The interior is small but packed with stock, and a few very impressive display cases containing some great scale models. There were several other customers in the store and the owner/operator had a good report with all of them. He took time to talk with me and answer my questions and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciated his tips and advice. Hike the store is small it has a very good selection of model lines and models. It even had a few premium boxes which I was excited to see. Beyond the models there was also a very good selection of hobby tools paints and supplies. I will absolutely be coming back here and can't recommend it highly enough.

The prices here aren't bad at all either. The employees are very friendly too. In fact, the only reason why i rated 4 stars vs. 5 is because of the time in which you can shop here, being open for only 4hrs a day and closed Sunday-Monday. They host both the card game and the switch/video game challenges. I did have a card to trade and the breakdown of the process was the most thorough I've seen yet and I wanted store credit as you get 80% vs 70% if you got cash only. Anywho, the wait to be called did take longer than I'd like but given it was busy and my decision on what to use for store credit took awhile, I wouldn't deduct anything. Avery (sp?) was the main person who helped me and she was very patient. I also bought some playable cards (they have a stash of organized cards in bins near their staff-only area which other employees helped me out with. All-in-all, very spacious and well organized! They have one exclusively for double rares/ex cards, ultra rares/full arts, ace specs, etc. They even have a box for people to drop off ETB boxes in for people to claim for free if they want to take home. I also noticed some instant ramen station which they utilized for food in the store. They have some nice wall art too that was handprints as well. Would revisit if I'm ever back in Seattle, WA!

The staff was also friendlier and helpful. If you're looking for Pokémon cards, this is definitely not the best place to look for them. They had a bunch of single cards displayed and it looks pretty randomized. Not a good variety and honestly looks disorganized. They at least have a decent amount of sealed products, but everything was above market price. The staff wasn't friendly, nor were they interactive. The place wasn't that organized. There's a decent amount of table with you want to play card games with your friends.

The selection could be a little larger; seems they take up a lot of their usable space with their car racing track which limits room for other items. Staff seems alert and eager to please. Parking is fairly easy as they are in a major shopping center, though they are located on a street that Redmond Town center closed off for pedestrian traffic (for pedestrian safety) so you have to walk about a block from the parking areas. And I supported it wholeheartedly despite sometimes finding items slightly cheaper elsewhere. Additionally, as an art educator I always suggested it to my students for their value, as well as excellent and knowledgeable customer service. Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed to say both superb customer service and cost value are gone. Firstly, I learned from my students that student discount was no longer available. Then after my last visit, I was stunned how much the prices have increased. Still, I remained a dedicated patron. After coming home I realized one of the expensive wooden panels had a substantial gouge in the corner - simply too noticeable to try fixing. I confidently returned to the store but was told they would not take back the damaged items - because they couldn't verify it was damaged before my purchase. The associate was unbearably rude and dismissive. One my way out I expressed my profound disappointment with the current direction of this trusted business with another associate, only to have the associate I originally spoke with catch up with us. Now they changed their song, saying they could accept the damage item but I was very lucky because it's not something they always do. What?! The associate appeared to be making up policies as they went along. In the end I kept the damaged wooden panel, as I will keeping my business away from this place.

Summer is their busy season, so I definitely recommend doing it sooner before the weather gets too hot. The whole plastic for the window was about $99 (before tax) and the additional AC cut-out was about $50 (before tax). Once they took my order, the wait time was about one and half weeks for me. From the moment we walked in, the staff completely ignored us. No greeting, no acknowledgment, not even a glance. I watched them welcome and gladly assist every older white couple who came in, but we were treated like we did not belong there. It felt uncomfortable and honestly a little shocking. This is something my son and I truly enjoy together, and I spend thousands of dollars each year on Lionel VisionLine and MTH Premier Line pieces along with other premium train collectibles. I came in ready to support this store, but after the way we were treated, I will not be spending a single dollar here again.
