I rescheduled my follow up visit for mynight guard and will also be returning for another cleaning in November. Highly recommended.
