i recently got back from my birthday trip in cancun. me and my people stayed at Temptation and they really know how to bring the party. among arriving the grounds can be overwhelming at first. we had to ask the bell hop to show us to our rooms. he was very helpful and kind. after that the place was pretty easy to navigate. The service was top notch. the food wasn't great and the music was only ok. but where it lacked it made up for it in other areas. We booked the garden trendy budget friendly option and it was GREAT. barely spent anytime in the room but i have no complaints. the bed was firm but not uncomfortable. the staff are all so nice and catered to everyone phenomenally. i will definitely return to this resort. if you have an open mind and like fun, this is the place for you. read more

I really wanted to try this hotel out being a single guy. I loved the ambiance, and most the staff are really nice, until you find out why. The first thing on check-in they want to sign you up for a first timers tour, which is actually a sale pitch to become a member. My biggest complaint was, I left my room for an hour while the cleaning staff could clean, and when I came back 5000 pesos were taken. I know how it works in Cancun, so had to kiss that money goodbye. I was also given free covid test as part of the stay, however they never sent me my results which caused me to miss my flight, and have to stay two more nights at a different hotel. Just got back from temptation resort Cancun for my bachelor party and had an ABSOLUTELY amazing time!! Stayed in the tower and the rooms were incredibly nice. Food was nothing out of this world but very good and nothing was bad. The best part of this resort in my opinion was the beautiful staff. I've traveled all of the world and stayed in many resorts and this was by far the best staff I've ever seen! From the waitresses to the cleaning staff and most of all the play staff. Tinker Bell , Kelly , Natacha, Sarp, and the Mexican beer chugging god, (Forgot his name) had a smile on their faces every single day. Even when they were not in the middle of an event they would hang out and bullshit with you. I have been here 36 hours and it has hands down been the worst resort experience I've ever had: this rip off poorly constructed resort is actually offensive to vacations. It's a complete money grab covered over with a amateur porn (perhaps a brothel) persona. I have never in all my years of coming south been so disappointed in a stay/ these vacations that we pay a significant price for shoukd be designed to make the guest feel like they are carefree and special: this tragic excuse for a getaway has done nothing but charged and swindled like a back alley whore house. We decided to get a way for a few days for New Years and couldn't seem to find a modern resort in Cancun. Even our go-to's (Ritz-Carlton, The W, etc.) were not up to par with what we were looking for. At the last minute we found Temptation All Inclusive Resort. Even though a bit loud in colors we thought this was a really cool and modern place to stay. 1) After booking, the resort immediately took our full payment. They sent a receipt that looked like it was from a 3rd party site even though we booked directly through the website. We thought it was weird but had a hard time getting in touch with someone via phone. It wasn't a big surprise that on the day of arrival they misplaced our reservation and took them 15 minutes to find. A little inconvenient, yes, but they were extremely polite, they still had our suite available, and resolved the issue as quickly as they could. 2) The room was brand new, nice, and clean. We booked the Ocean front suite that had large ceiling to floor windows in the room and large windows in the bathroom - both looking out to the beach and ocean right below. One issue we had was that the air conditioner wouldn't turn off or change in temperature. We had several technicians come to our room to fix but the easiest option we found was to crack the sliding doors to the balcony so that the air conditioner would auto shut off. 3) The WiFi setup was horribly complicated and took multiple attempts to set up with the front desk. It caused us to use up our cellular data because it wouldn't stay on. 4) The food is mediocre. Don't expect 5-star restaurants at this resort. The presentation of the food is great but the taste was not. We did like the Asian themed restaurant called Sutra for dinner and Rain/Flame restaurants for breakfast and lunch. The other restaurants were just ok. We also think they were watering down the liquors 5) They had very creative events each day at the sexy pool that were fun even to just watch. If you are in your room, it is a bit loud if you are trying to get some sleep. 6) There are live events each night at 10pm that are also a lot of fun. And you can't forget about the themed parties right after the live events! A lot of guests take their costumes seriously lol. If you are looking to party this is the place to be. The only concern I had was the little to no hip hop but it wasn't a deal breaker. 7) Staff was really nice and they seemed to take a genuine interest in our concerns even if they couldn't fix the issue. 8) Spa is awesome. I had a really good 80 min. massage. 9) There was only one heated jacuzzi which was weird because all throughout the resort were jacuzzis but they were cold (maybe it's different in summer?!). 10) There's a "no photos" policy at the sexy pool but not anywhere else in the resort. So we were surprised when security and management approached us in different areas and during multiple times asking us to delete our photos. 11) Demographics: A21-65, mostly Caucasian with just sprinkles of diversity, mostly couples but some groups of flirtatious singles. Overall I still give this place 4 stars because despite the issues that we had, it was an amazing experience that I don't think we would have had at any other resort. I booked a beachfront suite, got a regular room. No price adjustment r refund granted despite me showing my email confirmation to the staff. The room looks nothing like the pictures advertised. It's very obvious that no one bothered sanitizing. There are stains on the tables, floors, walls and toilet which I am documenting for a lawsuit. I had to clean the room myself. No minibar as advertised. The beach is small and full or seaweed. Vomit on the pool chairs. I had very high expectations, based on the pictures and price but this hotel isn't worth a penny. If you wanna get treated like a child at a adult hotel this is the place. I checked in Friday I asked about excaret they told me they had a deal for 140ish so Saturday morning i go down to set the date and pay to find out there's a catch...you have to take a tour with a sales rep that try's to up sales you to black bracelet, they sit down with you and try to have breakfast. We refused to have some random person sit with us for breakfast and explained we weren't interested in the up sale, we ate and went upstairs to speak to Arturo and he explains to us that we need to take the tour in order to get the xcaret deal so we decided to do it just for the deal. We get another sales rep she starts taking us to the food court and she's asking me why am I mad I responded with I'm not mad and she keeps asking to the point where it got me mad we're walking towards the cafeteria and I mention we already had breakfast she says "we'll it's not here on the paper" and puts the paper in my face I kept myself calm and mention to my bf what she just did because he was in front of me. We sit down at the cafeteria and I get on my phone to message my kid and she rudely starts talking to me like if i was a child and tells me to get off my phone I obviously got defensive because you're not gonna talk to me like that and told my boyfriend I rather pay regular price than to deal with that bitch and she says "I'm not gonna give you a tour just so you can xcaret deal" and as we're walking away she proceeds to make unprofessional comments, we go upstairs to talk to someone about what had happened and when we're giving the complain to someone else about her attitude she rolls her eyes and walks away. Everything else from our vacation was okay except for that experience, none the less I wouldn't want to return with temptation nor any other hotel they are associated with. Tips: - research the theme nights so you can be prepared, participating makes the party more fun and many people plan very well - you are in very comfortable weather but the sun will cause your drink to warm up quick, take drink tumblers to insulate cold temps for your drink - research the reviews but be open minded, a lot of it is not true and it boils down to perspective - we almost did not go based on a review of the food which was completely wrong - don't over pack but make sure you have checked restaurant/event dress codes - it is on the website. I was waiting in line for dinner @ SHE and a guy in front of me was wearing shorts and was declined entry as the restaurant required pants which he didn't have - lucky for him I had an extra pair of jeans and let him use my extra pair so he would not ruin his night - if you have an agenda or somewhere to be, cancel your plans and freestyle with no schedule to follow except getting breakfast by 11am before the take it away - the gift shop is VERY overpriced, if you want something specific just buy it before you do otherwise you are looking at 300% markup. Specifics: -Travel day arrived around 3pm due to airport baggage delays and a couple traffic accidents due to heavy rain -Travel day was exhausting and we thought we would have energy to jump right into the party however we were both very tired, so plan your playtime accordingly - during check-in they wanted to schedule a V.I.P. breakfast with my wife and I. This was not appealing as I didn't want to have to a commitment to be somewhere, it is vacation! They said it would only take an hour and based on other people we met sharing that they were stuck for up to 3 hours with aggressive sales people trying to sell a membership which ranges from $1,000 to $100,000 - and they do offer setting up monthly payments. Thankfully I continued to say NO and did not give in to agreeing to meet for breakfast. I saved myself the sales pitch and alot of frustration and time. During checkin just be firm and stand your ground that you do not want to waste 3 hours of a sales pitch, after multiple attempts they give up. - during check-in they will try to hook you for the "boobs cruise" and will ask for a cash deposit of 20%. I would suggest NOT to give a deposit as the boat was not full and they were still selling tickets an hour before the cruise departed. The cruise is a catamaran for couples only, no single people allowed. The boat only goes out on Monday and Friday. NOTE: although we did not go, we verified through many people that when you are on the boat, anything goes... full sex to BJ games. We didn't go and lost our deposit for two main reasons, the boat had no seats and zero sun shade, can you imagine how you'll feel after standing for 6 hours in direct sun....nope! Also we did not want to get sunburn and ruin the rest of our trip. - stay hydrated, you can ask the resort to bring a case of water to your room - they say you need dinner reservations but we found showing up around 6/630pm most places could seat us. We shared this with new friends we met and they had the same experience. Don't let the "reservation" stop you from trying, but if you can get a reservation do it so it's guaranteed. - Saturday they run a FOAM party, get ready for some wild fun. The pool has tons to offer including drinks, food, and people everywhere. - the night club scene was tons of fun, it is what you make it. They provide entertainment to open the night then non-stop music, drinks, and dancing. This is where the theme nights come in, be prepared and you will shine. First time: Ok a first time for everything. Knowing that this resort is considered a 'swingers' resort, that means people are open minded. The people are awesome and 99% of everyone is respectful of your body and conversation. We encountered 3 guys that came solo and were total creepers, but it was easy to avoid them once we knew without a lot of hard word. We met every gender, race, size, all the above people and they were all fantastic. The first night I forgot to close our door and it was cracked open while we were having sex in our beachfront room. The next night as we were exiting the room to go to dinner, our neighbors were headed out at same time and asked what a 'cracked open' door meant at the resort. Being new to this type of a resort, I told him it was just me being a dumbass for forgetting to close the door but others might do that as an initiation into the room to party. Our neighbors were attractive and after one night we left a note on their door handle to come over and play. Not having a lot of conversation between us and the neighbors, they came over and knocked and next thing I know we are having sex and they are having sex in the same room. I'm writing the review I wish I read before I booked this trip. I'd like to start by saying this was the best trip my husband and I have taken in a long long time. RESTAURANTS The restaurants are fantastic considering it's an all inclusive hotel. Make sure you get up early and book your reservation for the two places that need them. The cafeteria by the pool was probably my least fav, but the fresh juices and fruits and made to order stations are far better then any other hotel I've stayed at. I also never once saw anyone tip, which is another thing that sets this resort apart. The wait staff was amazing and on top of everything we needed. POOL *Grab your chairs folks. People will get up early and throw towels out then disappear til about 2pm, which is when the pool start to spice up. I dont agree with this practice, but you cant change it. The best chairs are in front of the pool bar or right next to it. If you show up at 12am you won't find many open places. *The pool can be wild or mild. Depending on what you want. It's topless and you will see every shape, size and age rockin their bodies. Everyone talks and flirts with everyone. However this place is known to be more open and things get a little spicy in front of the bar. No, no one is having sex. Yes, everyone is making out, getting close and enjoying each other. Married or single you can get in the action or stay off to the side and enjoy the view. * The drinks are strong and not knock off liquor. Enjoy! THE SWINGERS Yes people come here to play. I'm assuming you know that before booking. Everyone is really respectful tho. No means NO. Like I said before, it is all about what you get into. You can stay away from the action but show your partner more love then the normal hotel or you can meet a couple/single and explore something new. *this hotel is more geared for couples but there were a lot of groups of girls or guys who went. It was also LGBTQ friendly. The mix of people was amazing. THE CLUB This is where it gets super fun.. again you can avoid it but you will see a lot more. There are theme nights. People go all out. (There is a shop on sight, but I would study and plan.) Ladies will come without panties on under net outfits, the pajama night means tiny nighty. People are touching, dancing and letting loose. Girls don't have many rules, the boys are a little more behaved. It's a blast. THE STAFF The staff rocks. Very professional. Very respectful and do their best to make sure you are having a blast. One night I was a little (lot) tipsy and in bed and we couldn't get our light off. They came right down and fixed it.. and at 3 am in all my glory, tits out, all I wanted was a cheese burger. Not only did they get the light off they returned with a cheese burger in about 15 min with a smile. That service is priceless. THE ROOMS AND HOTEL *This hotel will try and give you a tour to sell you on a vacation package. They leave things on your door trying to sell you or grab you in the lobby with promises of lobster dinner, an upgraded room or a massage for your "hour". It's never an hr and everyone we talked to who did it spent 3+ hrs on the tour. I think these packages can be great if you have time to come back all the time. They should be offered at check in and you should have the choice to go. I dont like to be sold things, and what really bothered me was when the lady told me no shops were open in the mall because it was to early, it was 10am. She said we can't shop til 11, exactly the time it took to go on the tour. We ignored her and left to find all the shops open. *The rooms are nice. We had the one by the quiet pool with the hot tub. I recommend getting as far away from the club as possible. THE BEACH Not much of a beach and people from other hotels walk bye. It was still beautiful. I can not wait to get back to this hotel. Great stay! I wouldn't put more than 2 people in a standard room. Any staff I encountered was very pleasant and helpful. Lots of food options. I'm not sure if you can but I would try to make a reservation at the Hibachi restaurant in advance or the first day you arrive. You can eat there if no reservationbut the chef will not cook in front of you. The night party also has a small buffet and a cook. The pool closes early (don't remember the time) but depending on our excursion time we would miss the pool or get back in time for about a hour. I just returned from my amazing Cancun temptation vacation! It was amazing and a very memorable experience. This hotel is not for those whom are judgmental, extremely serious or close minded. This is a free of judgement zone, it's like no other adult experience. Yes you have your couples, singles and some swingers. The environment you choose to be around. I had an awesome time here for my bday. I love that EVERYONE was so friendly and partied together, that was by far the most diverse AND fun group! The drinks and food were delicious but they charge you $5 for room service which ain't too bad I guess. The only thing is they don't tell you its a swingers resort (even after you call and ask). They have a sexy pool where girls are usually topless and making out. I saw one couple making out with two other girls. I didn't really mind because YOLO lol.. I just didn't like that they denied it when I called to ask and all the employees are aware of what goes down. This hotel is a scam - beware before booking. My gifriend and I just stayed at this hotel and they offer deals that aren't real and make you pay extra for them. We were told we would get an extra night pass if we stayed for a 30 minute long presentation that lasted for two hours where they tried to sell us on a $60,000 package (lol) and then never received the night pass. If that's not enough of a reason to never stay here, the design of the hotel makes absolutely no sense and is poorly chosen. the rooms all face each other so you have essentially no privacy and the design feels like an unfinished construction project, not in a cool modern way, but in a cheap tacky way. The pool is only open until the evening so you can't really enjoy it and they reserve spots for people who pay extra money, but those people are nowhere in site. If you want to have any fun, you're better off staying at home with your friends or going to a resort that respects their customers. read more

THEFT / ROOM BROKEN INTO AND ITEMS STOLEN I came to the resort with a group of 6 other friends to celebrate my best friends birthday. We all stayed in the trendy garden view suites and booked for a total of 5 nights. The second day of our stay, my room was broken into during dinner hours, from the balcony door and my Louis Vuitton purse and all my cash was stolen. All my items were rummaged through and thrown out. The vault was not working in the room and we immediately called the front desk to make them aware of this. They came in to have us file a report and proceeded to search through our items, making it clear to us that they didn't believe my items were stolen. We went to the police station to file a report and requested a formal review of cameras etc. The police officer was extremely detailed in letting us know that this kind of stuff happens at Temptation resort very often and that the hotel will likely not support us. She proceeded to tell us that they have done formal investigations with them before and they just tell the police that the cameras do not work and stall any possible review/resolution. Her recommendation to us was to complete our vacation at the rui or sandals, where it is safer and the staff in charge take things like this seriously. I kept on requesting for the cameras to be reviewed and for some sort of resolution from the hotel - and they kept stringing me along. Saying they would review it the next day and will follow up. I kept on requesting an update and provided the police report to them, a receipt for the purchase of my Louis Vuitton bag, pictures of me when I landed in Cancun with the purse on my arm. All they have told me is that their legal department is reviewing. I requested for delta vacations to reach out to them as well, because I booked everything though them; and even with that, they have not assisted me. This was a very disheartening experience and overshadowed any fun I would've likely had at this place - because overall the staff and other guests were having a very fun experience. Unfortunately my entire friend group of 6 people (who paid about 4K USD each) did not have a good experience after this happened to me. I want to specifically say that Cardova (head of security), Antonio Salas were very unhelpful and tried to bribe me with $200 credit at the resort (to have me not request payment for my 2,500 LV bag). Edgar and Napoleon attempted to help me, but clear that they did not receive support from upper management to proceed with an actual investigation and support. I will end with the caution to you all to be very vigilant staying at this hotel; it is not safe. If they see you check in with an item that they want, they will work in coordination with house keeping to break in and take your items. read more

(If you care to eat good food) The atmosphere is a bit ..trashy Forget about trying to call the front desk from your room if you need anything like a taxi or water, the operator will make you wait while she's transferring you to someone that never picks up. The activity at the pool is pretty basic and boring. You will see some topless aged women here, not exactly summer break crowd. So to start off, let me begin by saying that we came to this resort because TripAdvisor rated it high - not because of the new concept of the resort. Although we were attracted to the "adults only" aspect of this hotel, we wanted a warm get away on a resort that didn't have children. I am going to start from the beginning, when we arrived... the staff was super friendly and greeted us at the door, took our luggage, walked us to the front desk, and asked if we wanted a drink. The check-in was very quick. We arrived at 1pm (normal check in is 3pm) and they were able to give us a room right away (we had anticipated that we would be waiting around the resort until 3pm). My husband and I had a blast it was so freeing to run around topless with no judgement. Beautiful resort, friendly staff. The food was not the best thought. If you are not premier they charge you 5.00 for room service. I did not like the fact that they were always trying to sell you into the time share. I also felt that if you were not premier guest you were tried as second class. During the theme nights most of the tables were reserved to premier guest, I noticed some pictures with towel animals on beds etc., yeah unless your premiere you don't get that, The beach is also topless but I did notice some families walking on the beach. Beware of extortion and discrimination. I booked three rooms for clients. One client was arrested and the roommate (who was not even around for the incident) is being told that she will need to leave the resort as well or pay for a new room! Like really? How does that work when the room is already paid in full and both parties are listed on the reservation? This resort is illegally extorting Americans for money! A roommate being kicked out of a resort is no grounds to remove their travelling companion who is 1) listed on the reservation and 2) booked for another week!! My client was crying because she was so upset and the resort told her that if she kept crying, they would kick her out. My client asked the resort to let her see the agreement that she signed at check-in so she can see if she really agreed to this and they refused to give it to her! They locked her out of her original room (even though the room was fine), made her pay $1,320 to go into another room with other traveling companions and are telling her she is not eligible for a refund! I will be checking their website to see if they re-list the room as available. The resort was sold out for the rest of the week, so if her room is being advertised, I will know! They got her fill payment on her first room and made her pay $1,300 to go into a room with someone else. If they put her room up again and make another $4,000 off of it, that's nearly $10,000 of money illegally taken from Americans! BEWARE!!! read more

Stayed four days and three nights here for a bachelorette. The only reason why I am giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because Patric the manager tried his absolute best to make our experience enjoyable despite the many mishaps along the way. I sincerely appreciate the effort he made!Tinker bell, an employee at the parties, David and Carlos, 2 bellboys, were the only employees who were friendly and really fun to be around. Now down to brass tacks: 1.) They don't make you feel particularly welcome. The employees, ESPECIALLY front desk employees, make you feel like you are annoying them. Very unprofessional. They tell you they will handle things and then mysteriously disappear and are unavailable when you try to follow up. Looking at you Amir. 2.) Many of our suites smelled like mold and sulfur and the floors were uneven and had bumpy cracks in them. We took a downgraded room to escape the smell, and were moved back to suites the following day. So we had to pack/unpack several times. One of our rooms had blood on the pillow and pubes on the toilet seat. The doors will not swing closed and lock on their own like most hotels, so you have to be extra careful to push the door closed. A random man walked into our room uninvited because he saw us through the balcony window and i guess thought he was going to get lucky. Luckily we had a huge group of girls and we physically pushed him out, but that would be terrifying for two girls by themselves in a room. David and Carlos took care of all of our bags and were really great about it. 3.) It was fun dressing up for their themed parties and Tinkerbell was a blast to hang out with. The crowd however, is the same people you will see every night. Thanks Tink for being so welcoming! 4.) The beach was quiet, beautiful, and the resort is right on it. Loved our beach day! Enjoyed the buffet food but be sure to take lots of singles with you for tips as you go! Their atm charged $10 worth of fees if you try and pull out more cash. Seems silly since the cash being pulled out is going back to the resort. It's a party resort so don't go expecting peace and quiet! The pools all close at 7:00pm which bummed us out. We wanted to go for some night dips and drinks. 5.) Patric, thanks for trying so hard to make it right. He spoke with us personally, was very kind, and things went really well when he was around. He obviously cares a great deal about the patrons' experience but unfortunately, the rest of the employees don't seem to care about their image or reputation when he is off grounds. Overall, I do not recommend this place. I look forward to visiting Cancún again in the future but will never stay at any Temptations Resort or Resort affiliated with Temptations ever again. read more

I came as a referral and one of the employees stole my cell phone and the hotel staff did everything in their power to make sure they got away. Great introduction to your hotel. No help whatsoever, refused to check cameras, addresses, or call the police. I was assured that they would handle it as it seems they didn't want to make a scene, but that was just to stall until it was untrackable. The entertainment was the best part of this hotel. The rooms are small and need work. There were ants inside despite there being no food. They are supposed to be at 60% capacity but had no rooms available to change. No toiletries in the bathroom, I had to beg for some and even then not enough provided. I tried to order drinks from 2 different bars on separate occasions and the bartender gave me an attitude and didn't fulfill my order, I just asked another bartender. My wife and I were using the jacuzzi tub on the balcony at 4:30 pm and noticed two employees watching us from the top floor. We were on the 6th floor and they were up on 7th floor. We repeatedly tried to understand that perhaps they were indeed cleaning or going about their business but it was quite obvious that they were getting closer and trying to catch glimpses of us more and more. We called the management at the hotel and were informed security was looking into it. I felt that due to the extreme nature of this privacy violation, further action needs to be taken in order for us to ever feel safe returning or not sharing this experience with other future guests. We had fun here but it wasn't exactly the "sexy" crowd we were looking for. It was more of a beer n cigarettes with a tramp stamp chugging fireball type of crowd. The rooms were comfy but the walls were thin and the food was ok for all inclusive. Over all I would stay here again just for the no kids atmosphere but it could definitely use some improvement. read more

This hotel, unfortunately, was an all around disappointment. On our first day here we were greeted by a woman who tried to sell us on a hotel membership. When we informed her we were not interested at this time she became upset and walked away. Later that day we were frolicking around the pool only to witness a woman giving a man a blow job out in the open. I understood the concept of the hotel to be open, not repulsive. The hotel gives you bands to wear on your wrist for the duration of your stay. About 30 mins after I had mine put on it fell off. My husband's fell off a couple hours later. When we went to the front desk to let them know they fell off, the front desk receptionist Estephanie accused us of cutting them off and told us we would be charged if they fell off again. My husband and I were speechless. Why on earth would we cut them off, then immediately give them back to her to put back on. Very poor customer service from her especially but the hotel as a whole. Juan from the Flame restaurant was very rude and condescending to the point that we left without dinner. Will definitely not return to Temptation. We are shortening our stay here and going back to Hyatt Zilara. read more

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW: First off, this resort is AMAZING! They are cleaning everything 24/7. BRING A YETI*** They will fill it at any bar with whatever you want. The buffet food(Rain) is what you'd expect for breakfast and lunch but for dinner they also have a hibachi/ sushi restaurant(Sutra), an Italian restaurant (Romanza), a seafood restaurant (Sea Flirt), a steak house(Flame), an aphrodisiac restaurant(SHE), a little cafe by the lobby bar and a few others. We tried them all aside from SHE and they were all delicious. EXCELLENT SERVICE !!! Kevin at the buffet was by far the best server we ever had. He went out of his way for us every morning. Pablo at Romanza was also outstanding. We actually went back to see him a different night and he remembered all our drinks from 4 nights before. For Sutra and SHE you need reservations which you have to make in the lobby at 8am. There is a line at 8am so be prepared to go a little early. They also have room service 24/7 for $5 that you order on the TV. There is also burgers by the theme night parties late at night outside. Speaking of the theme nights, come prepared. There is something different every night and most people are dressed for it. This is the only night life. There are no clubs here. The show starts around 10pm then the party starts and goes until 2am. There are games from 10-4pm at the pool but remember NO PICTURES OR VIDEO TAPING at or around the pool (including theme night parties). Yes there are plenty of topless women but you will not feel pressured at all to take your top off if you do not want too. I was super nervous about this but mine stayed on all week and no one bothered me about it. If you're like me and worried about the topless thing, please know you will always feel comfortable and safe at this resort. But keep in mind it is an older crowd with their tops off. They have "play makers" by the pool hosting the games but they do not pressure anyone to do anything. Mar, Alejandra and baby face were amazing & super personable. ROOMS: The rooms are always clean and comfy. Our rooms AC was not working but we also never said anything because we did not want to be moved to another room because our friends were next to us. But they replenish the towels, the fridge and change the sheets everyday. CHECK IN: Super easy, keep your mask on and tell them you are not interested in premiere. Every single person we spoke to said it takes hours for the meeting and its not worth it. They give you a bracelet with your hotel key on it which I LOVE! You never have to remember to bring your key or being separated and one person not having a key. COVID: So you wear a mask until you check into the resort and masks are needed in the room you go for your covid swab 3 days before you leave. Outside of the resort you also need a mask. The staff keeps their masks on 24/7 and like I said, they are constantly cleaning and disinfecting everything. SOUVENIRS & EXCURSIONS: So of course, if you are looking to do some shopping or leave the resort... everything is cheaper outside the resort. There are guys on the beach selling excursions. Jet skis, ATVs, zip lining, booze cruises, etc. We booked a few things with a guy who calls himself "MOFO". All of which were cheap and so fun! If you go uptown or down town there are a trillion shops! You can take a bus for $1 USD or a cab for $10-$15. There is a huge flea market by Senor Frogs and Coco Bongo, or you can check out Market 28 which is 800 shops and restaurants. Its over whelming. You can haggle at both to drop pricing which is annoying but worth it. This is where you will find the real Mexican food. ALSO, there is hardly any beach behind this resort. If you are looking for a nice beach you have to go down the strip a bit. Keep in mind the beach is not private. There is a "quiet pool" with no games or partying. CONS: The music can be better. The crowd is mostly Americans maybe 40-60 and 90% of the music is techno. I have never been to a resort like this. Its usually more Spanish music. I thought this was going to be a little different and more "clubby" like coco bongo ! (Which we went to Sunday... still amazing) The swim up bartenders completely ignore one side of the pool. My other CON is the guests, not the resort. Who goes away and does not tip their servers/ bartenders???? These people work for tips. More often than not, I saw people constantly requesting service/ drinks and not giving a single dollar. Its sad. That's all I can think of. Hope this helps future travelers! ENJOY!!!! read more

This was my first time ever doing an all inclusive and only my second time in any sort of resort. I tend to be more of a city vacationer, but I was in need of a trip where I didn't do need to think or pay for things - I wanted an easy relaxing time. I also didn't want to be around kids and I wanted a more adult atmosphere. After hearing about the Desire resorts and not finding anything affordable, I fell into a Groupon deal for Temptation and saw it was the same parent company. So I booked a Bash Tower room for my fiance and myself for 4 nights. That felt to me like enough time to see if we liked it. OVERALL: I had a really good time. I would go back for sure. I might go back with a few friends as it seemed a lot of people rolled in "crews" and looked like a hoot. I brought clothes to participate in all of the theme nights (even though we had a few too many shots and missed one of the nights, womp womp!). I DEF packed way too many clothes as I spent most of the time in either my bathing suit or my evening clothes. One or MAYBE two sundresses would have been more than enough. Who comes to this resort? EVERYONE. All ages, colors, shapes, sizes. Everyone was kind and welcoming and there to have fun. The Playmakers really make it a good time - I thought they would be cheesy but they were actually great entertainers. I really enjoyed Dakota as he was a flavor of home while away and made us feel more comfortable in uncharted waters. I ended up buying a Bubba mug there as I didn't realize it was a "thing" and then I got jealous that I didn't have one. THE FOOD: Now, I've been told it was "good resort food". This does not equal good food. BUT it was all fine. Some things and places better then others. SHE was a fun experience, though I was underwhelmed with the food. The mexican restaurant was MEH. I wanted something more authentic. Room service was also FINE, nothing to write home about. My favorite meal was actually breakfast at Sea Flirt. Don't miss that! Overall, some of the food had been sitting out too long, or was underseasoned. I was afraid to eat raw veggies after hearing about people getting sick, and the buffet sea food turned by stomach. DRINKS: Lots of claims drinks were watered down. Were they? I dunno, I think it depends on what you get. Personally I drank a lot of beer (can't water down a can of Tecate) and a lot of rum & diets. And if the mixed drinks were watered down, good: I don't need 5 margaritas at dinner. CHECK-IN: We got in much later then we were scheduled to- around 9pm. That said: we didn't get a welcome drink or towel and service at the desk was not very good. It was a bad first impression, especially since the next day we saw people getting much more grand welcomes. Luckily this was the only mediocre staff we had the entire time. Otherwise, checkin was normal. I did the express checkin, which did not seem to matter. We also never got the pool butler our room was supposed to have - and I asked at least FOUR staffers about it and no one knew what I was talking about... I don't like being told I get something and then not getting it. It was very frustrating bc some people DID have it and it resulted in us not getting pool chairs two days. And on the last day I HUSTLED down and got the last two I found together. Also, I had emailed that it was our engagement trip and I was a little disappointed that we didn't have any special room decorations. I know it's silly, but a lot of people got this as well and we did not. THE ROOM: Bath Tower Ocean View: we really liked our room. The ocean view balcony was so nice, we frequently stepped out and hung outside. Our room was a tad too musty - we saw some mold and our throats are a bit sore after a few nights. We tried to keep the balcony door open as much as we could to air it out, but it seemed the AC was the culprit of the air quality. The big cabinets were weird, it was kind of a pain to find out stuff and I was afraid i was going to slice my face on one if I kept it open. I did like the nice big bathroom, but the shower would have been better if it had two shower heads since it was big enough for at least 2 people lol. Otherwise, room was nice and big. The benefit to the room was the rooftop, which was underutilized but nice to have included. ENTERTAINMENT: Top notch. The shows and games were a great break in the day and kept us entertained. They were really fun and definitely a highlight for me. I wish we had gotten up and at 'em a bit earlier to have tried the morning fitness classes, but that did not happen on this trip. CLOSING THOUGHTS: This resort is just fun. Go, leave your inhibitions at home, get out there and participate and yoou will have fun. Is there room for improvement? Yes: air quality, some of the food, ensuring guests receive the amenities they should. But the things that make it fun: the activities, the playmakers, and the other guests! read more

I went to Celebrate my 32nd Birthday with my Husband and a couple of Friends and had the Time Of My Life!!!! However the evening Before our Departure I came back to my room and noticed that the Hotel Manager and Staff delivered a Complimentary Bottle Of Champagne to my Room for My Husband and I.. which I felt was so sweet and thoughtful Only to Discover that they STOLE $300 Cash out of MY WALLET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Raced DOWN to the front desk to speak to the Manager and report what had happened Only for Him to Say SORRY But there is nothing we can do for you!! Then he goes in the drawer and shows me a form stating that the hotel is NOT liable for anything Stolen. The Hotel Manager never offered to Investigate the whole Ordeal or anything which left me feeling Violated and Upset.
