We originally booked Temptations Cancun for New Years Eve. We wanted to go for the "party" atmosphere as this is way outside the "norm" for us. Plans changed and we had to reschedule (we were on a no-refund rate). As our new date approached, based on reviews we read since booking, I had serious reservations about going on a mini-vacation there. The reviews, and described demographics, are WAY off. First, at 55 years old we fit in just perfectly. Second, this is a fun and active atmosphere but not the debaucherous party reviews has led us to fear. Third, the food was very good. On top of all this, the service was outstanding. Lili took great care of us at the pool area. We had a great time. We went two of the evening "bashes". They were as entertaining as any of the resort shows we have been to. Went to bed before midnight every night and we were at the pool by 0645 to claim our chairs for the day and watch the sun come up. The bartenders did a great job of managing their pours which kept everyone having fun without getting out of control. The pool volleyball was a lot of fun and the foam party is a must. Let's just start off by praising the staff here at this resort. They go above and beyond for anything you need, it truly is amazing what they do here. Some employees that really stood out for me was Mario, the restaurant waiter at SHE. He was able to serve us twice during our stay and he was always on top of everything, and the friendliest gentleman you could ever imagine! Also, Jackeline, the restaurant manager at Sea Flirt. My husband and I had a little inconvenience at our dinner, and she went above and beyond to make it right and offered us a surf n turf dinner on the beach at sunset! We were completely amazed by what the staff went out of their way to do for us. Alberto one of the breakfast restaurant waiters was super friendly and helpful. He gave us info on things we were planning to do and was always so quick and persistent serving us. Also, Yamy, one of the bar waitresses, was wonderful! She was the sweetest person and always made sure we were taken care of when we were at the night shows and partying on the upper level. Ingrid was the last one I wanted to mention. She was one of the playmakers and she was always so friendly and a joy to be around! She always come out of her way to say hi to our group and always made us smile! I also want to mention all the food here. The food is exceptional and they have so many different options to choose from! I think we had a different cuisine every night of our stay in all the different restaurants they offer here. The portion sizes can be a bit small, especially at the restaurant SHE, so I suggest ordering multiple different plates. This will also give you the chance to get a taste of everything. The culinary experience you will have at this resort will not disappoint you! Some of the restaurants you need to make reservations for, so make sure to look into that because they can fill up fast. This resort is definitely a party resort, so if you're not up for partying and drinking, this probably isn't the best resort for you. Also, this is a big swingers Resort, so if you're also not comfortable with that I would also suggest another resort. We had a couple of couples come up to us and ask if we were into that, so just be prepared with those questions! There are definitely couples there though that are just there to party and have fun, so they have the best of both worlds for what you're looking for! I gave this resort 5 stars because the accommodations were beautiful the food was delicious!! The hibachi restaurant was spectacular. If you only go to one restaurant make sure it's SHE! She is both erotic and delicious. The staff was entertaining and made the trip. My husband and I always have an insanely great time at TTR. From the variety of restaurants, the sexy pool shenanigans, and the great all accepting vibe from the people that go there. But by far, our fav part is meeting the amazing staff; Norma- super helpful in the premier office. Hebert Manuel Luis- also in the premier office was kind and friendly and most helpful. Amores restaurant; Gabriel - was a friend right away, a total gentleman and always checking on us. Candelairo - another great person that chatted and was very hospitable. Temptation is just that... if you are looking to party until your liver fails, or if you are looking for over 55 years of age exposed tits all day... or if you are looking for the same techno music in repeat .. ooorrr adolescent/ adults hype people who are still trying to find themselves... this is truly the place for you.. its a party ALL DAY... same party in repeat different costume at 10pm but same party... kinda of like twilight zone... don't get me wrong it has decent food and the employee are great but it very extreme . If you are looking to party for a few days I definitely recommend.. BUT if you are looking for a balance of peace and party don't waste your money the music does NOT cut off until 2am...same music in repeat every NIGHT...same people with different costumes every night... I had been to this resort prior in 2019, that trip was amazing. This trip 08/31/2002 was the worst experience I have had. The staff was not caring no one greeted me upon arrival expect the bell hop guy. The customer service was terrible not friendly like it use to be at all. I did my sales presentation as I was on a Referral to the resort, I was paired with a woman covered in tattoos head to toe, Nothing wrong with tattoos just saying so they know who she is. She told me her name but that was not her name. I was taking to breakfast and told not to waster her time and she then talked about the lifestyle (swinger) she asked if I was Bi sexual and that she is very open to being a swinger. I was so taken back by her openness about being a swinger and how she wanted to know if I was since I was wearing a black ring. She took me to the sales office and had me listen to the sales pitch, which I told her I was not buying into the timeshare bs. The manager came over and said I had to wait 90 minutes to get my sponsor their payment for me going. The sales woman, said that my sponsor for the referral was cheap and she undermines the resort by selling off contracts that she buys from members that are not satisfied with the resort or just dont use the resort after buying into the bs. I told her to leave me alone and I was told I completed the 90 minute time frame so the sponsor of the referral gets $250. This resort is the worst place to seek 5 star treatment. They are cheap. watered down drinks and just no where near the style that it use to be in 2019 when I went. I was hurt in the sexy pool I stepped on a very sharp object or tile from the pool that come up. Lots of tiles on the bottom of the pool are coming up and no one fixes anything at the resort. I got a very bad laceration which needed stitches. I got out and the lifeguard came over and cleaned it out and gave me a bandaid and said do not got to Mexican hospital because it is not safe, cartel with kill you. I left the resort early, leaving 3 night unused. I checked out and the young man there said I had so much money on credit to use at a future time. I got home and sought medical attention, I emailed the resort and called numerous times with out any answer. I did talk to Enrique who told me I have to email the front desk for the balance and email showing I have a credit. Still to this day, no answers no help, everyone just says its not their department and cant help me. I was told at the front desk upon check out call reservations and they will get you the info, Reservations says front desk is responsible for that. its a joke of a show there at Temptation Cancun. The resort is making huge money from guest and non of it goes back into the resort. My garden view room was flooded and the floor tiles were all cracked I could not go bare foot in my room. Total disaster at this place. Avoid this place and just book somewhere els, this is my own review as I was there for 3 nights out of 6 and these are my own words for this review. still no answer from Temptation after 12 emails and more phone calls. read more

Our recent stay at Temptation Miches - Dominican Republic was far from what we expected. Unfortunately, our experience took a dark turn when my wife and I contracted a potentially deadly form of E. Coli called, "Shiga Toxin". This serious illness required immediate medical attention, leaving us deeply concerned about the hotel's hygiene and safety standards. I strongly advise everyone to to be cautious when considering this resort for their stay. Health should be the top priority and it's crucial for accommodations to maintain high cleanliness standards. We suffer intense migraine headaches, stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting. The symptoms became increasingly worse on our return home. My wife underwent two brain scans during the diagnoses process not covered by our insurance. After being diagnosed, our state's Department of Health was immediately notified, per protocol. They contacted us at home in an effort to trace the bacteria to its origin, and to monitor our progress due to the potentially deadly affects. According to the Health Department, who reviewed our lab results and is familiar with the Shiga Toxin strain of E. Coli, said the food we ate was likely contaminated and mixed with animal feces.  The thought of ingesting animal feces at dinner is nothing short of disgusting.  I contacted the resort regarding these hygiene and safety concerns. My bf and i have been to Cancun every year for the past 5 years and we have stayed 2 times at this resort , and we absolutely love it and are never going anywhere else when we come back. I must say i am a bit shocked to see the amount of stars for this resort, reading the reviews i cant believe they found people at the resort rude, being roofied and complaining about the mold. Yes it is a humid place so of course the smell is different, it is Mexico not the U.S . We have have always been treated amazingly well from check in to the whole stay, the staff are just beyond kind and attentive friendly people. The food is great the drinks and entertainment every night is super fun and a different experience. Before booking I don't think people read that it is an adult resort, there will partying all day and drinking if it's not for you stay the Hilton and enjoy the quite there. The restaurants are wonderful you get to try a little bit of everything , there is never a dull moment here, you meet he most amazing and interesting people from all over the world, we can't wait to come back!! read more

My boyfriend and I had a great time at this resort for our birthdays One week before Christmas! We were greeted with drinks upon check in and immediately went to lunch, which was pretty good. I have to say I was not impressed with the room service. My burger was rubbery-like and the shrimp spaghetti wasn't great either. Your best bet on the late night tip are the wings!! Breakfast at Sea Flirt was pretty good and we enjoyed the late night entertainment! The atmosphere is full of party ppl just ready to have a great time, making the sexy pool hella fun! Everyone was very respectful and we made a few friends very easily! The staff was very friendly and we dodged the "tour" and the resort pitch on purpose lol YOU MUST TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR SPA! We were in there for 3 hours! What a relaxing experience! Please get there early to experience every bit of it before your massage even begins! You won't regret it! The hibachi place was very good! The rooms are beautiful and I was happy to have a garden view-away from all of the late night partying so we could focus on just each other. Next time I would bring a group of friends and get a room with a jacuzzi. The showers are really sexy too, you'll have a blast in there I would give it 5 stars if the food was better but that was the only downfall to the resort. read more

At 7am June 22, 2024 I was assaulted and arrested in front of the resort due to a balance for a service fee I never used. I explained to manager Rubio that my flight to New York City was at 9am so me and my wife had to check out early so we could make it to the Airport on time. The manager responded and told us there is nothing he can do we must wait until 11am for the staff to confirm that we did not receive any Spa treatment. This was the resorts mistake not ours, I explain to the manger the situation was not our fault the manager Rubio then radioed for security. When I retrieved my luggage I was met by Jorge (security) who snatched my luggage and pushed me. I asked Jorge not to touch me, that is when him and four other security staff began to push me to the floor, put me in a headlock to strangle me while carrying me in the air in front in the resort. They proceeded the choke punch and kick me then drag me to a secluded area and pinned me on the ground face first in a puddle of water while sitting on my back causing me to suffocate, I began screaming for help and stating that I could not breathe. Jorge would not get off my back for at least five minutes all while the other staff bounded my wrist and ankles all while manager Rubio is standing there allowing this. My wife began to record the situation when a female employee assaulted my wife and took her phone and deleted the videos in front of the resort. I have Stage four non Hodgkin lymphoma and this is unacceptable treatment of a first time guest at your resort. I was then arrested and sent to jail only to have to post $500 US dollars bail on top of the cost of a massage treatment I never receive, I await a response as I am disappointed in Temptation's for treating customers this way. I await my refund for all moneys taken by your resort, I will seek further legal action if necessary. I would not advise anyone to visit this resort, they are not professional and will charge you for services that where never rendered and tell that you cannot check out then keep you hostage. Temptation. Temptation. Temptation. I loved this place and I'm coming back REAL soon. So, my husband and I came to Mexico on a whim and the first place we booked was HORRIBLE so we could stay there. We finally decided to go to Tempation because by the pictures and reviews it was beautiful, the food was great, there were parties in abundance and friendly people. Plus, it was modern and lively with colors everywhere. When we walked in, we knew this was more our speed. The ambiance and decor was wonderful and while waiting to check in, someone brought us the drink of the day and cool towel because of how hot it was. First, we get to our room and it is so dope! The blinds start raising on their own, you have a huge shower, the minibar is 's stocked and the Tv is a smart TV with your name on the screen welcoming you to Tempation! They do try to get you to do a tour and buy property but we skipped it because my husband had just gone to sleep and we weren't interested at all. The buffet was amazing. Breakfast was great. I love a freshly made omelet so I had one every morning. Sea Flirt lunch was also great and the room service we didn't order but if it was the same food as the restaurants, I'm sure it would've been good. There's a $5 charge for room service, also. The bars were always poppin and the sexy oil is where the foam party was!! There were games by the pool with amazing prizes (an extra all inclusive night's stay and a bottle of champagne. They have a new rooftop bar and $20 entry to this with stripper poles and topless option. The resort is wonderful. Two stars is a gift. Food overall was poor - especially the steaks. Believe the strategy is quantity over quality. Drinks were not much better - cheap booze and weak. Rooms were average. Ambience overall was disappointing. I would have liked way more if I was looking for some fun over spring break. The lights and A/C in the room are all automatic and I was showed by the amazing staff, Cornelius, on how to work it! QUICK TIP: If you want your hotel room next to the sexy pool area, make sure you book the high priced rooms (they are well worth it!). THEMED NIGHTS: I had a wonderful time dressing up for the life themed events. Let's just say that you see all types of people in All. Types .Of. Outfits. Like seriously, some of them might as well came naked, because there was barely anything covering them up. But, trust me, it does give you a good laugh after a couple of alcohol drinks! HA! Make sure you come dressed to impress because there were many people dressed up and looked FABOULOUS! I also love that the staff dress up and participate as well! One of my favorite times were the nightlife entertainment and the themed night events; such a blast! STAFF: All the staff here were truly amazing and really want their guest to have a wonderful time. First time going to this resort when I went on vacation for my birthday. And wow. So it was my first time going to a "adults only" type of resort and now I don't want to go to resorts that are NOT adults only! It was such a new but great experience. The whole staff from the janitors to the bar to the live IN-RESORT entertainment was just mind blowing. They truly care about you having the best time you could possibly have. I've never gone to a resort twice or even vacationed in the same area twice. But this is one resort that I actually am already planning to book again for 2019! Word of advice: if you're a couple that tends to be more jealous side or insecure (honestly really the term for it) then do NOT go here. STAY AWAY! We arrived today for my 20th wedding anniversary and was told my room wasn't available. After an hour of waiting, we were told WE CAN PAY to be bumped up to a better room for one day, or bumped down for the night but there will be NO REFUND OF THE DIFFERENCE we already paid for, and worse, no compensation or other amenities provided. IN OTHER WORDS, THEY'LL KEEP MY MONEY AND NOT REFUND THE DIFFERENCE FOR THE BUMPED DOWN ROOM. So, on our 20th anniversary we are in a double room feeing like roommates and still have to move tomorrow to the room we originally requested. This means I can't unpack and have to live out my suitcase for the beginning of my trip. So far, 2 thumbs down for this place. There is nothing special about this place that you cannot see in any other Cancun resort but let's see if it gets any better. The "manager" Michelle wasted our time and literally told us that she's not responsible for he erroneous information Phany or Paulina told us. Love the new renovations to the place. The place was completely demolished and rebuilt. It has a very sci-fi architecture feel to it. The food was amazing. The gym is very clean and has an attendant with fresh towels and water There was a tropical storm that came by for a couple of day and nothing stopped people from still going into the sexy pool which is the main pool. The pool waiters are ever friendly and always making sure guests have their drinks. The waiters in the main buffet area are the same way. Each waiter has an area of tables to look after the guests. I stayed 3 nights here this past weekend. The organization for checking in is really bad! We had to change our room 3 times. The room that I choose and paid wasn't available. Xavier told me "they choose the room by availability" really?! BS! So becareful when you make a reservation. The hotel is beautiful and everyone very kind and friendly. BEWARE: This is a swingers resort. You will see relations in public areas OR be asked to join/switch. If you're into a time swinger style hotel with no customer service, this is absolutely the place to be. Also beware of the fake excursion people by the "sexy" pool. They lie and say they're part of the hotel but then take your money and don't give you your excursion. When you talk to the hotel, they don't care because it's not their problem when you get scammed by the people. Also be careful because they will also try go get up to purchase drugs (which the hotel does not care about either). They're very much all about helping scam Americans both inside and outside the hotel. 20/10 would not recommend this place ever. The food is 2/10 in quality. Edible, but still basic with no flavor at all. The parties would be better if they had actual DJs play the night parties would be better. The music goes until 2AM or later every night. If you're a Swinger or a frat / sorority person trying to relive your glory days from 30 years ago, you'll probably love this place. If not, I'd look for a different All Inclusive. Speaking of All Inclusive, that's a bit of a stretch. If you're a basic hotel guest, you're sometimes treated almost as 2nd class citizens. The Hotel really caters to its " Premier" guests. They have exclusive access to some restaurants, MUCH better food choices at all the restaurants, and even have a huge block of chairs reserved for them at the Party Pool. The Party Pool can be fun, just expect A LOT of PDA. I'm not talking about simply kissing or making out, the staff had to stop couples from having sex multiple times. I really could go on and on about the negatives , but most of the past reviews cover it nicely, especially about the rooms. The AC is pretty weak, and the tile flooring can be dangerous when wet. If you're looking for a romantic but fairly quiet resort to vacation at, definitely avoid this place. They blast music until 2am and you can hear it everywhere on the property. We have visited this resort 3x in 1.5years and we love it! The rooms are great, the food is plentiful and delicious but it's the staff that has truly made the trips phenomenal. Christian The Butler - WOW! Christian is more than professional, he is personable, kind, and always has a smile on his face! Our flight was delayed, yet Christian still met us at the resort at 11:00pm on his day off!! Christian went out of his way to find us every day to see if there was anything he could do to make our stay more enjoyable. Christian scheduled our dinner reservations, massages, and helped set up transportation to and from the resort. We plan to vacation at Temptations Cancun in the future and we will specifically ask for Christian!! Alejandra The Playmaker - she's wonderful! Alejandra has the sweetest personality and really went out of her way to engage the crowd and made the games fun and entertaining. It is a really great feeling to go back to a resort and have someone remember your name and express happiness to see you! Jungle Jay The Playmaker - Amazing!! I have never met anyone with so much energy and a real zest for life! Jungle Jay has a mesmerizing smile and truly loves being a part of a hypnotic and fun atmosphere! We checked in 2 days ago and have loved everything about our experience so far! Last time I stayed here I had some issues due to it being incredibly busy and workers not communicating properly to each other about some promises that were made to me, and broken. The Premiere team did everything in their power to apologize and correct the issues, and I still enjoyed my previous stay, which is why my husband and I decided to come back. They promised our next trip would be flawless and so far they have 100% delivered! Check in was a breeze, our butler Ivan is a doll, every staff member is respectful and friendly no matter your age or demographic. SUPER nice rooms and restaurants. And just a nice vibe. As for the party scene: yes, very wild, but very body positive and inclusive of everyone regardless of age or level of fitness. The topless thing stops being shocking after day one and then it's just fun! Very empowering and boosted my confidence honestly. I've made friends with 60year old couples and 30 somethings. I've never felt pressured to swing or felt like someone was creeping on me. It's a good vibe trust me. You can take it as far as YOU want. Killer rooms and food and nightly entertainment. Really fun party pool atmosphere. Fantastic customer service and friendly staff. Other guests are nice, non judgmental and run the full range in age, looks, fitness, economic status, etc. I will update this review at the end of my trip with any additional positives or negatives that stand out. read more

I am going to do my best to write a review that gives information that I would have found helpful before coming to TTR for the first time as a mid 30's, child free, non-lifestyle couple. I will break it down from start to finish. Arrival/Check In: They aren't pulling out all the stops to make you feel welcome upon arrival. They first and foremost want you to listen to their spiel regarding membership. We were ushered into line and check in pretty quickly but our room keys were given to a "host" aka the salesperson not us. We had to make it clear we weren't interested in becoming members at which point he tossed us the key and walked off. Not cool. No resort map. Did not even point us to the elevators. Our bags had been taken when we got out of the car so my husband had to go track those down on his own. 1 Star. Accommodations: The rooms are exactly what you see online. Nothing more, nothing less. I personally found it lacking. I also didn't enjoy that the doors didn't self-close. My biggest complaint about the room is that the water in the showers stank of Sulfur. I don't mean there was a faint aroma either. I mean I left like I was taking a flea dip in that shower. It was stomach turning. My husband took wet wipe baths the whole time because he simply couldn't stand the stench. 10/10 would not return for that reason alone. 0 Stars Food: There is no getting around the fact that the food is extremely typical buffet food. Even the places they tout as "high end or upscale". There were two things I ate here that didn't turn my stomach (and I live in TX and thus eat tacos from gas stations on the reg)... the hot wings at Sky Bar & the pool side burgers. The forced "high end cuisine" is just awful. Make food people want to eat. The end. 1 Star Quiet/Pool & Beach Access: So this actually mad me really mad. Since we weren't given a map or tour we never found the quiet pool or beach until the day we were checking out. It's sort of out of the way and hard to find unless you know what you are looking for. Beautiful & clean beach you expect in Cancun and the quiet pool looked rather nice. Unfortunately, I did not get to experience it personally but it looked at least 4 Stars to me. Sexy Pool: In my opinion this is the only real "attraction" at TTR. Very large pool. Short wait at the bar. The liquor selection is abysmal. The bartenders aren't particularly friendly even if you are tipping 50-100 pesos every time you order. I have been to my fair share of resorts and I haven't really ever encountered staff that had attitudes as bad as the pool bartenders at TTR. There is a ton of shade at the pool which is great. Lots of bar stools too. I read a lot of complaints about needing pool chairs and getting out early in the AM to put your stuff down. We never had a problem finding a chair even if we didn't come down until noon or so. The play makers varied by day of my three days only 1 wasn't great. The rest were fun enough. The people at the pool were largely nice albeit it did seem as if there were lots of cliques and the black bands seemed to only want to stick with other black bands. White bands were always nice because they were new too! We somehow got pink bands and that seemed to make some of the members upset because we did not rent a penthouse. There are some boobs out and some butts in strings bikini's but for the most part you don't even notice. People really kind of stick to their group and stand around in the same spot all day. I saw very little happening outside of the pool. A few people dancing here and there but mostly just people standing in water all day long every day. One thing that bothered me the entire time is that no one and I mean NO ONE gets out to pee. The bathroom was always empty. Grosses me out just thinking about it. I would give the sexy pool 3 Stars. Nightlife/Bash Parties: This is the most overrated part of the whole damn resort. There would be music, lights, dancers, drinks etc every night. The problem is all those standers in the pool are now just sitting or standing around. It's like a bad high school reunion. Some people are in odd variations of costume. Some are dressed like they are homeless. Some are dressed up like you would expect for nighttime at a resort in Mexico. Some people are just wearing underwear. It's all just so non cohesive! It honestly reminded me of a cruise ship nightclub with slightly better music. There was literally NOTHING special about it on its own. Meeting a cool group of people helps because you can sort of forget what's going (not) on around you and just interact with them. 2.5 Stars Conclusion: if you have ever been to a day party in Vegas or Miami or traveled even a little bit you might be disappointed. I think the no photo's rule is more about the resort controlling the image to keep how lame this place actually is off the internet and less about privacy of guests. read more

My 1st night was an eye opener, everyone drinking and having a great time. No one acting dumb just adults letting loose and enjoying the vibes. I absolutely love this resort and would absolutely give it 6 stars... However, we did the "presentation", paid more money in one hour of decision making than most would for a car, and were promised ALL these things that didnt happen. Unanswered promises. I MUST say that our butlers are amazing as people, however. They have truly made our experience better. Ivan and Carlos helped us out the entire vacation and they are truly exceptional humans. Quite honestly, my favorite part of this trip. They are the best thing that happened for sure However, when we were supposed to switch rooms, we were introduced to about 15 staff members in a row in order to "distract us" from their mistake. We are both very young and wealthy from working insanely hard, and since all their members are old, we are 100% sure they tried to "play us" as we are millennials. I would have come back to this resort 100 times if I wasn't lied to by SO many different employees. You sign a contract that they expect you to abide by, but had absolutely no problem breaking their promises and offering much lower value items to us, at the hotels expense, to try and make us feel better. Most idiots would buy into this behavior but I was not fooled. The list goes on... Sucks because I truly loved this place. They are doing everything they can to enhance our stay, but I do business a bit different. read more

They try to pressure you into buying a timeshare type of membership that they promise you top shelf alcohol, lobster dinner and so on. This trip the bars say they are out of that alcohol and they say lobster season is over and no lobster available. Terrible management. We arrived not even 6 hours into our trip and the closet door fell on my friend. All four hinges came off and cut her all down the side. We found her on the floor in a pool of blood. I tried to call 5 different numbers on the bottle phone and all were busy. I found the sexy pool to be kind of annoying because they introduced the playmakers everyday and we found it to take way to long and kind of killed the vibe. All in all, a lot of fun! This place is incredible. Great staff, food is good (dont let other reviews make you think otherwise), the day time and night time entertainment was incredible and this is BY FAR the best adults resort in all of Cancun! It's a must stay. Notice when you read other reviews that give this resort less than (5) stars, it's because of things that are sometimes out of the the control of the resort. One person says their temperature wasn't taking, but funny that I've been to this resort 3 times in 2020 and they took my temperature every single time. Again, other people that gave this resort less than 4-5 stars are salty for whatever reason and allowed small things ruin their experience because of their inability to adapt, especially in Mexico. Soooo let's start by saying that they lost my groups luggage. Actually they didn't lose it they gave it to another party. The bell service, front desk, and resort manager were no help and just wanted us to sweep it under the rug. When it was finally "found" it was rummaged through and tags were popped off of clothing items. They took us to another groups room and accused them of taking our luggage. I feel this was done because of racial profiling honestly. And the description of the rooms are highly inaccurate! Ocean view... garden view... just know that you will not be getting that. Warning. I was so excited about this trip but the customer service and blatant theft attempt has ruined my experience. Please think twice before you book your vacation here. Overall: I enjoyed the resort. we had a great time. CONS: (bc you always wanna hear the bad stuff first lol). -$400 incidental hold on credit card at check in. Hated that. Then it takes 2 weeks to return back on your card. However, we called our bank and had to go through hell and high water for them to work with TTR staff in order to get the money back at check out. -No early check in. but they took care of our luggage (gave us a ticket to retrieve it and locked it in a room) and we were able to go to the pool and eat while we waited. -The timeshare invitation. THAT WAS SO ANNOYING. they try to trick you by saying you can only get discounts on the excursions if you basically let some lady try to sell you a timeshare over mimosas for 45 mins to an hour. one couple told us they had them in there for 3 hours. telling them you're not interested does not work. they pressure you into listening to them. that pissed me off. -The rooms were clean but could have been cleaner. i'll give it a 7/10. however, when i travel i Lysol everything down first, put a towel down to step on in the shower or use flip flops (and im not even a germaphobe, i just like cleanliness). -didnt have an ocean view as we booked. we had to look around trees to see the ocean. -we only went out once. we went to LaVaquinta. played hiphop, pop etc. it was a fun atmosphere; balloons everywhere, confetti etc. PROS: -Its a party resort. which was right up our alley. its always a fun atmosphere. people do walk around topless but it did not bother us. -loved the sexy pool. the Djs played games to get people to interact. People volunteered and he also called people up. if you didnt look interested, he didnt bother you. No one was never really at the relaxing pool. - the bogo deals on the excursions was probably the best. we went zip lining, speed boating, snorkeling (10/10 recommend), atv riding, horseback riding (bring protective glasses and something to wear over your face like a bandana bc it gets dirty!!! dirt will fly in your eyes). -the night life was okay bc of the themed nights a lot of people participated.. its not like a club atmosphere, more like a bar. the music was a mix of everything. if they played hip hop, it was some old mainstream/mixed with fairly new mainstream. but it was still fine (and i love hip hop). -the buffet was alright. the restaurants were alright as well. The food during the night club hours was the best food. They had a chef cooking burgers, fries, mac and cheese, fajitas etc; all kinds of things while the music was playing and the dancers were dancing. the burgers were good. However, for all inclusive, it sufficed. The best part was having unlimited drinks. The drinks were a little watered down, but thats expected. read more

My husband and I spent over $5,000 to stay for 4 nights. The hotel is very entertaining. The drinks are horrible, taste like medicine. The food is mediocre, as is in most all inclusive resorts. We liked the resort until they tried selling us weeks (a concept not to different from a time share). The agent was extremely nice (like anyone trying to sell something), until we said we weren't interested right now because we don't like to purchase things without doing our research. The agent then said our decision was bullshit because we made it in an hour. This was such a turn off and frankly disrespectful!!!! read more
