Hi does anyone know if they take the Oregon health plan insurance?

We are able to bill most insurance companies but the Oregon Health Plan is one that we are unable to bill.

it's been six months since i had my wisdom teeth removed here by dr. jelmini, and I can confidently…read moresay that my experience was wonderful. the healing was smooth with no complications, and I was back to eating pre-surgery within weeks. if you're reading this, you may also be like me and have the largest amount of anxiety thinking about needing surgery. honestly, my dentist when I was in my teens casually mentioned you probably want to get your wisdom teeth removed at some point, but one came in fully and they never were a bother so it was one of those things you can file away and forget about. until you can't. in my late 20s now, I suddenly had gum pain near one of my wisdom teeth. dentist took one look and explained the tooth was rubbing against the gum trying to grow in and will keep this irritation cycle going -- the solution long term is removal. yikes! I spent a lot of time scouring the inter webs trying to find a trustable oral surgeon and my search led me to Three Rivers. I had originally planned on getting a second opinion, but honestly, there was no need. the first appointment was a consult. I had a pano X-ray taken and then dr. jelmini went over the X-ray, agreeing that I should remove them. he patiently answered my antsy questions, reassuring me with honesty about what to expect. we talked about anesthesia options, and me being the antsy person I am, decided upon IV sedation. I was curious about PRF because I'm quite the science nerd and had been reading about this optional add-on, and dr. jelmini was more than happy to honor my request. a few days before the big day, prescriptions for helping with pain and nausea were sent over to the pharmacy. the big day came and I was SO nervous! the thought of going under! the whole process was so smooth. I checked in, took care of payment and then waited a couple minutes before being called back. Lindsay was so patient noticing my stress. honestly, everyone here was so calm and professional and it really helped calm my nerves. before I knew it, the IV was in, dr. jelmini asked how I was doing, and--- I was out! seriously, when you hear people say propofol is like a nap, they aren't kidding. I honestly have no recollection of the moment I was given propofol and it felt like a minute later and I was waking up. very groggy. the whole procedure must have been what 45 minutes tops? plan on getting lots of rest. I was so pleasantly surprised to see dr. jelmini call later in the day to make sure I was doing okay. make sure you follow the post-op advice for a smooth recovery! every day got better exponentially, and within a few days I was feeling more like myself. it just takes a bit of time to get used to the modified diet for a few weeks. I'm so glad I'm on the other side of wisdom teeth surgery, but if I could, I'd tell my younger self that it'll be okay and you're in good hands with the professional and kind staff at Three Rivers. Dr. Jelmini had excellent bedside manners, understands the anxiousness and knows what he's doing. I really appreciate how all the doctors here are up to date on the latest science, presenting regularly at conferences. Thank you, Three Rivers! I sincerely hope I never need oral surgery ever again, but thank you for advancing the field with kindness!

It's obvious to this retired physician (me) that Doctor Ugalde is a superior surgeon and the cohesiveness and care provided by every person in his office is testimonial to the way his professionalism and humanity extend to everyone with whom he works. And then there's the way he CARES for his patients - even personally calling them the evening of the surgery to see how they are doing and answer questions. What a great experience in having these issues addressed. From making the appointment and having fillable forms emailed with a submit option started on the right note to easily get the details without filling out forms in their office. The staff was ready for me upon arrival. I arrived at 2:20 for a 2:30 appointment, was called in at 2:25, and was out the door with a completed extraction at 3:03, WOW! The receptionists were very personable, and the staff was no nonsense. Explained what would happen, started the procedure and finished quickly. No pain, Dr. Ugalde is pretty humorous, and extremely professional. He even called me at 8:09 that evening to confirm I was doing alright. Better than alright, not even needing ibuprofen, really no pain. I have zero apprehension for the rest of the procedure getting the implant completed with these folks. I highly recommend them for any service you may need from an oral surgeon, along with an example how every staff should interact with their customers. Only 5 stars available but I would give them a 10 on the experience.

Procedure- Just had…read moremy wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Tenhulzen,, nothing but praise. I only needed my two upper teeth removed, so the procedure was on the less intense side of wisdom teeth extractions. Appointment was at 10:40, procedure lasted 20 minutes, 30 mins to come out of anesthesia and I was out getting a milkshake by noon. Tenhulzen and staff were quick, no-nonsense operators with a high degree of professionalism. Their wisdom teeth experience was evident with how efficient the entire procedure was, I'm not the kind of person to get caught up on sappy bedside manner, so I appreciated how very little time was wasted. In, out and on with life. Post-OP- I have very little pain or swelling, the post-operative instructions were clear and detailed. Slightly sore jaw but I've been able to eat soft foods with ease. Importantly to me is that I've been able to maintain a clear head with the drug regimen they prescribed, I'm now enjoying a very comfortable recovery.

They were quick and professional and knew how to handle my pre-surgery anxiety. Do not be strayed by his office which could use a little updating (decor is a little outdated), the skill and integrity of this doctor is what you're really in there for! I was out of surgery quickly and had a pleasant weekend, despite being stuck in bed. Due to my sensitivity to anesthesia as a kid (nausea), he came up with a series of drugs for me to take instead of the regular four prescriptions, easing the experience even more. About three hours after surgery I received a surprise at my door from his office, totally unexpected and melted my heart. That evening the doctor himself called my phone at 7 pm to check in and see how I was doing--a doctor who will stay late on a friday to personally call his patients is a doctor dedicated to his practice. As for dry sockets, I did a lot of research on doctors in the area before my surgery because I was terrified of dry sockets. What I learned (in my experience) is they are the result of how you handle your aftercare. If you're walking around and over-exertering yourself after surgery you will disrupt the clots and that's why you get dry sockets, not because of the doctor. I stayed in bed, and did not have any issues.

They were so nice and accommodating at the last minute appointment. The day of the surgery was smooth and quick. The person who helped us at the front, Karen, was extremely detailed in breaking down the price and payment options. Nothing sucks more than an unexpected bill but they make sure you understand what you're paying for which is really helpful. They provided instructions and a "to go" pack of everything needed for the healing. About a week later, my wife was still having some pain on one side so we called to just make sure she didn't have dry socket or any complications. The sweet dentist who answered (unfortunately do not remember her name!) was so helpful and offered for us to come in and have her take a look. We dropped in and she added some dry socket paste and my wife was instantly pain free. Super helpful, friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend them. Be careful - check your bill! Are they doing X-Rays that your referring dentist already did? They…read morecould have just had your dentist send over copies, but why do that when X-rays are a simple high margin business that that they can charge you for? But that is not even the main problem... I asked for a simple 5 minute meeting with the doctor to review the surgical procedure they wanted to perform on my daughter. I was not able to make the initial appointment. I wanted to see if it was absolutely necessary to do now or if it could be delayed for later when my daughter was out of school. The answer I got... "oh our Doctors don't do that - they can't take the time out of the day for a consultation." I found this very interesting considering that I come from a family of surgeons (have many friends that are surgeons) who would never take that approach with any of their patients. Not only is it a problem of liability, it is poor patient care. So then I asked for a copy of the X-ray so that I may get an independent consultation. They sent me a cheap paper copy of the X-ray (2 - 3 weeks after I had asked for it). Then, 3 months later they sent me a full bill for the X-ray they had taken - yet I still have no real copy of the X-ray. To top it off, when I called billing to enquire - the doctor who did the X-ray is no longer there! When I called the office to speak with the office manager in order to discuss getting the X-rays before I pay the bill - the receptionist tells me the office manager is not available - so I leave a message for her to call me. Does she call back? Nope! My medical friends and family are appalled by the way Columbia Oral has handled things - Columbia just lost a number of potential clients and their friends and families. When your too focused on the $$ and not enough on treating people right - it should start to catch up with you - in this case I hope it does. I am a business man, I would have written my bill off as a "bad debt" - Small amounts of money are not worth losing clients, time or reputation. They are too short sighted and self involved to see that. I recommend finding someone who takes seriously how they treat their patients. It is important to remember, it should be a privilege for them to serve you, not the other way around. These guys obviously believe it is a privilege for you to be seen by them! Be forewarned, when they smile real big and are super nice to you, that is when you cover your wallet!
