A cross bite can sometimes be simply fixed with a popsicle stick but because we are not religiously diligent with it, it did not work for us. Also, would like to note that as soon as the tooth makes the jump over the bottom front teeth, it settles into the correct spot. So it does not need a lot of help. The first thing every other ortho's tells us is braces. Which is very extreme for this situation. (no jaw issues. kid has a natural normal overbite). Dr. Senestraro, puts a composite on his bottom teeth that goes up a bit, creating a ramp, for the top tooth to slide into place. And the best part was, he did this for FREE!! My son doesn't have to suffer braces at 8 yo and I don't have to hand over my paychecks. This guy is a Life Saver!! He def has my future business.

Had the consult and was scheduled for scan of teeth to be able to get aligners made. Was then told I could not start treatment until I had card on file. I explained multiple times I don't have a card and I'd be paying with cash or check. They then try to ask me for banking checking and routing number again explained I asked before even scheduling consult with them if I needed card on file and did record my conversation when I had it with the rep that told me I didn't need card on file. They then try to offer me after maybe about a week of going back and further that I could do 1 set of aligners a month once I pay in cash or check. Uhm no too late. I'm not the one who made the mistake and gave out incorrect information. If someone makes a mistake good customer service is honoring that mistake that was made but obviously here they do not care about good customer service.

On October 28th, 2024 the day I received the new account info I went into the office to update the EFT info. It seemed all was well. Flash forward to today. I called to make a follow up appointment and they informed me my account had gone to collections. Excuse me? I have never received a phone call, voice message, email, or any other form of communication period. They claim to have called sent emails and letters but unfortunately the inbox and phone records tell a very different story. It's extremely frustrating and disappointing to not only be overlooked but also left to sort out what to do next with my treatment. Both of my daughters have been patients here in the past for orthodontics receiving their full course of treatment, over the course of several years, paid in full with no issues what so ever. In fact last year I encouraged my nephews and sister in law to also seek treatment with these folks which they have also done with no issues. Now I'm left sorting out what do next with this process its a big issue to be sure. I will be sure to share this experience with all my friends and family and those who are already patients should perhaps consider a move to another office for their ortho needs. I would encourage anyone looking at this office to think twice. Their communication is non existent and evidently they have no issue at all creating a narrative that simply isn't accurate and removing you without any compassion or concern for what comes next. Type of care I am in the initial stages of an extraction and implantation and so far so good. I called on a Friday and said I had an abscess that needed attention, the very friendly staff were able to sneak me in during their busiest time of year the following Tuesday which was miraculous. I arrived at the facility that was clean, warm, and nice. The staff were patiently thorough while doing my work up with a kind demeanor and keen attention to detail taking copious notes. Care quality The doctor took extra time going over all of the different options I had at my disposal and rating the pros, cons, and expense of each so that I was equipped with comprehensive knowledge and realistic expectations of all the treatment options he could provide which I appreciate greatly. There was no up sell or hurrying through material though I am sure he has given the same bits of knowledge a million times lol. I would recommend anyone go here for any dental needs. Office experience As luck would have it I cut my finger inside my pocket of my work uniform on accident just as I walked into the lobby. Do yourself a favor and choose Dr Cary for your dental needs. -martin 13 DEC 23 Okay I don't know who your orthodontist is but you need to trade up. I went in for an extraction and a bone graft because of an abscess in my back right bottom molar(Gross I Know but its pertinent). I already have an infection in my mouth but that didn't stop Dr. Cary from using the highest sterility standard I have ever seen before. This wasn't the usual bib with a chain like I've always had everywhere else. He made his staff take extra time and redo the setup and sterilization on my mask when he noticed a possibility of contamination. I didn't even notice that there was anything amiss but out of an abundance of caution and attention to detail Dr. Cary wanted to be sure. That is exactly how I do my job and what I want from anyone doing work on me I give kudos and high praise for that follow through and meticulousness. Once in the chair they put a gown over my torso so that only my face was showing through, and then sanitized my face and mouth with a wipe. I have never seen any other orthodontist or dentist do this and I have been to at least 4 different ones. He has the highest standards I've experienced yet and twice as much decorum. What was supposed to take two hours or less took three plus hours because my teeth are abnormally difficult to work with and I have been told this by every dentist my whole life including the two in my family. I knew he was in for a fight but didn't tell him as I wanted to test him as is my custom lol. He passed with flying colors and was apologizing to me for "So long". He should have charged me extra for the hassle and the extra time he had to put in, But he didn't because he is a good and gracious man which is hard to find in the medical field if I do say so myself and I do. So all in all I got the work done at a discount. Furthermore throughout the entire process he answered all of my questions and went into great detail. I threw everything I had at him even getting into preposterous hypothetical scenarios, and he was so kind and genteel patiently addressing all of my concerns. I cannot stress enough how fastidious he is and how paramount that is. I am in day two of recovery and I have zero pain. That has never happened before and I've had several teeth pulled. I worked all day without any pain and just mild soreness which is great because I hate pain medication. The reason there is no pain 24 hours after having my bone scraped out is because of this mans attention to detail. You must choose Cary Dental, no one is a harsher judge of character than I am, and I find no fault in this man. He is now my tooth guy and I got my grandmother to trade up also. Here's the thing people. There's Orthodontist offices ALL over the Murray Hill area. They all can…read moredo the same thing. But they're NOT all the same. This office really REALLY cares about the patients. I mean they KNOW us. They notice when we have a new look, cute outfit or shoes, ask the kids about school. It's got a super FUN vibe. They REALLY care. Dr. Park REALLY cares. She is so fun and so kind and she cares that the patient gets the result they want. I love having beautiful straight teeth. And not only that but because my teeth had ALWAYS been so crowded, I hated flossing because it hurt. I could ONLY use extra thin waxed floss. Now I floss everyday. And man I realize how nasty my teeth are if I don't lol Myself and my kids have had treatment here. ONLY my son, who refused to wear his retainer, hasn't maintained that perfect smile. We've taken 2 of our children to Dr. Drew Herion for braces. Both have had different situations - 1…read morewe were able to do teen Invisalign and the other needed traditional style braces and needed the expander prior to adhering braces. Both children received excellent and COMPETENT care and guidance. Dr. Drew always took the time to indulge the parent who "wants to know all the details and progress;" and though Dr. Drew has a thriving business, he always took the time to discuss, explain, etc. I felt he truly cares about his business as a whole and that includes in big part his patients and their families. Furthermore, the staff interaction between one another, patients and parents are easy, light and fun. There are many other little things that occur that make you feel valued and that your successful "teeth" outcome is also their success and their #1 goal. The front desk (and I believe she does a ton of other functions) - Jamie, is lovely. Always a warm and bright hello upon arrival and goodbye upon exiting and responds to call backs if you need to leave a message. Overall we enjoyed our time with the team at Meridian Park Orthodontics. The child who received teen Invisalign ended with a great smile and transitioned to retainers with no issues. The continued follow up once retainers begin is also amazing. My other child won't finish out his braces experience with Dr Drew only because we moved out of state, but the team has been very open and communicative to make sure that progress and success is achieved with our new orthodontist. That's pretty amazing and what a commitment. They aren't just - "see ya" but really are invested in the patients progress until the goal is achieved. Had we stayed in the area, we would've 100% stayed with Dr. Drew and for sure would have sent our last child to see him if/when it was their time to get braces.
