It was a day when the weather was still recovering from a snowfall. The work ethic here is very customer-focused and professional. Lisa, my nail technician, is meticulous. I usually mention that I've had surgery on my big toe, but she thoughtfully inquired about it while trimming my toenail. I was impressed. He got her to the point of having nice, natural nails with overlay. I make a standing appt once a month. My nails are growing fast. They remain nice, up to 3 wks then I'm pushing it. I don't bother with fill-ins. I change my style, length, and designs each time. I've started off long and went shorter for functionality. They have good time management when you book appts. I've been there for my nails and pedi maybe 1.5 hrs or less. They offer a beverage of wine or water. The music is always good like you'll be in full karaoke mode (R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop - old and new). They cater to the local demographic so don't come in there being extra like it's Alpharetta or John's Creek! Lol Cars are safe and they have cameras around the entire building. The cops ride up and down Old National anyway. I pay between $115-130 + tip depending on the service combo. I'll be a regular for months or years, if I can. Minus one star , no place is perfect.

They were not only friendly but they were so knowledgeable as well. We spoke at length about te gel nail polish process (I used to get gel nail polish religiously) and Nekita was adamant that gel polish should only ever be a soak removal- never with a drill. Which is RIGHT but almost no places do it anymore because it isn't the quickest method. I was tempted to get gel again just because both women seemed so in tune with really good nail practices. I have layovers relatively often in the Atlanta airport and I will be making it a point to stop here every time I do. Amazing service and great quality of care. 10/10 recommend.

I am going to give her grace because perhaps it was an off day however, I do not have to patronize a visit with my hard earned money if I'm not going to be respected. Allow me to say that the salon is not the most elegant is it the most clean. Certain things I have overlooked however, now I see that they are starting to add up charges for services when they did not before. If I am going to be subjected to premium prices, then I expect to be indulged in an atmosphere to where I am not seeing supplies in the bathroom or smelling the lunch of the technicians prepared in the back that fuses throughout the salon. To add to this the services offered are limited. The color choices or from cat eye or chrome or subpar compared to other salon however, the pricing is equivalent. Although the salon is fairly close and proximity, I will be seeking another salon for services moving forward.

For the record I've been a customer for over a year now (gel pedicures),I typically do my own Gel X…read morenails at home because YES, I am picky, particular and love for my nails to be uniform. Because it's my bday, I decided to get a full set along with my pedicure ;-/. This is the second time I've gotten my nails done at Spataneous, One regular gel mani and today's full set + gel.... not expecting the salon to care and utilize the same 2 hours I take at home, but I do expect more than what I was given... my nails look like I did them at home. The acrylic is thick and uneven and each nail looks different and/or lopsided. Rather than polish the full nail and use a thin brush with remover to remove any that gets on The skin, they'd rather skimp the nail so there's less work/cleanup. Pure laziness and lack of thoroughness! For $55, whether the appt was close to the salon closing time or not, I should love my nails. I want a refund given I have to go home, file them down and also re-polish.... My pedicure is decent but I had to ask for the nails to be filed evenly and also pointed out dead skin that was missed.... For $45, I shouldn't have to critique. I should be able to relax and trust that I will love the end result... back to the mani lol.... I was trying my best to be polite so decided to play the bday card "I need then perfect, my bday is tomorrow". The tech LITERALLY responded and stated I've mentioned my bday 10 times already and other people have birthdays too lol. I said well I'm saying it so you can do better without being micromanaged about the manicure job lol... I was done after the comment but still tipped. This is MY LAST VISIT. please Read and trust the reviews, they're all valid.... Plz find somewhere else to go! there are two other salons in the same vicinity...
