Nice place to chill and have a drink with the boys. Bartender Nicole is cool as hell.

Not a bad place at all. The bartenders and performers are very friendly and approachable.

Lotus Rooftop - Chicken and waffles served on skewer stick + my blue rum drink

So in celebration of Beyoncé and Cowboy Carter, we found this spot called Lotus in Passaic, NJ that…read morewas doing a themed brunch. It sounded super cute like, perfect pre-show vibes. First off, we couldn't even find the place. When we finally did, the front was completely blacked out and the security guard had on a bulletproof vest... sketchy. But we went in anyway. The first floor had a weird smell, so we went upstairs. The vibe was better up there, and the host was really nice. The decor was totally on theme, very Cowboy Carter. The brunch menu looked decent, but weirdly we couldn't order any appetizers just the brunch entrees. Kinda annoying, but whatever. We got the shrimp and grits, and the chicken and waffles (served on a skewer). Oh and we had to pay right when we ordered. Like... why? That was definitely a red flag. But surprisingly, the food was actually so good. As for drinks, I got something with rum and it was solid. My partner ordered the $30 mimosa pitcher, and it was mostly juice way too sweet. Definitely not worth it. The food is 11/10, but not my everyday go to spot!!! Try it out and let me know your thoughts

We visit this rooftop because my friend said it was a nice spot. I honestly feel it was overpriced for a Saturday night. $20 entry fee wasn't bad. Hookah was overprice $30 and it was hardly pulling any smoke. We got a bottle of Don Julio which was $345.

The place is very cute inside with different seating areas, multiple bars and a closed in outdoor patio with heaters which is where my friends and I partied the night away. We arrived around 10 pm and the place was mostly empty, but as the hours passed, the place got packed! We attended on a Latin night and I actually loved the good mix of music - it was mostly Spanish music, but not all. I really liked how we did not have to pay for bottle service for a table, because most other places require it in order to have a seat or table. The drinks are fairly priced, however, the hookah was a whopping $42. So we opted out of that. Maybe that's how much the price is now but I remember back in the day paying $25 for a hookah. I had a great night out and definitely will return. Thank you for a great night, 46 Lounge!

Being used to places like Illusions at the Sheraton Mahwah as well as the Limelight and Webster Hall, the NYE advertisement made it far larger than it actually is. Paid $100 for open bar and buffet - which is super reasonable but we would have preferred a table but none were available. Getting drinks throughout the night was not a problem - always prompt and friendly. The buffet was actually quite good which included jumbo shrimp, sushi, Spanish food , Italian, and lots of appetizers which were pretty good. In the beginning, we thought it was a bad idea coming as it was quite empty at 8pm. By 10:30, it was quite busy and at 11:30, packed to the limit. They served midnight champagne, party favors, and were quite well staffed. The BIG issues.... It was open bar. So I probably had at least 12-15 drinks. I would be normally plastered for drinking so much (and I don't normally drink very much). I just wanted a slight buzz so that I would enjoy the constant dancing. I always saw them pour at least 1 shot of alcohol per drink. I wasn't even slightly buzzed or drunk for that matter. Leads me to believe they watered down the bottles. I can't prove anything but the fact we drank so much all night with no effects leads me to wonder. Second, with hundreds of people and 1 women's bathroom with 2 stalls, my wife was was holding it in instead of waiting for a 30 minute + line. In the end, we did enjoy the NYE party very much. $100 is pretty reasonable but with alcohol issues, I would skip the place if that is important yo you.

One section is garden inspired and the other section has more of a club feel. Our waiter was friendly and provided great recommendations. (Plus some spicy peppers for us to try, bit much for my palate) We ordered a lot of food. One of my friends really enjoyed the beef soup, the cucumber salad was pretty much sliced cucumbers, the yogurt dip was fresh and tasty, and the Bulgarian salad was a hit with great pieces of feta. The Deja Vu grilled platter for two was outstanding! So much delicious variety of meats! We added a skirt steak that my friend wanted, plus the pork and beef patties in Marsala sauce, and the white bean casserole. The bean and Marsala dishes were excellent! It was a struggle but we finished all of the meat! Definitely look forward to returning!

It's the perfect spot for a date or to lounge around and grab some drinks! Sometimes places with pretty aesthetics lack in food quality or taste, but not here!! Everything is incredibly fresh and comes out piping hot! For appetizers I got fried calamari and pastrmajlija (a traditional flatbread)! I really loved both dishes - the quality of the squid was excellent and the flatbread was so flavorful with the olives! For my main dishes, I got the sofra for 2 and shish kebabs - there was so much delicious and tender meat My sweet cocktails, the strawberry margarita and blue hugo, were both vibrant and strong which matched the floral and colorful vibes perfectly! Whether it's vibes, drinks or food, this place surpasses expectations!
